Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G - "Real Review" By Flossy Carter

Yo, what's up everybody? It's your boy floss back again with another video, and today we're going to take a look at the Samsung Galaxy. S20 fan edition 5g. Now you can pick this one up from Samsung or Amazon I'll, throw the links up in the description, the price on this one 700 bucks. Now it comes in six different colors. You got cloud navy, red white, mint, lavender and orange all right. So let's go through all the specs for the display.

You got a 6.5 inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1080 by 2400. Now that's 407 for the PPI patrol. You got gorilla glass 3 on the front. You got a polycarbonate back, it's ip68 dust and water resistant. Furthermore, you got HDR, 10 plus, and a 120 hertz refresh rate for the processor, got the Qualcomm snapdragon 865 with the arena 650 GPU.

What does that mean in English flagship, specs, bro flagship specs? Now you got six gigs of ram 128, gigs of storage and a micro SD card slot for expandable memory up to one terabyte. Now the phone is running android 10 with Samsung one UI 2.5 skin. On top, you got a 4500mah battery that features 25 watt fast charging wireless charging and power share, also known as reverse wireless charge. For the cameras on the rear. You got a triple setup, so you got a 12 megapixel wide angle, a 12 megapixel ultra-wide and an 8 megapixel telephoto lens on the front.

You got a 32, megapixel wide angle lens. Now the phone does reach 30 times, scumbag zoom we'll talk about that. In a minute. Now you got dual stereo speakers tuned by AKG, Bluetooth, 5.0 NFC. You got an always on display, face unlock on-screen, fingerprint sensor, wireless Samsung, deck support and three years of guaranteed OS updates all right.

So all that for 700 bucks what's missing now Samsung is calling this. The fan edition, there's a few things missing all right now I will say this: they did rectify two of my gripes from the original s20 series, which was number one. The price I had the original s20 started at 1 000 bucks that was too goddamn high 700 bucks. I like that. That's savings and number two color choices.

Now, with the original s20 series, you only had a few different color choices. Now you got six beautiful color choices, not a side. Note! That's one thing that I don't like right. Samsung, I don't understand: why do they give the peasant phones all the beautiful colors? And when you buy the gangster phones, you only get one or two colors. You buy a thirteen hundred dollar galaxy.

Note you buy two thousand dollar galaxy z42. You only get two color choices with that so Samsung. I don't like that. You should have all the color choices for the big boy. Phones and the peasant phones give them two or three color choices.

Now, when I say peasant, I mean that in the nicest possible way, hashtag peasants unite. So what would make this a true fan edition? For me, quad HD display a glass back IR blaster and a headphone jack. Those are the four things that's missing. That would make this my total fan edition, but for 700 bucks we're not going to complain all right. So let's unbox this and see what it is.

Now the side note, if you go on Amazon right now, you can find the original s20 for 670 bucks.

Now I'll tell you all the differences in a minute. Next up we got the galaxy s20 plus versus the fan edition. Let's see now, the s20 plus might be a little taller, but basically the same height and the same width. Now we got the big boy s20 ultra, let's see. Okay, now the s20 ultra is definitely taller and a little wider.

Okay, now Galaxy Note 20. Now both of these have the same polycarbonate back, which I will say, Samsung did a great job on this. It doesn't feel like cheap plastic. Has a nice feel to it. Let's see all right.

The note 20 is a tiny bit taller right, tiny bit taller, but 700 bucks versus a thousand bucks do the math yourself, and we got the big boy Galaxy Note: 20, ultra here's your fan edition. Let's see no 20 ultra little taller a little taller, basically the same with beast budget, all right so just in case you're wondering what's the better buy between the fan edition and the original s20. In my personal opinion, I think it's the s20, but let's break it down. What's the difference, first, the price. Now the fan edition starts at 700 bucks.

The original s20 started at 1 000 bucks, but as of today, you can find the s20 on Amazon I'll leave the link-up in the description for 672 bucks, so it's actually cheaper than the fan edition. Next, the display. Now, with the fan edition, you got a 6.5-inch full HD panel with gorilla glass 3 for protection with the original s20, you got a 6.2-inch quad HD panel with gorilla glass 6 for protection. So not only is the s20 cheaper you're getting a quad HD display with better gorilla glass protection. Now both of these are ip68 dust and water resistant next ram.

Now, with the fan edition, you got six gigs of ram with the s20. You got eight gigs of ram, so now you're getting more ram with the original s20, but here's another difference battery. Now, with the fan edition, you got a 4500 ml battery with the original s20. You got a 4000mah battery, so if you're looking for better battery life, then go with the fan edition next build quality. Now, with the fan edition, you got the polycarbonate back, also known as plastic with the original s20.

