Hey, it's evil well at this point, we all know that the galaxy watch, 4 and watch 4 classic will be the first smartwatches by Samsung in many years to be based on an operating system other than ti zen OS since they'll be rocking google's Wear OS with a fresh version of one UI watch on top. Besides, the most important news is its likely that the upcoming watch series will reportedly support the Google Assistant. In fact, according to a recent tweet by snoopy tech, the galaxy watch 4 series will support both the Google Assistant and Samsung's Bixby virtual assistant, which is also further supported by recently leaked spec sheet. However, until now the galaxy watch series only offered Bixby out of the box, but this time it looks. Google Assistant is also on the way to join the upcoming galaxy wearables. Having said that, the million-dollar question is: will we be able to change the default assistant? And the answer is we don't know? Even if the galaxy watch 4 series will come pre-loaded with Google Assistant and Bixby as yet, there's still no evidence to confirm whether users will have the option to choose a default virtual assistant between these two.
But personally, I think there can be two possibilities. First off Samsung might allow customers to choose between their preferred assistant over the other, or it could be that Bixby will be activated by default without an option to pick Google Assistant as the main virtual helper. We never know, however, at the end of the day, it's up to Samsung, and we will definitely know on upcoming unpacked on August. With all that said, we also got some leaks regarding the confirmed prices for both the galaxy watch 4 series. According to Easter Evan class aka leaks, has published a few images of the galaxy watch 4 and the galaxy watch 4 classic with the European pricing, where the 44 millimeters variant of watch 4 could carry a price tag of 279 euros, while its 44 millimeters variant could cost 309 euros.
On the other hand, the galaxy watch 4 classic with rotating bezel and a bigger screen, could be priced at 379 euro for the 42 millimeters variant and 409 euro for the 46 millimeters variant respectively. Furthermore, reminiscing the specs, both smartwatches, will sport a circular super AMOLED displays with corning's gorilla, glass, DX and DX plus protection, an ip68 rating, as well as a mil std810g, compliant design for dust water and shock resistance. Moreover, both smartwatches will run one UI watch 3.5 on top of Wear OS 3 and several features such as an accelerometer barometric, altimeter, ECG, GPS, gyro, heart rate, monitor sleep monitoring, spo2 sensor, stress, monitoring and even body fat composition, measurement. Moving on both the galaxy watch 4 and the galaxy watch, 4 classic will come equipped with the 5?nm Enos, w 920, dual-core processor, 1.5 gigs of ram and 16 gigs of internal storage. With that being said, Samsung will unveil a bunch of new devices next week during its galaxy unpacked on August 11th, where the company will also introduce its galaxy watch, 4 series running ware, OS 3 as well till then.
