Hi there welcome to our channel while most people, like phones with fancy, exterior thin body and multiple cameras. There are certain groups of people who prefer rugged phones which are suitable for all environment, and today we are going to talk about one such phone from Samsung, which has popped up on a benchmarking platform geek bench and also on FCC. First, the code name of the device is sm-g525f, and it should arrive later this year as the galaxy x cover 5. Now this is not a premium rugged phone, in the sense that the processor powering this phone is the entry level Enos 850 4g chipset. It is an 8 nanometer, outscore chipset, which is super efficient and the battery drain will be lowed other than that. It features 8 cortex a55, low-powered, CPU cores all running at 2 gigahertz, so the combination of an 8 nanometer design and cortex a55 CPU cores only means.
We can therefore expect the Enos 850 to make this phone power efficient. It will be accompanied by 4 gigs of ram and for software the phone will run android 11. The chipset supports full HD plus displays and a dual camera setup with full HD 30 fps video recording connectivity options in this processor include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 5.0 and even supports FM radio so expect almost all these features to be onboard the phone as well. Moving on to the FCC listing, it's mentioned that the phone will support 15 watt fast charging. There is no information on battery capacity yet, however, soon we will know about that as well.
As it's been listed on FCC and as this is a regular phone, it will surely get ip68 certification for both dust and water resistance and a multi-standard 810g compliance. Samsung is yet to reveal the official launch date of this new upcoming smartphone. However, considering the latest FCC certification and appearance on geek bench database, the launch doesn't seem to be that far away for more information on this device do subscribe to our channel, and thank you for watching peace out. You.