You got the glass back. So if you're looking for more durability, go with the fan edition, if you're looking for more of a luxuriousness go with the s20 and lastly, the camera. Now, with the fan edition on the red, you got the triple camera setup, so 12, 12 and 8, with 32 megapixels on the front on the s20. You got a better camera on the back triple camera status, but it's 12 12 and 64. , and you got a 10 megapixel camera in the front.

Arguably, the original s20 camera is going to be better. So, overall, you can spend an extra couple of bucks, even though the phone is going to be a little smaller, but to me, it's a better buy, but if you're looking for more durability and better battery life go with the fan edition, all right joshes will be back in first, let's check two important features: number one wireless charge: okay, no problems with that and let's check PowerShell now to activate wireless power, share you're gonna, go to your toggles turn on wireless PowerShell. It definitely doesn't feel cheap.

On the back of the phone. There's your triple camera setup. On one side you got power button volume up and down on the top got a sensor sim tray on the other side, nice and clean on the bottom speaker, grille, USB type-c charging slot and another mic. That's pretty much it on the front facing camera, and there you have it little Samsung. Branding on the back now check this out, always on display.

Samsung makes one of the always best on displays in the game. I got a picture of white shoes, but you can do whatever you want a couple of different ways. You can open up the device. Like you swipe up put in your pattern in your pin. You got your on-screen fingerprint sensor which works flawlessly.

Furthermore, you also got Samsung kids, all right. So if you've got a bunch of kids, and you're doing scumbag activities on your phone and your kids want to play with your phone quickly. Activate Samsung kids then give it to them all right. Don't scar them for life. Take it over to settings connections, so you got NFC and payments.

You got VPNs and private DNS for your legal streaming activities. Let's go to sound and vibrations. Let's go to volume, all right: dual stereo speakers, nice and loud. Of course, we're going to do an official, sound test, let's see anything else, sound quality and effects all right, Dolby Atmos got an equalizer normal pop classic jazz, rock and custom. If you put it on custom, you know me, I, like mid, AIDS low, I like the highest highs and lows medium mid.

Now you can change your grid layouts, you can add your apps button or no app drawer immediately add apps to the home screen. I like that, rotate to landscape mode. This way when you're in your car- and you got your phone on the dock, if you're not driving an Uber, there's no reason for your phone to be like this all right. Now I can't go back to the three buttons I'm used to the'm used to the gestures now got touch sensitivity, always on display blah blah blah.

Let's see anything else lock screen. Okay, let's see now this is going to be your clock styles, for your always on displays. Let's go to biometrics and security. Face unlock, got your fingerprint sensor and, of course you got your smart lock. You got your secure folders.

That's your thought! Protection! Let's go to uh advanced features. Okay, let's see smart pop-ups now, look smart, pop-ups! Basically to me, I get too many notifications, so it gets annoying. But if you want to, you can have smart pop-ups I'll leave one on so this way. I already know for a fact during the course of this video: let's see I'll, probably get a YouTube I'll, probably get a Gmail I'll leave those on. So when it happens, I'll show you what it is.

Basically, it's just a pop-up. You can interact with your message from a pop-up. Let's see you got the screenshots of screen recorders. Let's see, motions and gestures, alright so or wake the device double tap to awake the device smart stay when you activate that as long as you're looking at the phone, the display will stay on smart alert. If you have your phone on vibrate, smart alert means soon.

As you pick up your phone it'll vibrate to let you know that you missed an alert, easy mute cover up the phone palm swipe. The capture go like this for your screenshots bomb. Just like that. Let's see where it was we and swipe the same calls. Now from your call log swipe to the right.

You can send that person a message swipe to the left, immediately. Call them you all know we went through these plenty of times. You got dual messengers for your scumbags. Do your thing, digital well-being, all right! If you find yourself online all at a time sometimes check your digital well-being, you might have to take a break and jump out in the real world and of course you got your parental controls. So if you don't want it now, Samsung kids is for you.

This is like say: you got your phone, and you want to give it to a kid parental controls. This is, if you're buying this phone for a little kid before you give it to them. Activate parental controls, track them and monitor their scumbag activities because, like I always say, little kids are scumbags too. I don't discriminate, accessibility, all right, so you got all your hearing. If you're hearing or visually impaired, all the settings on deck will turn on flash notifications.

So that's pretty dope and of course you got video stabilization. Let's go over the camera, real quick go to settings and, of course, let's see shutter sound all right for your clandestine photos. Make sure you turn the set of sound off. Make sure you turn the shutter sound off, say that fast turn the shutter sound off.
