Samsung Galaxy A52 5G vs Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra - Who Will Win?

Hey everybody- this is Andre here with the Kevin breeze channel and in this video we're going to be doing a comparison between the Samsung Galaxy a52 5g in the Samsung Galaxy s21 ultra, let's get started so the Samsung Galaxy a525g has a six and a half inch 120 hertz super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080p a PPI of 407, an aspect ratio of 20 by 9 and a screen to body ratio of percent. We got a hole punch here for the front-facing camera and this camera is 32 megapixels. The Samsung Galaxy s21 ultra has a 6.8 inch, 120 hertz, dynamic AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440p a PPI of 515, an aspect ratio of 20 by 9 and a screen to body ratio of 89.8 percent. We got a hole, punch, front-facing, camera here as well, and this camera is 40 megapixels. So overall, both of these phones have perfect displays. I like the 120 hertz, displays.

That's perfect for both of these phones. As you can see here, the movement on the screen is a lot more fluid and smooth than a lot of the phones with lower refresh rates, definitely compared to a phone like the iPhone 12. For example. These phones are going to have much smoother and more fluid motion, because the iPhone 12 only has a 60 hertz display the movement's going to be a lot faster and in some cases it might be easier on your eyes as well. This is perfect for if you're, maybe streaming, videos or playing high performance games, that sort of thing where graphics and movement on the screen is important.

Now, although both these phones do have good displays, I would say the Samsung Galaxy s21 ultra has a better display with a resolution of 1440p versus 1080p. That is gonna, make a difference. In addition to that, the screen to body ratio is a lot higher on the s21 ultra. The bezels are a lot thinner on this phone and in addition to that, the display overall is just bigger. Now, as far as storage goes, the Samsung Galaxy a52 5g is getting 256 gigabytes of internal storage.

Now there is another variant that only gets 128 gigabytes, but this specific version of the phone, in my hand, does get 256 and the Samsung Galaxy s.21 ultra is getting 128 gigabytes as well with micro, SD card expansion, so both of these phones have a perfect amount of storage. I can't imagine the average user running out of space on either of these phones, but if you have lots of games on the phone that take up a lot of space or if you shoot lots of videos, especially 4k or higher, because 1080p is big enough as it is so those high resolution, videos are really going to take up a lot of space and in that situation I could see the a525g having an advantage, because it has double the space of the s21 ultra, but at the same time, with micros card expansion that really may or may not matter. A lot depends on if you'd rather keep the storage on your phone or, if you do want to use a micro SD card either way. Both of these have a great amount of storage, but the a525g it does have an advantage here now. The Samsung Galaxy a525g does not have wireless charging, but the s21 ultra.

Does it support 15 watt wireless charging? So if that feature is important to you, definitely keep that in mind. As far as security goes, both of these phones have both fingerprint scanners and face unlock. Definitely a good thing in comparison to the iPhone that doesn't have a fingerprint scanner at all. These phones are for sure, going to be better than that. Both of the fingerprint scanners are in display we're going to test them out real, quick and see how they work, starting with the a525g and there we go.

That was real, fast and responsive one more time and really nice, let's see how it works with the s21 ultra, and that was real fast one more time. So I would say that, even though the a525g does have a real good fingerprint scanner, that's fast and responsive the s21 ultra definitely has a better one. It has a super high quality feel that a flagship phone should have, and it really unlocked. Basically instantly, whereas there was a little of lag and animation with the a525g, but either way both phones have perfect fingerprint scanners that are really responsive. Now, we're going to take a look at these camera setups, so the Samsung Galaxy a52 5g has a 64 megapixel, rear camera, a 12, megapixel, ultrawide camera, a 5, megapixel depth, sensing camera and a 5 megapixel macro camera perfect features.

The phone is also capable of shooting 4k videos in both the rear and the front facing cameras. The Samsung Galaxy s21 ultra has a 108 megapixel rear camera, a 12 megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 10 megapixel telephoto lens and a 10 megapixel periscope telephoto lens. So it doesn't have a macro camera, but the telephoto lenses are a lot better than a macro camera so that difference really isn't even a factor. In addition to all these camera features, the Samsung Galaxy s21 ultra is capable of shooting up to 8k at 24 frames per second in the rear, camera and 4k at 60 frames per second in the front-facing camera. So as far as everything in the camera goes, the Samsung Galaxy s21 ultra is gonna.

