In, my very first review of the Samsung Galaxy buzz plus, which you can watch over here. We saw how the galaxy buzz has fared in terms of audio to video lags when gaming on an Apple device and an Android device. But the biggest feedback that I got at a time was that these earbuds has an experimental feature called gaming mode, a feature that's exclusive only to Samsung devices and which is supposed to reduce its audio to video latency to a bare minimum. When gaming- and there were many of you who told me in the comments section that you want to see how the galaxy buzz plus performs on gaming mode on a Samsung device, so a very big shout out to Samsung Singapore for sending me a s20, Ultra smartphone. This makes it possible for us to see how the galaxy buzz plus operates in gaming mode compared to some of the most popular earbuds in the market. Of course, I'm talking about the AirPods pro the Sony, w 8,000 x, m3 and what I consider to be one of the best earbuds for gaming, the Racer hammerhead TW, because those earbuds also has a gaming mode with super low latency.
Alright, this is how it's going to go. First, we're going to see how much of a difference there is using the Galaxy Buds, plus without gaming mode versus with gaming mode, and then we compare the galaxy buzz pass on gaming mode to all these other earbuds. That I've mentioned as usual. Instead of playing a video from an app like YouTube or Netflix, I'm going to use a video game to test for lag because it's a lot more accurate. That way, if you want to know the reason why I've included an explanation in the description box.
Okay, first, let's see what no lag looks like on the s20 ultra. This is audio straight from the SPD ultra speaker, so know that now the guarantee buzz Plus without gaming mode and with gaming mode. So there is quite a noticeable difference here. There is a lot less lag on gaming mode compared to with gaming mode switched off. Now, let's compare the galaxy buzz press on gaming mode to the airport's pro, so this is basically a draw.
The galaxy buzz plus and the air pass pro displayed just as low of a latency when gaming or the s20 ultra- and this is quite impressive, because if we were to use other Android phones like, for example, the LG v40, you know the phone that I usually use in my latency tests. The airport's Pro will definitely outperform the galaxy buzz plus, just like it outperforms, almost all other truly wireless earbuds because of its h1 Bluetooth chip implementation, but on the s20 ultra, the galaxy bus plus came to a draw with the air force pro so for the bus Plus. This is a huge step forward in terms of low latency performance. All right now, we're going to see how it compares to the Sony WF a thousand x, m3 okay. So this is a clear win for the Kentucky buds plus it has lower audio to video latency on gaming mode than the Sony action three-year buds.
Now, let's check out how the galaxy buzz first compares on gaming mode to the razor hammer ATW, also on gaming mode, so the Racer hammerhead TW, which by far has the lowest audio to video latency when gaming on an Android device ever so slightly, bleed out the galaxy buzz pass on gaming mode if only its battery life were as great as the Galaxy parts plus that'll make it a more compelling product, but I digress anyway. If you want to watch my review of the Racer hammerhead TW, please click on this video over here. In conclusion, if you are thinking of buying a pair of Galaxy Buds, + or if you already only pair- and you aren't too happy with the way it lags when gaming on your phone you've seen how gaming mode on the galaxy buzz class can help to improve things, the problem is that gaming mode is a feature: that's exclusive, only to Samsung devices. So if you want to enjoy lower latency performance on your galaxy bass, plus you've got a switch to using a Samsung device. The device that I use is the galaxy s 20 ultra, but you as I understand it.
You can also use other Samsung devices ?, even the older ones, like the s10. So guys tell me what you think in the comments section below and let me know also if you want me to talk a bit more about the s20 ultra again big shout out to Samsung Singapore for helping to make this video happen.
