Samsung Galaxy S21 / S21 Ultra 5G - Unboxing and First Look By Flossy Carter

Yo: what's up everybody, it's your boy floss back again with another video, and today we're going to do a quick unboxing of the Samsung Galaxy s, 21 5g and the s21 ultra 5g. Now both of these phones, you can get from Samsung I'll, throw the link-up in the description. The price for the s21 starts at 800 bucks and the s21 ultra starts at 1200 bucks. Now, if you want more storage, you're going to pay more money now shout out to Samsung for sending me these early to check out. But look, I know you all come to my channel for the real reviews. So in order to give you all that I got to be a real consumer, so I pre-ordered the s21, the s21 plus and s21 ultra.

Now, when I do my real review, I'm gonna wait until I get my retail versions that I actually paid for, so I'm going to save all of my dislikes. I'm going to save all of my rants until I get the retail versions so for this video, I'm just going to go through the specs, we'll unbox them see what they look like, and I'll do a little size comparison with some other Samsung heavy hitters all right. So, let's go through the specs real quick now for the galaxy s21 ultra it comes in five different colors. You got phantom black phantom silver phantom, titanium phantom navy and phantom brown. Now these phones are available for all carriers, and they're 5g for the display.

You got a 6.8 inch, quad HD, plus dynamic AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1440 by 3200. Now that's 515 for the PPI patrol. Now you got gorilla glass, Vitus on the front gorilla glass on the back HDR 10, plus 1500 inch brightness and a 120 hertz refresh rate. Now the phone is ip68 dust and water resistant, and it does have support for the stylus aka. The s pen for the processor got the Qualcomm snapdragon 888 with the arena 660 GPU.

Now what does that mean in English flagship, specs, bro flagship specs? Now you got 12 or 16 gigs of ram 128, 256 or 512 gigs of storage, no micro SD card slot for expandable memory. Now it's running android 11 with one UI three for the battery. You got a 5 000 ml battery that features 25 watt fast charging, 15 watt, fast wireless charging and 4.1 4.5 watt power sheet, also known as reverse wireless charging. For the cameras on the rear. You got a quad setup, so you got a 108 megapixel wide angle that features laser.

Autofocus got a 10 megapixel periscope, a 10 megapixel telephoto and a 12 megapixel ultra-wide angle. Now you also get 100 times space zoom or, as I call it, scumbag zoom for the front, camera, 40, megapixel, wide angle, lens and all the cameras shoot.4K video, the rear camera shoots 8k video. Now you got dual stereo speakers tuned by AKG. You got Bluetooth, 5.2 NFC, always on display face unlock on-screen, fingerprint sensor and two of my favorite features on Samsung phones. You got decks and wireless deck support.

So what's missing from my flagship checklist, nothing! What's missing for my petty checklist, no expandable memory, no IR blaster and no headphone jack; that's just whack hashtag bars now for the galaxy s21, basically the same specs, but a little different. Now the s21 comes in four different colors. You got phantom gray phantom white phantom violet and phantom pink now for the display 6.2-inch full HD, like not quad, HD, full HD AMOLED panel, with a resolution of 1080 by 2400, that's 421 for the PPI patrol. You got gorilla glass, Vitus on the front plastic back 1300, nits brightness and a 120 hertz refresh rate. Now I got the same processor.

The equal Qualcomm snapdragon 888, with the 660 GPU same android, 11 same one UI 3. This one comes with 8 gigs of ram 128 or 256, gigs of storage, no micro SD card slot. You got a 4 000 ml battery, same 25, watt, fast charge, 15 watt, fast wireless charge, 4.5 watt power shed. Now the difference is the camera on the rear. You got a triple setup, so you got a 12 megapixel wide angle, 64, megapixel, telephoto, 12, megapixel ultra-wide and on the front you got a 10 megapixel wide angle lens.

All the cameras shoot 4k video, the rear camera also shoots 8k all right. Now that we've got the boring part of the way. Let's get busy. First things. First, shout out to white shoes back in the white building white shoes, calm down, I ride on that pool all right shoes.

