Yo, what's up everybody, it's your boy floss back again with another video, and today we're gonna. Do a quick unboxing of the Samsung Galaxy S 9 and the galaxy s 9 plus. Now you can body from all the major carriers, or you can pick them up directly from Samsung comm, which I think has the best deal out right now let me tell you what I paid for them for the galaxy s, 9 you're, looking at 720 bucks now Samsung is letting you trade in one of your old phones for up to $300 worth of savings, so I'm trading in the Galaxy S7 they knocked off 300 that brought the price down to 420, plus tax I paid 472 bucks now for the s9 plus you're, looking at 840 I'm trading, a s7 edge that knocked off 300 that brought the price down to 540, plus tax I paid 603 bucks. So, let's recap for the s9 472 bucks for the s9 plus 603 bucks. The price is right now that no I hate talking about specs, but since this is an unboxing video, let's go through the specs real quick. Now both of these phones are available in three different colors.

You got midnight black, coral, blue and lilac purple, no titanium gray, no adamantine silver right now, but those might come later now, let's start with the s9. Now for the s9, you got a 5.8 inch, quad HD display with the resolution of 1440 by 2960. Now that's a Super AMOLED panel with 574 the PPI Patrol. Now the phone is ip68 dust and water resistant, and it features Corning Gorilla, Glass 5. Now for the processor you got a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 with the adrenals 630 GPU top-of-the-line specs, now fresh out of the box.

The phone is running Android, 800 or EO, while as we call it Optimum Prime and you got a micros card slot for expandable memory up to 400 gigs. Now for the s9 you get four gigs of ram and either 64 128 or 256 gigs worth of storage. Depending on what region you in now mine's 64 gigs. Now for the camera on the rear, you got a 12, megapixel camera, that's F, 1 point 5, 2, F 2.4, and on the front you got an 8 megapixel, camera f.1.7 now you got a non-removable 3000 William battery that features quick charge 2.0. Now, of course you got your fingerprint sensor.

Your iris sensor, you're getting dual speakers Wireless charge all the goodies that you expect on a flagship now, what's the difference between the s9 and the s9 + number one the display. So if the s9 plus you got a 6.2 inch display same resolution, but you're getting 529 for your PPI Patrol's now with the s9 plus, instead of 4 gigs of ram. Now you got 6 gigs of ram with the same 64, 128 or 256 gig storage options. I got 64 now. The major difference between the s9 and s9 + is the camera on the s9 + on the rear.

You got a dual camera setup, so you got two 12 megapixel cameras. One is F 1 point 5 2, F 2.4, the other one is F 2 point 4 and the last difference is battery with the galaxy s 9 3000 William battery with the s 9 plus you got a big three thousand five hundred million battery. Both of these feature quick charge, 2.0 all right. So, let's pop these open to see what it is, we'll start up for the galaxy s, 9 beautiful, looking presentation, looks identical to the s8 yeah I know I'm, like a nice black box who do it here. We go okay, galaxy s 9 inside.

Let's see what you get in this little flap. Here's your sim ejection tool, get your usual books and pluck them and file them. Here's your phone now for the galaxy s, 9 hold up, rajah I went with the coral blue or, as we call it, the marine biologist edition. Let me peel off that sticker for a maximum effect check this out. Whew now I'm, usually not a fan of the blue, but I got to keep it real.

This coral blue does look beautiful. Alright, let's see what else you get in the box. Here's your fast charge! Adapter! You get the OTG transfer your data you to Samsung headphones. Now these are tuned by AKG, now, I'm speaking from experience, you're gonna love, these headphones, don't lose them, and they have that braided feel to them. So definitely not some cheap headphones and here's a USB, type-c charging, cable and, of course, some different earbuds for your headphones.

So that's pretty much it now for this phone itself. Fingerprint sensor now check this out. Let me pull out my s8 notice, the difference in the fingerprint sensor placement instead of on the side of the camera underneath the camera. So now, you're gonna, quite worried about looking for your fingerprint sensor and smudging up your camera easier to find all right. Now, let's see real, quick, here's, your power button, let's power, this up, see if we matter of fact wrong side power button on this side.