Have the huge advantage there's really nothing in the camera of the a52 5g, that's better than the s21 ultra. That being said, the a52 5g does have a really high quality camera as well, and if you are just looking to take super high quality pictures and some good videos here and there, the a52 5g should be fine. But if you do want the most professional high quality photos and videos you can get the Samsung Galaxy s21 ultra is gonna, be the way to go now internally. The Samsung Galaxy a525g is getting eight gigabytes of ram with the Qualcomm snapdragon 750 g processor now keep in mind that the lower variant of the Samsung Galaxy a525g only gets six gigabytes of ram. That being said again, this is the higher model that has a Samsung Galaxy.

S21 ultra is getting 12 gigabytes of ram. With the Qualcomm snapdragon 888 processors. We ran geek bench 5 benchmark tests on both of these phones and the a525g came back with a single core score of 647 and a multi-core score of 1939. The s21 ultra came back with a single core score of 1126 and a multi-core score of 34.83. So there is a huge difference here with the a52 5g you're going to be able to do most things, there's not really anything.

It can't do, but at the same time, if you're doing high performance, gaming or video editing with large files and stuff like that, then it's probably going to run a little slow at times, whereas with the s21 ultra, it's really made for the highest end activities. So if you're doing high performance gaming, there shouldn't be any problem same thing with most video editing. It should all be good, definitely consider what you really need. If you're not going to be doing a lot of high performance activities, it might not make as much sense for you to get the s21 ultra, because high performance activities that are taxing on the processor is where this phone is really going to have it's time to shine. Just to give you a better idea of what all of this looks like in real life, I'm going to do a quick demonstration for you, starting by opening Google Chrome.

So as we can see there, the s21 ultra was clearly faster. Let's open a web page and see if it's consistent again, the s21 ultra was definitely faster between the two, but really a basic activity like web browsing is where the least of the difference is going to show once it gets to the higher performance activities. They really take a lot of energy from the processor. That's when you're really going to see the difference. So from that little demonstration, you can definitely tell the s21 ultra is a lot faster than the Samsung Galaxy a52 5g.

So keep that in mind. As far as the battery goes again, the s21 ultra does have an advantage here with a 5 000 William hour battery that supports 25 watt fast charging versus the a52 5g, with a 4500 William hour battery that also supports 25 watt fast charging both of the batteries are huge, but the s21 ultra does have a clearly bigger battery. So it's going to have not only more life per charge, but also longevity down the road, and I do think that this battery on a flagship phone like this is a real great deal, because not only are you getting a super high performance device, but you're also getting one with a battery. That's gonna! Last for a really long time. That being said, the a52 is definitely a good value, as well with a 4, 500, William hour battery and also good performance.

I'm really impressed by both now, of course, being a flagship phone. The Samsung Galaxy s21 ultra not only has NFC, but it also has stuff like dust and water resistance. But, to my surprise, the Samsung Galaxy a52 5g has all of that as well. It has NFC, and it has dust and water resistance up to a meter for 30 minutes. So as far as that type of durability goes they're a lot closer than I thought now in conclusion, which one of these phones is better in almost every way the Samsung Galaxy s21 ultra is the better device.

The one place on paper, the Samsung Galaxy a52 5g has an advantage. Is the storage this has 256 gigabytes versus 128 now, even though the s21 ultra is a better device with a higher quality display, a much better camera and a faster processor, as well as a bigger battery in flagship features like wireless charging, that the a52 5g doesn't have the Samsung Galaxy a525g is still going to get you a super high quality display the ability to shoot, 4k videos, a great camera, a decently big battery, lots of storage and a good amount of processing power for much less than a flagship phone. So if you're not really doing super high-end activities like high performance, gaming or video editing with large files and that sort of thing, then you might be fine with just the Samsung Galaxy a525g, because this phone is perfect, and it's not going to cost as much. But if you do want top of the line performance and the best camera quality and display possible and extra flagship features like wireless charging, then the Samsung Galaxy s21 ultra is gonna, be the device for you. But I hope you guys enjoyed the video if you did be sure to leave a thumbs up and subscribe, and I'll see you guys in the next one.