I need you to scoot, okay. So, let's start off with the uh, smaller version galaxy s, 21 5g, okay, nice black box dignity. Now, if you notice the box is a little thin because there's no charger included now. I know what you all want me to say, but just chill I just chill wait till I get my full retail version, and I'm going to give y'all of my rants you all already know what I'm thinking, though, all right here we go. Let's open this up.

Okay inside shoes inspect the box. This is going to be your galaxy s21, okay, a little sim card information. Okay. Now this is going to be your sim ejection tool, and you get USB type-c charging cable. Let's just make sure box is trolling me, okay, so USB type-c to USB type-c.

Alright. So if you got a charge at home, make sure it's USB type-c compatible and that's pretty much it. Of course, you got your usual books and plug them and follow them. Okay, right! Let's get this little stick off the back now this is the phantom violet color blue sticker struggles. It's going to wipe down here it is phantom violet! Okay.

So if you notice that's a rose, gold trim blue-black panel, real nice now does have the plastic back. But honestly, you can't even tell that frosted glass that Samsung uses kind of feels exactly like the plastic matter of fact, let me just double-check something real quick. I happen to have a Galaxy Note in my pocket yeah. This might be the new future right here, because the plastic is definitely going to be more durable and as long as it doesn't feel like cheap plastic, why not get plastic, especially if you still get wireless charge? Reverse wireless charge and PowerShell real nice all right, that's the s21! Now for the big boy, let's get everything out the way we got: the Samsung Galaxy s21 ultra five gangster same black box, dignity same thin, black box, all right, so no charger included, say it at home. Let's open this up! Okay, now I was hoping Samsung sent me the silver one, because the one that I pre-ordered for myself is phantom black, but they sent me the plant in black, so we're just going to have to showcase two phantom blacks.

Honestly after seeing this phantom black there's really no other color choice. This is the Wesley snipes black special edition. Look at this matter of fact, let me do smell test. Oh, this is that black. This is that Amistad black give us free.

This is what I'm talking about. Look at this black on black feeling, it quad camera setup. Laser autofocus, let's power, this up an effect, let's power both of these up real quick weight. Wise yeah, like, like I said, a little sticker right, like I said, plastic back versus the glass back yo Samsung is really doing a good job with this plastic back, I'm telling you're not going to notice the difference. If you got a Galaxy Note with the frosted glass back, it's going to feel exactly the same.

I'm impressed doesn't even feel like that glass stick that they were using on some a series- phones that one had a glass look to it, but it still felt a little plastic. This one has a frost glassed, it looks glass, a frost, glass, look to it beautiful, but look at this black bro are you all. Seeing what I'm seeing look at that all right. Let me pause the video I'll grab, some of my other Samsung heavy hitters, and we'll do a little size comparison, and then we'll also briefly, walk through the OS talk amongst yourselves all right. So now, let's do a quick size comparison with some of last year's heavy hitters.

Here's the galaxy s20 is the galaxy s21. Let's see okay, basically, the same height, same width, but honestly all right. Now, I'm being honest right here, you all know I love glass back phones, but this plastic back right here with the frosty feel to it same weight. I think I like this one better because you're getting negative fingerprints, all right, you're, getting reverse fingerprints on this one. Let's keep it moving.

Now, I'm not going to compare all the other phones with these, because chances are if you bought a galaxy s20. That means you, like small phones. So this is your next step up. S21, keep it the same size now, if you're going for the big boy, all right, galaxy, s21, ultra 5 gangsters, his last year's s20, of course way bigger. Now, here's the s20 plus, let's see now believe it or not galaxy s.21 ultra is only a little taller okay, but look at the difference whew that black all right. Let's see, um here's the galaxy s20 fan edition: let's see, okay, a little taller, basically the same width, galaxy s21, ultra five gangsters is definitely a heavy phone, and you can feel that weight next up.

Here's the Galaxy Note 20. , let's see: okay, x21 five gangstas a little taller. Okay, definitely feel that extra weight. Here's the big boy Galaxy Note 20 ultra five gangsters. Let's see now these got to be the same height, okay, basically the same height.

