Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra vs S10 Plus - Speed Test By Android Addicts

Hi guys its John from Android addicts with a speed test comparison between the galaxy s, 20 ultra and the galaxy s 10 plus. So here on the Left. We have the s20 ultra with the X nos 990, CPU, and here on the right. We have the galaxy s 10 plus with the x9 820. Now both of these are 8 core CPUs running at two point: seven, three gigahertz s. Twenty ultra on the left has the Mongoose m5 where's, the s 10 plus on the right has the Mongoose m4.

We have eight gigs of ram over here.12 gigs of ram over here, and the storage, which is quite important, is OF s 3.0 on the s20 ultra and OF s, 2.1 on the s 10 plus now. The reason that's important is that the more modern version OF s 3.0- should be a lot quicker reading and writing than the S 10 fuss. Obviously, the proof is in the testing so going to run through these apps quickly or just see which one's load up quicker, I'm, just going to clear everything out of memory here, so everything's out of memory they're both running it quad HD resolution, that's 4k, and we'll just see how they get on. So we'll start off with the clock, and we'll just kick that off then we're just laid into our first game: that's online! These are both set to the high quality graphics package and yes, 20 help should just about wend. So, let's just start the game up, and we'll see which actually gets into the game quicker now, interestingly, as 10-plus has now actually taken over from the s20 on track.

So let's go back to the home, and we'll move into the next game, which is blooms tower defense. Six next up, we just have the calculator, so we'll just put a few random numbers in there. This is quite a big one say be interesting to see which one wins this one now originally fortnight was optimized fully for the s10 plus, so I don't believe it's fully optimized with yes 20 ultra sorts of interesting to see what happens here. The other difference here is in the quality of the graphics. Here you can only set it as high and on the s10 plus you can set it to the epic mode, so we'll just come out over there. Next up is subway, surfers, Minecraft, no flex crime, video pump, G mobile, just about quick on the s20 ultra this time: okay, Reddit SoundCloud, speediest, Spotify and last but not least, Jumanji epic run just about the s20 ultra. So now we're just going to check the memory to see whether things actually closed down or not from the task manager. In the background, so we'll go back to the stopwatch.

As well pub G we're still there on the s20 ultra Reddit, still there and in the right location on the s20 ultra and here, although it has gone back to the right location, it did take a lot longer to load up SoundCloud again, that's here the right direction here, but on the s10 plus, it has actually reloaded speed, test related on the s10 plus Spotify. It certainly didn't reload, but it did have a popper message, which is a bit annoying and Jumanji happy one okay.

So, interestingly, it looks like most. The games were just about held into memory on the s20 ultra, but there were also times when the s10 plus kept things in memory, which the s2000 didn't, so I'll say. The overall winner is probably going to be the s10 plus here. I was quite surprised at how slow the s20 ultra was in comparison really I know this has had a year's worth of updates and refinements, and it certainly had games tweaked specifically for it, which the s20 ultra hasn't yet. So it's not exactly fair to compare directly, but in this case we are going to, and I'm going to give this win to the s10 plus.

So there we are that's the end of the test. I hope you found it useful, there's not a huge amount of difference to be honest between the two phones. What this keeps in its memory, sometimes this one doesn't and vice versa, say: they're quite interchangeable. To be honest, the s10 plus is still holding up as an amazing phone for gaming, and you know multitasking. So is that worth the upgrade to the s20 I'd say? Probably not unless you know your contracts come to an end, and you are going to get a new phone anyway.
