“Samsung Galaxy Flagship Killer”? - S10 Lite better than the Oneplus 7T?

Going by the aggressive pricing of the s10 light Samsung seems to have set their sights on one places market share. So how well does this new light flagship perform when pitted against the 1 / 70? That is what we are going to find out in today's video: hey guys ash here from c4e Tech and if you do end up liking. What you see here, please don't forget to turn on notifications by hearing that Bell icon. Let's now get this video started. So let's start with a build. The builds one area where Samsung's gone light.

Now this is glass thick and not glass, but that said, it still feels premium and the glass plastic composite should fare better than plastic. In regard to scratch resistance now, OnePlus. On the other hand, it's a actual Gorilla, Glass 5, well, scratch resistance might differ in hand. I didn't feel a major difference. Despite plastic, the SN light still manages to feel quite premium.

The bezels on the S 10 light are also slimmer. Despite sporting, a larger display, the overall form factor. It's not a lot larger. That said, glass versus glass take I'm, going to have to go with glass here. Turning the phone's around.

Both phones use AMOLED panels with Full HD Plus resolutions and tons of quality they're quite similar, deep inky, blacks and vivid punchy colors, that's what we get the panel on the s10 lights called infinity. Oh, that's. Due to this punch hole up top the Austin Lights panel is the larger one. Six point: seven inches compared to six point: five: five long, d1 plus seventy. It also happens to be the brighter panel.

The 70 though it has one big advantage. This is a fluid AMOLED panel, and they call it that because of the refresh rate it's 90 Hertz, the higher refresh rate makes the 70 feel smoother and more responsive, even with simple day-to-day tasks. So it all comes down to this. Do you prefer larger brighter screens with that punch hole? Or do you want the higher refresh rate with the water drop? Not personally, if you ask me, I prefer the higher interest rate, but this one is definitely going to boil down to personal preference, so I'm going to leave it down to you guys now under the hood. Both phones are powered by it.

Not Hardware. Technically OnePlus has a slight advantage: it sports the Snapdragon 855 plus chip compared to the Snapdragon 855 on the s10 light. Now with the CPU, the 855 plus has very little to offer over the 855, just a 4% boost with us, with single threaded applications, negligible improvements with multi-core applications with the GPU, though there is a 15% boost. That said, there's nothing out there that can push the 855 to the max anyway and by the way, the Arena 640. On the s10 light, it's pushing a 60 Hertz screen.

Well, the 15% more powerful Arena 640 on the 70. It's pushing a 90 Hertz panel, so that kind of levels, the playing field, long story short either phone should give you ample performance. Both phones have eight gigs of ram 128 gigs of storage, OnePlus offers higher variance. Samsung offers a hybrid slot for expansion. From a software perspective, we have oxygen OS 10 on the 71 UI 2.0, on the s10 light, both based on Android 10. Both phones come with minimal blurred.

Minimum pre-installed apps with one UI reach ability is a big advantage, despite the large screen, the menus as to easy to reach single-handed 1 UI, it's pretty well optimized for single-handed usage, most problem notifications and other options. They are comfortably located at the bottom of the screen. Samsung pay is also a great addition scrolling through the user interface and switching between apps. It's all very quick on both phones. Now that said, the OnePlus 70 did end up feeling a tad bit snappier and that's thanks in large to the faster animations on oxygen OS and that 90 hurt screen refresh and with more intense tasks like gaming.

Both oxygen, OS and 1u I have dedicated game modes, and both phones do perform well you're, not gonna notice any stutter or lag on either phone. That said, with titles like modern combat vs. , where we do have support for higher frame rates, everything from movement controls to aiming-down-sights does feel snappier and more responsive on the one place d when it comes to battery like the s10 light, takes the cake with a massive battery 4500 William ire is the capacity here, so this is typically an all-day phone one plus. On the other hand, it still has a decent 300 million power battery, but the s turn light it out lasts the 70 quite comfortably for quick top-ups. Both devices support fast charging.