Now the note 20 basically has more of a square feel to it. I love that frosted feel in the back. Look at these. These are two sexy phones right here now, of course, one of the natural upgrades would be if you had last year's galaxy s20 ultra all right. If you had it in Wesley, snapped black look at the difference.

All right now see all that shimmery and that shine. I do love that, but that matte look is just way cleaner. Let's see, basically the same height, same width, laser autofocus, all right now, both of these got the scumbag zoom. Let's hope it works better on this one, though, with the focus issues, let's keep it moving all right. So now, let's just briefly check out some setup process.

On-Screen fingerprint sensor works beautiful, take it over to settings. Let's say you got your power saving mode. You got screen recorder wireless decks. I love that feature. Let's do this real, quick, sound and vibrations.

Sound quality and effects. Okay, Dolby Atmos turn that on different EQ settings, real nice, let's see, let's go to uh connections: okay, VPNs, private DNS, scumbag status on deck, real nice. Let's go to display, activate dark mode, real, real sexy screen mode leave it on vivid. Let's see, motion smoothness, okay, adaptive! This is going to bring you to your 120 hertz, refresh rate, all the way down to 10. , so adaptive means certain apps is going to be smoother certain apps that don't need.

It drops the refresh rate to save battery life. I say battery level w-k-h-w-k-h-d. Why not screen timeout 10 minutes? Of course, let's see navigation bar now, I'm hooked on the gestures. So, let's take it over to the gestures. Okay, let's see anything else, let's see um yeah.

I got seen this set up a thousand times. Let's go to advanced features to see if we got anything new, all right, Samsung, DEX, all right s: pen, oh okay. Let's check that real, quick. Let's check the s pen and see if it works using the new galaxies. Okay, it actually feels like a note.

It would have been nice if it had a little slot on the bottom. Let's see what young buck crying about now. Okay, let's see. Okay, oh check this out. All your s pen features.

Now you got the s pen, plus the super s pen coming out soon. You know we got to get that one! Let's go to our screen right: okay, screen right on deck: let's see, let's go to uh: let's go to create a note, nice shoes. What are you doing? Call mike all right? Seven, three, four! Seven! Do to imagine a number yourself now, I'm not going to put a real number, because some of you all actually called that number. You know what's funny. I used an imaginary number and the person whose number it was like bro.

Could you make up a new number mad people calling you from the video wow all right shoes, I'm gonna play with you in a second all right, so basically the s pen does work all right? I'm going to keep this video short and sweet galaxy. I shoot you you're sitting on the product, galaxy s20, uh, s21, ultra 5, gangster galaxy, s20 5g. What am I saying? Let's try that again: galaxy s21 5g galaxy s, ultra 5g. This is the new big boy on the block so far fresh out of the blocks. First out of the box, not the blocks fresh out of the box.

I was concerned with the plastic back, but I'm actually feeling this one. I can't wait to see the s20 plus s21 plus all right. Furthermore, I can't wait to see that one, but this one right here, all right. The s21 ultra do you think, do you think s21 ultra so far fresh out of the box? This is a major major major goal. Let's take a look at the shoes, don't I got to save this.

Let's take a look at the camera, real, quick. I shoe. Let's see that automatic macro lens see how that picture. Looks real, quick, okay, look at the detail! Look at them! Whiskers! Look at that display, though basically bezel-less, just that little camera punch hold on the front. I'm feeling that, let's see, if I could um get a real one, let's see, let's do uh now it says you could do portrait modes.

Let's see, let's do uh portrait mode. Let's do a cat portrait nice shoes there. It is you know when you wanted to do something, then she doesn't want to do it. Let's see how this looks. Okay, look at that.

Oh, this is kind of dope. Let's see change background effect, you can add more blur or less blur. Oh, look at the difference in the blur. Let me get that out of there. You see the background.

Add a nice amount of blur. I should beat it nice amount of blood in this one real nice all right anyway. This is gonna, be a community review all right. All right, you can put this on your keychain. Put it around your cat's neck, your dog's neck, anything that you lose all the time you can use the smart tag to find it.

Now I'm going to set this up, I'm going to put on my car keys, I'm going to deliberately try to lose my keys in the house somewhere and see how this actually works.
