Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G - Unboxing and First Impressions By AndroidStud

I'm going to shine up my new note, 20 ultra that camera hump is its pretty damn big pause. What's up, buddy people android stud here, and the beast has arrived, that's right, Samsung's latest and greatest note: 20, ultra 5g beast. This is the mystic black, that's right, the mystic black! It also comes in Mr bronze and that mystic white that just looks so fresh and so clean, but this is the black, so you're going to have to sit back and enjoy as we take this ride together. Now this has all the big boy. Specs 6.9 inch display huge 108 megapixel camera on one of the lenses in the back 12 gigabytes of ram 45 William battery. But let's go ahead and take a look at this puppy.

We will cut open the box for you because I know that's what you want to see. You don't want to hear me talk you want to see. You're like stud. Just show us the phone man, that's what we want to see and there she is. You get some.

Let's see what you get on this side. Probably the sim. You get all your uh paperwork there sim tool there, so you can change your uh pin there, and then you get the mystic black. Look at that camera bump huh you're going to have to get a lens protector for the back and also definitely for the for the front, because if you don't, you're going to mess that bad boy up, but this is just that's- not bad. Looking pretty stealth, let's see how it competes against the white because, like I said, the white is nice, but that black ain't bad what you get in the box.

You get that fast charger here. I believe uh high-powered 25 wall chargers, and then you get your type c cable. Now this year, there's no headphone jack party people. No, I mean no headphone jack no headphones. So if you were expecting a headphone, uh you're out of gas, there is none.

Uh this year, you're going to have to buy those on your own or get a. You know: Bluetooth, Galaxy Buds live a Galaxy Buds plus, but there is no headphone in the box this year. Uh you can bug Samsung and they'll. Probably give you a coupon code, so you can buy them. I know phone tech, I work, hit them up and got a 30 coupon, so you might want to hit them up, but we're going to go ahead and do this reveal together uh.

Let's go ahead and take off the front. Oh no, the front is uh the front yeah. Let's take off that front there we go put that in their beautiful screen 6.9 inch display. Now this has the big boy, snapdragon 865, plus all right. Now you guys ready you ready, ready, ready.

Yes, sir, yes, sir there she is and all her glory the mystic black stealth. Looking right here, stealth. Looking telling you this is that stealth just looks like something from the future. This is the Galaxy Note.20 plus you know they make some good phones them and apple league leading design on all their phones. We're going to go ahead and set this up I'll, be back so that we can kind of go through some stuff, the s pen and all that good stuff, but 6.9 inch display quad, HD uh. You get the latest and greatest from Samsung android 10 out the box, one UI 2.5 12 gigabytes of ram um, that's no joke! This is 128 gigabytes of storage. I wish it would have been 256 but hey.

I got the one now on the back. You get the triple camera setup, 108, megapixel, uh, wide angle, and then you get that um lens. You also get that 12 megapixel telephoto and then the 12 megapixel ultra-wide okay. So you get some good stuff.8K 4k at 30 and 60 uh front facing camerae. You're going to get um pretty good camera set up there with the uh 4k 3060 on the front um you get 10 megapixel camera dual pixel, you also on the back.

You get the laser autofocus. So that's going to be interesting to check that out. But this is the Galaxy Note: 20 ultra I'm going to go ahead and set up the menus, and I'll be right back all right. So I got everything set up. I loaded up the fingerprint display reader, which is actually I don't know if it's just uh.

You know an effect, but it seems like it's pretty legit when it comes to the finger, and you could do with this display off see that I don't have the don't have any kind of facial recognition gone. That's just the that's just the Samsung fingerprint reader. The setup was pretty seamless, pretty easy. I transfer my apps and everything on my text messages on my phone call logs um. I didn't do pictures because I don't like to transfer a picture from phone the phone, because then, then you don't know which phone took the picture.

If you're going to do uh, you know a comparison, video upload them on uh. You know Facebook Instagram or Twitter um, but this phone has the a65 plus I mean it's an absolute it. It's a big phone so but my apps all loaded up took you know I did the smart switch on it, which you know took a little but um. It always takes a long time with any phone transformer because I'm transferring so much stuff. So many text messages.

I must have like a million text messages, but this is the mystic black um. It's got the 865 plus on here, like I said, 12 gigabytes of ram, 128 gigabytes of storage, but you do get the do, get the SD card slot here, so you can bump it up to whatever storage you want to do, and you got the triple camera on the back now, a lot of people were mentioning um no screen protector on here that I can see it came with a little. If you saw the opening of the video it came with a little. You know, plastic. You know because it's brand new, but nothing, so I take it off anyway.

So, but some people may not, they may not want to keep the device that long they may want to return it, so they don't want to scratch it up. I kind of get it, but you'll want to get a screen protector for this, because this is a nice beautiful. It is a nice display, so you want to make sure that you take care of it. We're going to go, go ahead and put this on dark mode. As you can see there, you got your vivid now.

The display has 120 hertz at full HD at the quad HD you're still going to get the 60 hertz. So those are the things you got to decide on what you want to do. I want to do the screen time out, because I want to show you guys the screen. Let's go in here to the resolution, we're going to go ahead and uh keep it on full HD, because I want to do the 120 huts that I'm pretty sure is already set up touch sensitivity. We're going to put that on because we may put a screen protector on here and see exactly so.

As you can see there, you could do 60 or 120 adaptive uh 120 hertz, so I guess it goes, so you want to go that back down to standard you can, I'll just keep it on the 120. Oh, shout out to the text messages. I love the uh notifications for uh for the uh for the Samsung phones. They always have that, but all right now this is a big phone 6.9 inch display. As you can see here, I want to get out my Pixel 4a, just to kind of compare the two here's a little buddy, the little buddy.

