Samsung Galaxy S7 vs Google Pixel 2 XL Camera Comparison [4K]

Hey everyone in this video I will compare Samsung Galaxy S7 with Google Pixel to excel in terms of real-world camera performance. One year difference between these two phones, older Galaxy S7, with slightly better aperture pixel to excel with its well-known software magic. Remember that real winner is up to you comment which one you think won after watching this video, lets began, both phones were set on auto mode and 12 megapixel settings HDR on the s7 was set on auto HDR plus was turned on the pixel moving into the first image. Quality is very good on both, but I would say. Google's smartphone did a better job photo from pixel, have slightly bluish greenish kind of taint that can be seen, especially in the grass area. Samsung, on the other hand, has tendency to make picture.

Look more. Yellowish I would like to see something more in the middle, but pixel is definitely closer to being accurate. Dynamic grunt is also better on the pixel. Just look at the sky area. Samsung picture is slightly blown out in comparison, same story in those shots, color accuracy and that picks us HDR+ is superior compared to the Galaxy S7 beautifully the tiled cloud area also, but there are times when both perform very closely, as you can see over here.

That shows that there is good amount of potential in both pixel and Samsung. One thing that I have concerns about in terms of pixel is definitely the bluish greenish tint that sometimes make picture look less accurate compared to the Samsung and, for example, in this one we can see that grass area in pixel is slightly off in colors dept again this time with reddish tint. That said, it happens. Rarely and I would still say. Pixel to Excel is definitely better accuracy.

Look at this tropical search red flower very problematic scene for most cameras, but pixel handles it without a problem. Samsung is no slouch when it comes to the dynamic range, but indeed it's Google's strong side. It handles some extremely well now, let's compare a level of detail on both first image in magnification, greatly emphasized the biggest difference between those two that is Samsung uses, more aggressive, digital sharpening, providing smaller amount of real detail and less dev than the pixel difference may not be night and day, but it's still there that's said some of you may prefer having that digital sharpening effect. Maybe macro pictures may look more appealing for some, but I find it especially unwanted and disturbing in landscapes that make photos have that unnatural look, pixel performs better in low light, more details with fewer artifacts and nice night mode. In addition, bigger difference is in stabilization, though, in this department pixel to excel beats s7 hands-down with Samsung Galaxy S7, it's very difficult to shoot something in Portland, Nick condition.

A lot of my photos ended up blurry. There was no such problem of pixel in terms of video recording, both pixel to excel and Samsung. Galaxy S7 should 4k at 30 frames per second for videos. Samsung also uses is digital, sharpening, which you know, I am NOT. A fan of pixels footage is much more stable, doesn't have that o is jello effect that is present in Samsung and appears to have slightly more details.

Color accuracy is also better on the pixel, no yellowish tint present in Samsung and better overall exposure on the flip side pixel is prone to show more sun reflection and a bit more grain in moving scenes which may be caused by either nitrate or electronic image. Stabilization algorithm in low-light pixel shows last noise-reduction, so there is not as many artifacts as in Samsung, but footage is more grainy with that being said, there is more detail, preserved and clearly much more things visible in the pixels' footage. In conclusion, both smartphones have very good cameras, but Google Pixel to excel outperforms Galaxy S7. In my opinion, it has better video quality, better, a low-light performance, wider, dynamic range, more accurate color tones and less digital sharpening. That said, s7 is still a solid performer that can keep up with the latest smartphones.

Let me know in the comments which one you think is better. Thank you for watching and see you in the next one.