Okay got a little power. That's your Vic's me button volume up and down sim ejection tray right there with your micro SD card slot. You got a mic: USB type-c, headphone jack speaker now this phone does have dual speakers, so you got one on the top one on the bottom. Now I got to wipe this down one more time. This blue looks much better in person alright, so let's keep moving.

Let's pop open the s9, plus real, quick, all right, the same presentation, bra. Okay, alright, so all the same stuff, no need to go through all this stuff in in-depth you've seen it already for the s9 +, yeah I know I had to get the midnight black or, as we call it, the Wesley snipes edition. Let's peel this off and get a wipe down for dramatic effect check this out hold up. You got to get the full effect on this. One.

Look at this. This phone is absolutely beautiful, alright, so inside the box, everything else is the same. Now I got one more I want to show you all check this out now shout out to Samsung. They did send me a review unit, but it wouldn't be a real review if I didn't really buy it. So I got a rule.

I've got two real units and I got the review unit, but I want to show you how to review unit real quick check this out. Now the review unit lilac purple now I got to wipe this down. Look at this. This lilac purple definitely looks beautiful now, I, don't know if this will be my first choice. Let's see, we think we need a name for this.

One we'll call this one, the Dip set version we won't, we won't kill it with the Barney. We call it the Dip set version so fellas. If you want to rock this, it doesn't look pink, it looks actually more purple. I thought it's going to be very pinkish, but it's definitely more on the purple side. Let's see what else they're doing the review box.

Okay, we got the Samsung fast wireless charger, we'll test that out in a second and, of course, the box. Let's see what else is in here and all your cables or your cables and plugs tightened infancy? Alright, so here's your three colors now I'm going to pause the video. Let me drop my information in the phone, and then we'll breeze through the OS. Talk amongst yourselves, all right, Josh, we'll be back in now. I just put my information in the phones, I've been playing around with them for a few minutes and I got to be honest, which are on a scale of one to ten.

These phones are a major major major go Samsung Knights stand up. We got some new heavy hitters on deck now. I know the main question everybody's going to ask me is: if you got a Galaxy S8 or an S, eight plus, should you upgrade and get the S nine or the s 9 Plus. Now we're going to have to wait about a week until I do the full review, but so far, first out of the gate, I would say this is a definite upgrade for me and I. Give you five quick reasons.

Why number one Android? Oh now, if you got your Galaxy S8 or your s8 plus you run an Android seven nuggets. Are you still in nugget boy? If you get the s9 or the s9 +, you run in the latest version of Android Oreo or as we call it Optimum Prime. Now, on the side, note I just downloaded Android pay for the pixel oven. It's running good has a few bugs, but as of today, the latest version of Android is the Android. Oh you're, getting out on your S 90s, not plus number two.

You get an upgraded processor and GPU now, along with six gigs of ram on the s9 +. That should help with Samsung's biggest problem, the lag, so now you're, getting the upgraded processor and GPU you more up-to-date, more future-proof number three. Now this might be the biggest upgrade. In my opinion, dual speakers now I can't stress how important that is to me. I think all phones should have them the check is there I'm heavier social media and a big part of my day is spent watching videos.

So the dual speakers and trust me when I tell you I'll do a little demo. They sound way better than your is and your s st. plus ISO dual speakers on deck number. Four. Now this has to do more with the Galaxy S, nine plus the camera.

This might be the pixel killer right here. This is one of the best cell phone cameras I've seen the date. The super slow motion is incredible. You got you an arm. Oh gee, the portrait mode is insane like I said: I got to do a little camera shootout, but this might be to pick some killer right here.

So you get an upgraded camera which s9 no dual cameras on the back, but you still got a dope camera and, last but not least, color choices. Now that might not be a big deal for a lot of people, but all the ladies out there, if you all, getting ready to buy a galaxy phone, you want to check out this lilac purple. This color just looks so dope now fellas. If you want this, one just call it the Purple Haze make it sound a little cool. This is just so unique.