So just so you guys kind of get a feel 5.8 6.9. So it's its almost two phones, I mean look at it. I mean that is just looked at the camera, but this camera hello. So we'll see what this camera could do, um, but I just wanted to kind of show you guys a comparison of the two. I believe gorilla glass, seven on the front of this, but you better protect this um.

Let's take a look at that camera, as you can see, um the camera. Let me this thing's uh. You guys say it. This thing is a fingerprint magnet, uh I'll, probably put in a case anyway. It doesn't really matter, but you do want to protect this.

I would get a screen protector for that lens and the back probably clear or brand whatever you're going to do um definitely get a screen protector on here, but check out the lens. Here you get the 100 108 megapixel wide standard lens. Then you get the 12 megapixel telephoto, I believe it is um, and then you get a 12 megapixel ultra-wide lens. You also get the laser autofocus, which is great um. You know, and then you get your front facing camera here on the front.

Furthermore, you know that's going to have 4k 60 video, which is kind of cool. Looking forward to that, because sometimes you know you want to do 4k 60, it's kind of nice to have it. That's one thing I will say about Samsung, no headphone jack on this phone. You get the same of the things you do get. This thing has everything it's got wireless charging.

It's got ip68, it's got stereo speakers has 120 hertz, it has quad HD, so you get, and it also has a hefty price tag. This is 12.99 guys, 12.99. The reason I got is I got some good deals on some trade-ins and some discounts that I was able to get from Samsung. So the it came out to a reasonable ballpark for me um. So, but it is a damn expensive device.

I'm not going to lie it's very expensive, but this thing has pretty much everything. It does not have a headphone jack like I said uh, but you know, got to take the plastic off of there, but it is a really good-looking device. This is the mystic black, but look. I know this thing is going to go full tilt for you, whatever you want to do. I want to go in here.

Furthermore, I hate how it always I don't like adaptive brightness I like to just set my brightness, and I'm good. You know so one thing I like about these: they get super bright, you're going to be able to see this outside you're, not gonna. Have any issues with this um you get android 10, like I said earlier, one UI 2.5 in display fingerprint reader face unlock Bixby. This has a pretty big battery um coming out the box. It has about 45 percent battery, so I'm going to have to charge it here.

Uh you get the Samsung wireless DEX, which is kind of cool. I'm going to check that out probably a little later um you get fast charging you get uh. This thing has pretty much got reverse wireless charging. You get pretty much everything um that you want uh in a phone. I like the black, it's very classy slick.

The white is hot. I ain't gonna lie, it is its nice and the mystic bronze. It is what it is. If you like that, color that's cool, I wasn't really into it when I saw it at Best Buy that's why I was like. Oh, I'm going to go with the black, but this is a very, very, very, very, very big display.

But it's nice real nice. It's a real nice display, and we can't talk about the note without talking about the pin um. You got air ac actions on here where you could kind of you know: open apps, take pictures, control, music uh without touching your screen. So that's that's kind of cool that you can. You could do that, go ahead and try that out you got a little button.

Here's the pin! It's all black uh on here whole dress, pen tip facing there, but look it is kind of cool there. You go! Try again. Let's try that again. Oh, I have to go a little faster says great job, so it's kind of neat. You know you get.

You know with the these. Are this is kind of cool I have to get in a habit of using this more. I don't use this enough um. Let me change the pin on here. I, like I like these pins that are different um.

Maybe it's not that you know what it is. Maybe it's! The font! Oh, let's see, let's see we're gonna, try this! Let's try this, so we're going to go ahead and put um. Oh, that's the eraser! Sorry we're going to go ahead and put android stud note.20 ultra! Oh, oh, I see they have like two screens there look, and it translates your text to your handwriting to text, so you can convert it or whatever you want to do so. It's kind of cool man. I I I have to, use the note pins app a little more because I don't use it enough.

Um. That's my only regret um, but I like how you just do page after page and I got to get into the got to watch some videos on the note app um on using the pen, but you got air gestures, take pictures, open, apps, all kinds of stuff, there's a lot of different things that you can do with the pin um that you can't do regularly. Now. As far as the camera is concerned, obviously you get the wide-angle lens. You get the standard lens, you get the telephoto zoom, so you know you want to take some pictures of uh.

You know whatever. Let's take a picture of this note, 20 box, the camera, the Samsung cameras have always been good. They haven't been extremely great, like pixel or the iPhone 11 um, but you know the front-facing camera, I think, is where they have suffered a little. What's up party people um but hey, it might take better pictures. I like the live focus at times you could take some cool shots.

Let me see if I can take a picture there um, but you know: front-facing. Camera has been good on Samsung devices. Just hasn't been great, I think that's where they kind of, but their video is excellent. Their pictures are pretty good and daytime night mode, I'm not sure if they've been the greatest, but it does hold its own. I mean it's better than OnePlus cameras, it's better than most cameras, um, just the pixel, I think, does a little better with portrait and some standard shots.

You know point-and-shoot. This is a pretty good point-and-shoot camera um. You just have to kind of know what you're doing at times. But it's not bad. I mean it's a good camera, but look, that's going to do it.

This is uh the Galaxy Note 20 ultra 5g, that's a handful comes in this color mystic black mixed it bronze and mystic white, but this thing has pretty much everything so if you're in the market for the latest and greatest the best from Samsung, this is the note line. The fold two is coming down. The line and that'll be twice the price of this so or in that ballpark. But that's gonna. Does it man? Let me know what you guys.
