What's up everyone welcome back to the channel. So, as you guys know, you probably haven't even heard about this. The Samsung Galaxy S 10a liked actually just got announced today by Samsung. Now it's not officially released yet. So this is just a quick in paraffin and the main differences between the galaxy s 10 and the S 10 light and seeing whether you should pick it up with you shouldn't I, don't know, and the price point still hasn't been released yet for the s10 light. But if I had to say I'll probably say it's around $4.99 a little cheaper than galaxy s, 10 II, but it has been verified yet once that actually comes out, I'll leave it in the description below. So you guys can check it out there and see the price of it.
But it's kind of where that Samsung has released the s 10 light when we're so close to this 11 release, which doesn't really make much sense to me. But really I want to compare it to the galaxy s 10 and see what the main differences are. Like I said now, looking at the front, what's fascinating is that the screen sizes are actually really, really different. The galaxy s 10 has a 6.1 inch, dynamic, AMOLED display that one is 1440p. It was a very good panel, it's literally one of my favorite panels in any phone, but that has 10 light actually has a bigger display.
This one is six point, seven inches. However, it is not 1440p, it is only 1080p, which is still a very good panel. It's still Super AMOLED, with this Infinity hole display, which is nice apparently from the pictures it looks like it has a little of a thicker bezel which isn't that big of a deal, but now that hole-punch display is now in the center, which is really cool. I like seeing that a lot also looking at the back, you can see really, really different camera modules. They both have triple camera setups, but, as you can see, with the s10 light, it looks way cooler in a way.
I think it looks fascinating, and this is definitely the approach the s11 is going to take as well and what's funny is that no 10 light also looks pretty much the exact same way, except with the s-pen, but the way the cameras are set up, the Samsung Galaxy S 10 and the main one had two 12 megapixel sensors and a 16 megapixel sensor, but the galaxy s 10 light has a 5 megapixel macro lens of 48, megapixel, wide-angle lens and then a 12 megapixel ultra light sensors. So a little of a different setup without a wide angle lens. You do have a higher megapixel count, but that doesn't necessarily mean the photos will be better. You know that's all pretty much congruent to the camera lenses themselves and also the software in a lot of that I, don't think I mean I had the galaxy 830 that one had like a 48 megapixel, whatever sensor camera that was, and the photos on that weren't nearly as good as the galaxy s 10 OZ, so the 10 will still probably have the better camera module overall in terms of performance and everything they both have outscore CPUs. They both will pretty much have the same processors.
However, the Galaxy S 10 base model has 8 gigabytes of RAM. The Galaxy has 10 life. Space model has 6 gigabytes of RAM. You can option out with the 8 gigabyte of RAM optional, which is bigger, but with the base model, you do have a little of difference right there now the biggest difference, which is really, really interesting. That Samsung would do this for the light model, for the cheaper model is that the Galaxy S 10 light has a 4,500 million by row battery with in it where these Samsung Galaxy s 10 only had a 34 hundred million power battery.
Now both batteries are great, even the s tends battery life. Wasn't that bad. However, the S 10 light actually has the way bigger over a thousand Elvira increase from the s 10 we're still unsure if it's going to get reversed, while it's charging or anything like that, but that's still a pretty crazy thing that that phone of the cheaper model and cheaper you know device overall has the bigger battery. We usually don't see that, so that's a really cool thing right there and those are really the main differences. Really the main things same amount of cameras, I think quality will still be better on the S 10 bigger screen on the S 10 light way, bigger battery on the S 10 light, which means we're going to have a pretty good phone coming up whenever this phone is officially released.
We don't know what markets it's going to be in. We don't even know what the price point is yet, but those are some main key differences between these two phones.
