What's happening everyone, my name is Alex and welcome back to a new speed test. Today we have the Samsung Galaxy, S 10 and the wall we made 20 pro now for specs. We have the Snapdragon 855 and a gig of ram for the Samsung Galaxy s. Then, lets for the wall we made 20 pro. We have the Karin 980 and 6 gigs of ram. Now both devices are running Android 9.
So throughout this video we are gonna check out the benchmark, results and see which device gets some higher scores. After that, we are going to check out and see which device has a faster fingerprint scanner. After that we are going to do a bit of video editing and once that's done, we're gonna start opening the exact same apps at the exact same time, so you can see which device is faster once we're done with that. We are also going to check out and see what happen to all those apps running in the background, starting with the benchmark results well under an tutu benchmark. We get the score about three hundred and forty, two thousand for the Samsung Galaxy s 10 and three hundred and three thousand four of the whoa.
Furthermore, we made 20 prompt moving on to the dig bench for well the multi-core score on the Samsung Galaxy s.10 is also higher, but the single core score is higher. On the wall. We made 20, prompt and I guess. Next we can move to the fingerprint scanner and see which device is faster for that all right. So the fingerprint scanner just aren't positioned in the exact same spot, but if I touch on the screens, I can basically see where they are, so I'm going to try touching them at the same time.
So let me slow that down for you, and it looks like the war we made.20 Pro was a bit faster for that one. So I think we're gonna. Try that one more time, just in case I press that the fingerprint scan around wrong or something like that, so we'll touch this, so I can see what the fingerprint scanner is, and we'll try touching them at the same time. Once again, so it looks like the war we made twenty pros faster once again, so let me slow that down for you so yeah. The war we made 20 Pro was faster once again, and I also want to try the same test, but this time around with the screens on, so I'm going to turn the screens on this way.
I can see the fingerprint scanners now try touching them on a day exact same time. So let's try doing this. So let me slow that down for you and if you click the Samsung Galaxy S 10 was a bit faster for that one, and I'm gonna. Try doing that one last time, just to make sure all right, so I lock the screens I'm going to turn them back on both devices, and I'll. Try patching the fingerprint scans and let me slow that down for you, and it looks like the Samsung Galaxy S stenos a bit faster.
So basically, when the screen is off the wall, we made 20 Pro unlock faster, but when the screen is on the Samsung Galaxy S, then we'll unlock faster. Next, we are moving on to some video editing, so I have the exact same app installed on both devices. I'm going to open. That I'll also show you that I don't have any apps running in the background. So that's the only app of running in the background or actually close it and upstart it once again.
So now, I don't have any apps running in the background for either device. So we'll open that app again I'll load the exact same file, I downloaded the exact same file. Is this one right here so load that, and we'll press done so preparing video? So the way we made 20 Pro was a bit faster for that one. We're going to click on trim on both devices, and we're going to make this video up. Let's say 10 seconds long, so we'll do it 10 seconds on this form, so about 1003, and I'll.
Try making it the exact same length on this one? Okay, that's 1008, so a bit of a difference, but it shouldn't matter that much so press the greener thing and I think the way we made 20 Pro was a bit faster for that. Alright. So we're going to press next and filters will add this filter, I guess on both of them and then a lot one of these. So let's say the classic one: perfect and I guess now we'll export on the video so go to advanced on both 1080p for both, and we're going to save it to gallery so the Samsung Galaxy S 10 was faster at exporting the video, but only by a couple of seconds so for the video editing test. Basically the Samsung Galaxy S then wasn't a bit faster, alright, so I guess now we can start opening the exact same apps at the exact same time, so we're going to start the Facebook app.
It was maybe a bit faster on the s 10, maybe next to learn open the Play Store kind of at the same time, I'm gonna, say next, we'll open pop G. It did start a bit faster on the wall. We made 20 Pro, but let's see which device actually starts the game on sooner so still waiting. I think the ball we made 20 Pro will be in the fast run for this game yeah. So the war we made 20 probes was on the faster one for this particular game, all right, so we're going to exit this game, we'll leave it running in the background.
Next we have the Twitter app. So though we made 20 prompted the load on everything a bit faster. We leave that running. In the background you open Chrome. Now thanks it was kind of the same time, but we'll see which one opens up the article faster, so I think it was the one we made 20 product open that article a bit faster.
Next, we have temple run kind of at the same time. So, let's press new game. Well, the s10 froze I. Guess, let's press new game again? Well, this one doesn't do anything anymore. Okay, so I guess we'll just leave that game like that crying in the background as it is next we'll go to Snap seed I think the Esther knows a bit faster.
Maybe pull select a random picture, the same picture basically, and we'll just leave that running in the background next time we're going to the YouTube app, so it did load a bit faster on the wall. We made 20 Pro and I guess we can start this video right here so leave that running in the background as well and next we have the DJI Go app I think it was a bit faster on the S than + just a bit faster. So long go back and leave this running in the background as well. So now, I want to see what happened to all those apps that we have running in the background. So start the video shop app so in the exact same spot, moving onto Facebook same spot, the Play Store same spot, pub, Jean same spot, Twitter same spot, chrome, same spot, Temple, Run, I, guess same spot, Snap seed same spot YouTube and the exact same place and the DJI Go app.
So in the exact same place. So these two devices are very, very close: I mean for some apps. This one was faster and for some apps this one was faster. So I can't really say that one is faster than the other one, so definitely very, very close in performance, or I guess um. Hopefully you liked this video.
If you did like it, press that, like button, don't forget, subscribe, and I'll, see you in the next one thanks for watching.
