Welcome back everyone to another video: this is, will p, and I'm here with the unboxing of the Samsung Galaxy s 21. This is the smallest and cheapest member of the new lineup. I have already unboxed the plus version, go and check that out in the channel. This phone is 200 euros cheaper than the plus model, so it starts around 880 euros in Europe. This version comes with 128, gigabytes of storage and eight gigabytes of ram, and this is the phantom pink color. You can also go with phantom gray white or violet no charging adapter in the box for this one as well.
That is why the box is much smaller than what it used to be now, let's go and unbox this phone and I will be doing some speed tests for these 21 series. Phones make sure you subscribe. If you don't want to miss them now, let's see what do we get inside the box so just like the s21 plus, we only get the sim ejection tool here and also some paperwork and the USB type-c charging cable that comes inside the box. So of course no charging adapter. Now, let's put all of these aside and have a look at the phone, so this phone comes with the snapdragon 888 in us, but here in Europe we get it with the Enos version, which is Enos 2100.
If you're in us, you're lucky that you can get the snapdragon, the display is 6.2 inches. It is smaller than the 6.7 inch display on the plus version, except the size of the display. They are very similar in terms of specs. The main difference between this one and the s21 plus is mainly the size. The battery capacity and the material used to build the phone s21 is much smaller, and it fits your hand nicely.
It is easier to hold and to work with, I quite like the size of the phone for the material. Here we have glass on front and a metal body, but in the back we have plastic. While on the plus version we have glass on the front and back and metal for the frame. The build quality is good, but I'm not happy with the material used to build the phone, especially I'm talking about the back of the phone. I can see that some YouTubers are trying to push the idea that using plastic in phones with this price is okay and plastic is good, it's durable and all those stuff, but I think no, it's not okay.
There is a fine line between these materials and how they affect the category. A phone should sit in and be priced anyhow. This is the pink color. The pink color is a bit washed out, or it is light pink. I would say I expected the color to be a bit more vibrant, but it's not.
The frame. Color is really nice, it's better than what you see on the photos, but the color on the back looks better on the photos compared to what I see here, and definitely the feeling of holding the phone is different from the plus version in terms of material used but anyways. If you're getting a case for your phone, that shouldn't be a matter for you and the camera module looks very similar on both two devices. It's the new design that Samsung has introduced this year, and I like it. I think it's its good.
Now, let's go and put the device up, so here we have it. The phone is ready. The screen is very good. It's bright, it's sharp, and the colors are punchy very similar to the plus version. It comes with uh android, 11 out of the box and the one UI 3.1, just like the other s21 series phones. Furthermore, it has much smaller battery uh compared to the plus version, so this one has four thousand milliampere compared to 4800 on the s21 plus.
So here you can see them side by side. The display on both are identical and look very same. I just feel the s20 plus is a bit brighter, but in practice it shouldn't be as they both should top 1 300 nits and giving you the same performance and brightness. They are very similar. Anyhow, that's it for now.
If you have any question or if you disagree with anything, I said feel free to write them in the comments, and I try to answer your question and also have a discussion about our disagreements, thanks for watching and until the next one.
