Hey, what is going on everybody, so today I thought I would unbox and give you a quick hands-on of the Samsung silicon cover for the all-new galaxy, s20, Fe and Fe 5g. Now, if you follow my channel, you know that I typically prefer Samsung's leather covers, but it does not appear as though they are offering the leather covers, for this particular device, of course, just released recently various us carriers as well as unlocked. This is, of course, the navy blue version and the silicon cover comes in navy, blue and in white. I don't know if they'll be adding additional colors, but that's what's available on the Samsung website. As of now so you've got your typical Samsung packaging for their cases. It says silicone cover on the front, it says Samsung and on the bottom it gives you the phone model on the back.
It says silicon cover non-slip phone protection, ultra slim and some other information. So let's get this started here, see if I can open it up with my hands or if I need a knife- and it looks like my hands were enough. So, let's see how easily this slips out, you have a little pull tab here on the bottom and there you go very, very easy. So here's the cover and a cardboard box right inside it, and it comes with some information. A very small booklet here won't go through that.
I think we all know what to do with the phone case, and I do believe that nothing else comes inside this packaging. No, so here's the case uh. It is a soft rubbery silicon, and you can kind of flex it on some areas: uh, where the buttons are it's a little softer the rest of it quite uh, quite rigid and hard there, so on the back, only some subtle, Samsung branding on the bottom, of course, the cutout for the camera housing on the right side of the case power, button volume rocker on the left side, nothing, it is flush. On the top. You have a cutout for your noise-canceling mic, no cut out for the sim tray and micro SD tray.
Of course, you'd have to take the case off. If you are going to change your sim card or add a micro, SD or move, it got a little sticker here that I will remove and on the inside. It just feels like a plastic finish in here, not necessarily soft to the touch, but not too rigid. You see if I scratch it, you can hear it and let's see how this all fits, give my phone a quick little wipe down on all sides and edges and boom fits right in on the bottom. You see that it is cut out here, so it is showing it is exposing the bottom of the phone.
Of course, you have protections protection on the corners, but you've got to cut out there for your main mic for your USB-C port and for your speaker grille. So you see the uh navy blue here contrasts nicely it's its two different shades of blue: it's a darker metallic blue on the aluminum frame of the phone and, of course, a little lighter. It's already attracting a little of dust here. I've got the sun shining through the windows, so that is going to tend to pick up and show very quickly, but that is standard for these silicone cases. It uh it feels like it is.
Holding the phone very, very well feels like you're, going to get some pretty decent protection with this, and it's a pretty stylish case. Navy blue is kind of an in color this season, so uh it's going to turn heads, but not too much. I think people will have to really look to notice your phone uh, but they will notice that nice, navy, color and let's see here fingerprint sensor, opens up just fine. We've got your power button on the side, press that very click and tactile I'll press. It again unlocks the phone.
Very good volume rocker, as you can see it is very click, works perfectly. Well everything works as it should. You see. The cutouts are perfect there on this on the top as well, and I actually like that the cover is exposed on the bottom. I know some people don't like that.
I just think it adds a nice touch, and I know this is a very premium finish with this aluminum chassis. So I like to show a little of that in the cases. Let's also check out how this silicone cover in navy blue would look on the white Samsung Galaxy s20, Fe 5g. I prefer the white color as compared to the navy. I've had both for several days now got the navy one first from T-Mobile, and then this white unlocked one arrived from Samsung.
Furthermore, I just think it looks more premium and the back picks up fewer fingerprints uh or that the fingerprints and the dust show up a lot less on the white backing, and it looks less plastic to be completely honest with you anyway. Let's see, listen. The navy blue is very, very nice, and if you pick that one, I'm sure you'll be happy with it, I think it's an it's a really nice phone, but let's also see how this phone looks with the white. So I will slip it in here and, of course automatically. You can already see that there is a thin silver ring around the front where you didn't really notice that with the navy blue- and I think it looks pretty cool, it's a nice little contrast and on the bottom, the navy, blue silicon cover and contrast with that silver metal chassis, I think, looks great and even on the back.
This looks really, really awesome that aluminum ring around the camera. Housing couldn't really uh, couldn't really see that that doesn't stand out much when its navy blue on navy blue, even though it was two different shades of blue, and I think this looks really, really nice. So if you have the white one, if you're going with the white s20 Fe um, I say you go with the navy silicon cover, if you're deciding between the navy cover and the white cover, just because it offers a nice little contrast. If you perhaps you know, want to switch up the color of your phone for a day. You know one day you can rock it without a case.
Another day you could throw on the navy blue silicone cover. So anyway, I just want to show you what the cover looks like on a second color of this phone. So that's about it uh if you've got any questions. Let me know this is the Samsung silicon cover for the galaxy s20 Fe at Fe 5g, you can get them on the Samsung website, I'm not sure if it's available on Amazon, but if it is I'll, throw a link in the description for you with the latest price and that's about it. Thanks guys, you.