There is 30 what were charging for the OnePlus while the s turn light, it supports up to 45 watts of fast charging, but here's the hitch. It only comes with a 25 watt charger in the box, but it's still quite fast. Now, let's look at some sundries. The fingerprint scanners on both are under the display, but they are different. One plus 70, it's much faster, more accurate.

The one on the s10 light is quite disappointing. To be honest, now there is no wireless charging or IP rating on both phones, but OnePlus dust claimed Italy, water resistance. So that is an added advantage. As for speakers, the s turn light as a single bottom firing speaker that's quiet loud in comparison, the OnePlus, though it comes with stereo speakers that are louder. They are also full of.

Finally, we come to the cameras, both phones. They come with triple camera. Setups to the back. Forty-eight megapixel primary sensors, the S turn light has OAS on board, along with an F 2.0 aperture lens. Well, the 78 comes with an F 1.6 lens again stabilized both phones. They do perform well, the colors, the dynamic range, the detail, it's all very comparable, there's not a lot between the two and at this price point you don't really expect a drastic difference these days at least not under good lighting conditions.

So now, let's jump to more challenging conditions to see. If we can find a lot more differences now would Samsung and one plus they do provide night modes dedicated night modes. Here yes, turn light, it shines, and that's thanks to the super stereo is that Samsung offers- and this is where the sensor on the lens both would compensate for shake. So the images they're brighter the detail levels are similar. Now when it comes to the secondary ultra-wide 12 megapixels on the s10 light 16 on the 70 are advanced, the punchy, vibrant colors of like they look more appealing, and it also has the wider field of view.

So it manages to capture more of the scene, but the one per 70 has better dynamic range and detail. Both these cameras also have night mode support and again here the s10 light does better with brighter and more detailed images. The third sensor and of this implementation is quite different. Samsung's gone with a dedicated, 5 megapixel macro option. One plus also allows for macro, but it's via the ultra-wide itself.

The dedicated sensor here means the s10 light manages to come out with sharper images. The third sensor on the OnePlus 70, now that's a telephoto option. Now the s10 light does not have any telephoto option. The 2 X optical zoom, here on the 70, is something you just cannot get with the s10 light. As for selfies, the OnePlus 70 performs better.

Despite having a resolution disadvantage, the colors are more natural and the dynamic ranges that are better to with videos. Both phones support, 4k 60fps, and we have OAS on both phones. The s10 light, though thanks to the super steady away, is where the sensor also compensates for shake. It has more stable footage due to better Hardware stabilization, the difference it's pretty noticeable here. The video quality is also better richer and more detailed for software.

Stabilization at 1080p destined light again shines bright additionally, light focus, video returns so overall with cameras, especially videos, it seems like Samsung seems to have done a better job here with the eastern light. So now, finally, we get to the pricing the one place, and he launched a 38 thousand rupees, but now it's available at 35,000 rupees. The galaxy has 10 light. It's launched at 39, $9.99 or 40,000 rupees, and an offer of $3,000 for CCA cards. But let's leave the office apart.

Both are 28 variants, the 70. It is better value for money here. It's got an Olga's belt, the fluid AMOLED optical zoom, the snappy oxygen OS stock as oxygen OS, along with that's, not dragon 850. Well, plus, it's got all this going for it and a 5k cheaper price tag, but all that said the s10 lie Jonson strongest, offering at this price point like strongest ever, and it isn't one to be taken lightly. If you want a higher screen to body ratios, Samsung's specific features like Samsung pay, micros expansion, better low-light performance or videos and, most importantly, if you want a premium Samsung phone at a not so premium price point, then the s10 light would be a great fit for you.

So these are the pros and cons of both phones and based on what your preferences are. Where your priorities lie, you can choose, what's actually best for you. Which one would you choose and why let me know in the comments below and with that we get at the end of this comparison, video thumbs up thumbs down, based on whatever you felt about it, subscribe turn on notifications by hitting that Bell icon.
