Hey guys, it's time to do a speed test comparison between the galaxy, a 9 Pro versus the AAA 2016. So a much, much requested comparison here that a lot of people have been asking for, so I'm just going to quickly boot a both of these two phones up at the same time, so 3 2, 1, go and as far as the specs are concerned, at the AAA 2016, obviously, is the better one. You know it has the Galaxy S6 processor Enos 7420. This one here is coming with snaring and 62, plus 4 gigs of ram. So you get a bit more RAM here on this, a 9 pro phone. So overall it's going to be an interesting comparison.
You can see the a9 pro is faster when it comes to booting up, while the 8 2016 was just like a split second late, so going to quickly increase the brightness here and right from the home screen or not the home screen. Actually, the quick setting area you can see that we had the latest grace UI running on the galaxy 8 2016. To get all the features of the note.7, you know pretty much all the features' software features, so you will see an update for the a9 property soon in the future, so same Wi-Fi network on both devices and also, let me know if you like, the new background hair cell I'm, just going to quickly go into the first application, which is the phone $1.00. Here we go. Ok, so if I'm not wrong, the a9 pro was a tiny bit faster there compared to the a8 2016 again you guys, as a judge here, settings to go and that is actually faster on the AAA 2016, so interesting, stuff checking out some third-party stuff.
So we got color switch here.3 2 1 go and, let's see which is going to be faster here. Ok, a 2016 finishes off. First, let's go back subway surfers and that is also a good game that I play a lot so okay, so you can see that a 2016 definitely showing its speed. You know, um the flagship processor that something decided to put inside is doing something, some wonderful things here, pulling ahead in game loading times. We can check out another game, third game which is smash hit and, let's see here, hmm, okay, so I was actually playing this game on this one, which means that I think it was again little faster like it loaded that game faster, but not from the start.
Obviously, I was playing this game before, so I do think that a 2016 is a game faster. There we're going to go again to the app drawer and let's see we also have some common applications such as Twitter, let's go, and that is faster on the a8 2016 we got Y bur, 8 2016, let's see Instagram, that is nice. Here we go and again a 2016 finishes off with the latest feed, as you can see, and it started to play the video while a 9 pro. It also started, of course started off, but it is slow compared to the 2016, so you can see that for the most part, the turns it's been definitely dominating this speed test comparison. So.
Lastly, we're opening up the camera side by side. Here we go, and again it seems like the a 2016 was a bit quicker there, so that was the apps opening test. Definitely like I said in the start of the video that the 2016 has a better processor exodus, 20:4 2-0 from the last year's flagship, Galaxy S6. We can go ahead and try out some browsing performance comparison so for that I'm going to be using the default Internet browser and blood devices. Okay, so first off it got Wikipedia.
org, let's go, and we're going to wait and see which one will finish off first with this website, so the 2016 first one to come to the website, and it also finishes off faster compared to the a9 pro you can see scrolling and everything is smooth on both devices. Next we got facebook. com and let's see who is going to be the winner and okay again, the 8 2016 finishes up faster, so perfect performance. Here, overall I mean they were really close, not like a major difference, but a 2016 definitely dominated the a9 Pro. Let's see the RAM measurement and see if there's any difference in, of course, three gigs of ram versus four gigs of ram.
The phone dollar opened up nicely on both devices, no refresh we can go into settings and okay. That is also opened up quite nicely on both devices. Color switch, okay, no problems. Moving on, we got subway surfers, ok, top-notch performance so far on both phones smash hit. Okay, there we go.
We got a refresh all the only nine Pro up. Wow, I did not expect that at all, but okay, let's see here is there any more refresh Twitter opened up fine on both phones. Why burr? Okay, no refresh same thing here, Instagram? That is also kept in the memory by both phones and let's open up the internet browser that we recently opened so only one refresh with the galaxy a nine pro, and maybe it maybe that was like an occasional refresh I, don't know I would be doing some other comparison. Other speed test comparison also may put this phone on side by side against galaxy, a7 or s6 or note 5. Let me know your thoughts, your requests with requests down below in the comments section, obviously real-life usage wise.
You won't be able to notice these small differences, but a 2016 when put side by side with the a9 pro you'll see faster performance here, really, really good stuff. Obviously you can expect a performance boost with the end pro after the update, so Samsung will update this phone same with this one to the nougat so yeah. Thank you so much for watching the speed test. Comparison hope you guys have enjoyed this video, and I'll. See you in the next one.
Peace.