We've already seen: gold white red blue when's, the last time you have seen a purple flagship phone, so this is going to increase your flaws factor by about 50%. Nobody else is going to have this except for most of the ladies, but it's just dope alright. So let's go to the phone real quick. Now you've got a bunch of different ways: real quick check out the lock screen look at the difference with Android, oh and Android Nugget. You see the blacked-out notifications that just looks so much better.

Now you got a bunch of different ways to open your phone. You got your fingerprint sensor on the back. You see how fast that is now shout out the Samsung they're catching up to war, weigh in 1 plus with the fingerprint sensor speed. This is the fastest one I've seen on the Samsung phone, yet notice the fingerprint sensor placement. Now, instead of right next to your camera, it's a little lower a little easier to reach all right.

So you got your fingerprint sensor, and it works 100% of the time now. You also got your iris sensor. I saw you've noticed all my fingers are in view I'm gonna, open it using just the eyes. Look how fast that iris sense is fun. Just like that and I got this big furry hat on now, you got.

Facial unlock also now check this out. You got facial unlock iris sensor, and you can combine both of them, so you can have facial and iris sensor to make it open even faster right now, I got just on iris sensor, because I got this big furry hat on, so it's blocking a little of my face, but look how fast that iris sensor is now I'm doing this from a funny angle, behind the camera trying to do one as fast as I can looking directly at it. You see how fast that is. Furthermore, you don't even see the lock screen if I look closely. It's going to go right to our home screen.

That is unbelievably fast, and its super secure its iris sensor technology now look I'm, not gonna, go through all the features. That's one of the things about buying the Samsung phone, a galaxy, there's too many features. So when I do the full review, you better grab your popcorn get a couple of beers. That's going to be a long video because there's too many things to cover, but I just cover a few things: real, quick. Let's go to the settings now from your drop-down menu.

You got your performance modes. I saw leave mine on high performance that increases your brightness and increases your processor speed a little. Let's see anything else, you got Dolby Atmos I got a demo, no speakers in a second, let's go to settings now you got all your basic settings. We don't have to go through NFC and all that stuff. But let's go to advanced features.

Now you got your usual. Your WorldStarHipHop button hit the camera twice. You got your multi windows, your smart capture, your palm swipe, direct call, smart alert, easy mute will go through all of that in the full review too many features, one of my favorite ones, your little app windows, I so say, I open up my Facebook. Let me just make sure, there's no savagery, all right, no savagery, of course, no savagery, luck pops up the savage King himself. Now we can swipe this down minimize this now I can still use the phone.

Let's turn it into a little bubble. You can have that on debt. So now I could be doing all my information in watching videos hit the Facebook button right back to Facebook exit right out of that. Of course, you got your split-screen multitasking everything on deck. You got your people edges your apps edge, your smart select, quick tools and, of course, if you go to settings you can add as many as you want, and you can download all the new ones.

I got to leave my calendar too. Now, let's go one more thing: I want to show you all in settings, then we'll take a look at the camera. Where was that at let's go to lock screen and security, you got intelligent scan, so that's gonna use your iris sensor and your face. You got just face unlock you got Irish sensor, fingerprint you got your always-on display now check out the always-on display. Let me show you that real, quick here's, your always-on display.

Now you can increase the brightness if you double tap on that it is fully functional. So, let's swipe over, so I got my last video I was playing. I can start that up right. There I can increase the brightness on my always-on display now I'm sitting under a big LED light. So it's hard to see, but it's pretty bright, you're not gonna, miss that all right, so we got always-on display.

Let's hit that iris in Carbon. Just like that, you got Samsung pay check this out now thought protection, fellas you all remember to make 10 Pro top protection. You got that protection on your Galaxy S, 9 plus, and your s9 secure folder. Now the upgrade is the secure folder. So this way you can open that directly to an app with a different fingerprint now set that up and show you how that works on a full review.

But it's crazy. You can also change it key layouts. So if you notice I like my back button on the left, when you take it out the box, your back button is going to be on the right and your recently he zaps gonna, be on the left. Switch that up. You can also change the color of the shader.

