And, what's going on everyone, Josh Canyon is here, and today we're going to be doing a quick comparison between the brand new Samsung Galaxy s, 20 ultra and the Galaxy Note 10.1 on a daily basis. I absolutely love it, but we got a new beast in town, the s20 ultra, so we're going to do a quick comparison between the two first starting with size. So, as you can see just at a glance they kind of look like they would be the same size as each other, but if I go ahead and hold them both up to each other, as you can see there, the galaxy s, 20 Ultra, is just a little taller than the Galaxy Note 10. It actually still feels good in the hands. It doesn't feel super huge I mean it does feel a little big, but it's not overbearing. Now.
The one thing you can't tell when it comes to size is the thickness. It does look a little thicker than the Galaxy Note tended still feels good in the hands and I think it's because the rounded corners that we have compared to the more squarish corners that we have on the Galaxy Note templates. This has more of a candy bar shape, I would say, and, like I said, this one has more of a rounded shape when it comes to the corners and then when we go to the pack. Looking at the camera modules, this one is obviously a lot bigger than what we have on the Galaxy Note.10, this camera is a beast, no matter which one you use, especially when it comes to that 100 times zoom when we're testing it out earlier today, and it actually works perfect. It's really.
It's actually really amazing that they were able to put a camera like that in to a small device like this, but when it comes to the cameras on both of these, both are vertical. Obviously, the one on the Galaxy Note in + is a lot smaller. A lot thinner and I got to say the one on the s20 ultra is a lot thinner. It does pop out a lot more than what we have on the Galaxy Note 10 plus. So you might want to keep that in mind.
If you don't like camera modules, sticking out too much, then this might be a little too much for you, I mean honestly I. Don't think it looks that bad at all. Actually, I do like the look of it. I just think it does pop out a little, but obviously, when you put a case on it, the case will hide that bump. Like say a case from our sponsors of this video subcase.
Let me go ahead, throw this on right here and look at that that hides the bump from the camera. It even gives you a little of a lip to protect that camera. In case you happen to drop it on its back also gives you a lip on the top and at the bottom, but for a phone like this, you do want to make sure that you keep it protected because you don't want to break it. So why not check out some cases from our sponsors subcase subcase is a case manufacturer that makes some great protective smartphone cases their award-winning unicorn beetle pro and their unicorn beetle style have done great in the mini drop test. I've done before.
So you can definitely count on these to protect your new as twenty devices and I will be doing a drop test with these cases and one of the new S 20 devices so make sure you stay tuned for that in a future video and if you'd like to join a giveaway. That subcase is having for the new Galaxy S 20 ultra I'll leave a link down in the description below with an exclusive code that will get you 50 entries, so make sure to check out our sponsors with the links below and keep your new device protected. So a huge thanks to subcase for sponsoring this video. Now when we go to the displays, both are very beautiful, displays I, always say this in every video that I make about Samsung devices. Samsung never disappoints when it comes to the display of their devices.
Colors pop everything's, nice and vibrant crisp and clear I, absolutely love the displays that they put into these devices. Now when it comes to the performance of both of them, at least when it comes to smoothest both run just as smooth as the other. You really can't go wrong with either one of these devices the new S 20 ultra. They really did a good job with this one, but the note 10, plus is no slouch later on. I will be doing an official speed test between the two to see which one is faster when opening certain apps when doing certain things on the device to really see which device is the fastest but just kind of using it like this really quick, they both seem just as smooth both snappy, both super smooth.
Let's go ahead and open up the camera. Let me take a quick picture with both of them. I'll go ahead and take a picture of the cases right here, just a really quick shot. Let's see: okay, first one boom. Alright, let's go ahead and try it out with the note 10 plus there we go boom, alright, lets kind of see which one looks better.
So if I hold them both like this, let's see looking at both of them. Alright, the s2000 ultra. Definitely has the note, m+ and beat you probably can't tell on camera here, but this one just looks like it focused a lot better on the cases itself. There's a lot of detail in that photo, no matter how much I zoom in look at that. So definitely the camera is going to be boss on this.
I can't wait to do a full camera review and really put it to the test. You guys know me: I am all about the cameras when it comes to smartphone, so definitely make sure you subscribe, so you don't miss out on any of those camera reviews or comparisons between both of these devices and even with the s10 plus. Now, when it comes to the power button, both are on opposite sides, it's basically the same setup with the volume rockers and the power button, just on opposite sides. Now it's going to be hard going from the no tenth plus to the s20 ultra for me, when it comes to using these volume rockers in the power button, because at first when I had the galaxy s, 10 plus the buttons were all here, and I was so used to that. But when I changed to the note, 10 plus I had to get used to this setup.
So when I use my s10 plus I'm, always accidentally hitting that big speed button. So now they move the buttons again to the opposite side on the s20 ultra. So I'm going to have to get used to the buttons over here instead of on this side, but I am loving. Both of these devices like I, said I'm, definitely going to be spending a lot of time with the s20 ultra to really do a full, in-depth review, and let you guys know how good it is, how the performance is the camera, everything about it in a full review. Let you guys know how I like it, but either way you can't go wrong with either one of these devices like I, said this was just a quick comparison.
You all, let me know what you think down in the comments sections below. Do you prefer the note over the s20 ultra the new S 20 ultra, or do you prefer the new device over the little older Galaxy Note in plus, because remember this one also has an S Pen with all the cool features that come with it that this device does not have? So if you really feel that you need that S Pen and you want all of those features, then I recommend you do get the note 10 plus device, but you all. Let me know your thoughts down in the comment sections below. Thank you so much for watching make sure to LIKE this video.
