Hey guys I wanted to compare here, galaxy, a8, 2018 plus and the s7 edge here from 2016. So that was the flagship phone on the right you can see. They do have quite similar in terms of the size here, but the eight plus a little bigger, giving you slightly more screen real estate, which is quite nice. Although the thing I really like about the A+ is, it doesn't have the curved display, which gives you much nice feel in the hand in terms of grittiness, but obviously the s7 edge is still very attractive, handset here. So let's just start you up. At the same time, some people been saying the a looking like a bigger version of the g6, which I would agree.
Actually that's how LG does it's like butter? This design obviously got set pixel as well, which comes with the borderless design, the bigger one so which one is going to boot up first here. This is an actually notes, s7 edge, which is still very strong processor, as you can see easily beating the a8 plus here, which everything comes with Snapdragon processor 4 gigs of ram, not 60s around, which is I originally thought, but still quite decent for an upper mid-range kind of handset. Here, although it's quite price because you can get the s7 edge the cheaper now overall, so let's just have a look: how they do compared going to open up a few apps here and then see you know if we can see any differences, so I think they're both still on nugget. Unfortunately, you know not the quickest when it comes to update Samsung, but shouldn't be long now, hopefully, so we can see the edge seems to be leaving the a standing in most regards I. Think if you ask me this as I look at some third-party ones, so we've got UFC and dojo boohoo for man and uni days, I'm thinking the s7 edge here easily.
You know at least beating the new phone on the left here. I would go to show you again. You know don't rule out all the flagships. I mean there's absolutely no reason to. Yes, it has an old type of charging, but you can see even today, still the beast in terms of the rock performance.
Let's just have a look at the speed here of the Wi-Fi, so just going to check this is on correct, so it wasn't there we go and this one. Interestingly, the screens don't really seem to progressed as well in terms of the OLED like it seems to be about the same in terms of the know, colors except I would expect probably some sort of HDR tech to be put into there or something make it more interesting, but the mid-range kind of credentials here the process so clear to see when it comes to your speed test, which is quite unfortunate, really given as I said, how expensive the phone knows, maybe they should for the Plus model. You should have used the latest extra notes. What is where, as you can see, the upload isn't too shabby well there so, and that's still a beast two years later, when it comes to the speed test. So yeah, you know if you I, don't ask me I'd, say you'd seriously, consider s7 edge, SAS a puss exactly if you're looking at these two handsets because you know they're so nice, you have a lot of life in it.
In my opinion, still going strong, obviously, I think how we see you do have some differences with the fingerprint scanner on the front which isn't I, don't think quite good as the ones on the latest. Samsung phones, so do better mine, also getting very fingerprint magnet back here on the s7 edge compared to more frosted here, which is quite good for that particular aspect both for fully waterproof, obviously, which is still pretty good for the s7 edge I think the camera is going to definitely better, though on their seven edge, because the ace theory seems to be very mid-range in that particular aspect. You still have a whole load of like promos, etc. that you can put on. So if you want my opinion, go for the s7 edge.
You know just my honest opinion here. If you're looking at these two I, don't even know if they manufacture them anymore. Probably don't, but I will be doing some other comparisons with some other handset, so do stay tuned. For that hope, you enjoyed the video, and I've seen a x1 Cheers.