Now, lets real quick, let's go to the camera. I know I, keep saying real, quick! Let's go to the camera, let me show you something with the camera. Now here's a super slow-motion video I took, let's add the sound look how dope that is so, basically all I did. Let me pause that all I did was I took a deck of cards and I just dropped them on the table. Look how slow they dropped, though.

Now, if you use regular, slow motion, it's going to be slow, but super slow motion wait until I. Do the full review and I go outside, and I catch. Some real footage. I'm going to do some dope slow-motion shots, some people going to say that's kind of gimmicky, but just like anything else in life, it's not a gimmick. If you actually use it, so you're going to have to learn it and use it.

Let's go to settings real, quick I know real, quick, the picture size, 12, megapixels, all the way down to 4.7 video size. Look at all the different video sizes. You got 4k 60 frames per second I'm gonna, leave it on tint on 1080p 1920. Basically, 1080p 60 frames per second, but you got all your different modes. Let's see anything else to look at I would go.

Mosh got motion, photos too much stuff. Now you got your wide-angle selfie camera. Basically, what that is panorama. Alright, it's not wide angled like the g6 with just a natural wide angle. You're going to have to do a panoramic shot, but it does work.

We got live, focus, that's portrait mode. Now, I'm going to show you how to portrait mode photo. I just took I hold up. Here's my here's, my a emoji. Does that look like me, kinda I got a pretty kind of looks like me.

Let me make sure I've got any savage pictures in it. I want to show you how to portrait mode real quick matter of fact. Let's do it. Let's do it live I put on live focus, we'll do a portrait mode shot right here. Alright, so I got no maximum blur I'm just gonna.

Take a picture. I got a bunch of junk in the background, so that's even better. So you can see what it looks like now, we'll go to portrait. We go to the camera. Look at that shot! Look at the background! Now you can't even differentiate all the junk.

That's back there. You can't read the names on the boxes. It's blurred out. That was a point-and-shoot portrait mode shot. Look how beautiful that looks, this camera so dope! Now one thing I will say: yeah I know to make 10 Pro.

That's my favorite selfie camera I, don't know, I think the galaxy might have taken that that spot I took some selfies. Just now, with the galaxy s, 9 Pro I had to delete them because I look like trash, but they came out dope. So when I got a fresh fit on this week, when I see my Instagram all the pictures going to be with this, that's nine all right, so you got to live focus. That's your arm! Pan! Over portrait mode, you got pro mode change, ISO change, the shutter change everything. Apertures settings, you got panorama, you got food, alright, let's, let's keep scrolling the other way.

You got super slow motion, you're an arm. Oh gee, like I, said there are minds on deck. That's going to be a little fun gimmick to play with. You got hyperlapse slow motion and sports. Now you flip it around to the front same thing: got all your settings.

Alright! So, basically, like I, said fresh out of the box, if you like, Galaxy phones, you're going to love this phone now I'm just hoping that this doesn't happen. Um. Let me rephrase that I'm just hoping that the main thing that happens with all of my Galaxy phones doesn't happen with this one. That's the lag after a couple of months. Every time you get a galaxy phone fresh out of the box, they're going to be running silky, smooth, no lag, but we'll see.

Now, if you notice, when I'm swiping this way, no big speed. All right, you could disable that swipe, because I hate accidentally swiping and opening Bixby, but you got your Bixby button. Bixby has improved a lot over the last couple of months, what's the weather for tomorrow, and it does work with the screen off hi Bixby. What time is if it's 452 a. m.

so it's a lot fastest, a lot more smooth, a lot more responsive, so I got to give him credit for that all right. So, let's check out the display and my favorite upgrade the speakers now you all know: Samsung makes the best displays in the game and this one is no different, excellent viewing angles. You got the curved screen, quad HD AMOLED panel top of the line right here now. Listen to these speakers. You got sound coming from the top and on the bottom, all right.

So, let's cover up the bottom speaker still hear the sound crystal clear from the top. Now these sound great now just for comparison, here's your Galaxy, s8, plus same video same song. Now, let's cover up the bottom speaker, no sound, that's a huge upgrade for me anyway. This is the galaxy s.9 galaxy s, 9 plus, like I, said fresh out of the box on a scale of one to ten.
