Samsung Galaxy A52 5G vs OnePlus 9 Pro - Who Will Win?

Hey everybody- this is Andre here with the Kevin breeze channel and in this video we're going to be doing a comparison between the Samsung Galaxy, a52 5g and the OnePlus 9 pro. Let's get started so the Samsung Galaxy a52 5g has a six and a half inch 120 hertz super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080p a PPI of 407, an aspect ratio of 20 by 9 and a screen to body ratio of percent. We got a hole punch here for the front-facing camera and this camera is 32 megapixels with the OnePlus 9 pro. We have a 6.7 inch, 120 hertz AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440p a PPI of 525, an aspect ratio of 20.1 by 9 and a screen to body ratio of 90.3. Furthermore, we got another hole, punch here for the front-facing camera and this one is 16 megapixels overall. Both of these phones have perfect displays.

The OnePlus 9 pro, though, has a slightly better display with a higher resolution and a slightly larger size in general. In addition to that, the bezels are clearly smaller, giving it a more premium. Nice modern look. That being said, both of them are perfect. The 120 hertz refresh rate, really does make a difference.

Look at how fast the movement on the screen is. This is going to carry over to stuff like video, streaming and high performance gaming, where you really are going to get the best experience. Not only is it going to be faster and smoother, but it might be a little easier on your eyes too. Now, depending on the variant of the a525g you get, you're going to have either 128 or 256 gigabytes of internal storage with micros card expansion. For the sake of this comparison, this specific variant is the 256 variant.

The OnePlus 9 pro only has one version: it gets 256 gigabytes of internal storage, also with micros card expansion. So as far as these two phones go in storage, they are equal and with that much storage, you really are not going to be running out of anything. Unless you shoot a lot of videos, that's the only situation I can realistically imagine running out of storage just because videos, even 1080p videos, take up a lot of space, and these phones can both shoot. Much higher than 1080p either way the micros card is still going to help you out with that, even if you do run out of space and of course, if you're shooting that kind of videos, I'm sure you'll be storing most of the data in places. Besides your phone anyway, now the a52 5g does not have wireless charging, but the OnePlus 9 pro does so.

Keep that in mind, if that's a feature, that's important to you as far as security goes. Both of these phones have in display fingerprint scanners and face unlock, so whichever one you prefer, you can use it. So, let's give these fingerprint scanners a try, starting with the Samsung Galaxy a52 5g there we go real, fast and responsive one more time, real, good, no complaints here. So there's almost no difference, but I do feel like the OnePlus 9 pro does unlock just a tiny bit faster with the a52 5g there's a little of an animation, whereas with the OnePlus 9 pro, it's basically instant. It feels very much like an external fingerprint scanner, one of those that's located either right here or on the power button, and those fingerprint scanners in my experience are usually faster than the in-display ones, but with the OnePlus 9 pro, it really isn't.

It's the same exact speed. So it is a little better than the a525g's fingerprint scanner, but really both of them are perfect and really reliable. Now, taking a look at these rear camera setups with the Samsung Galaxy a52 5g, we got a 64 megapixel, rear camera, a 12 megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 5 megapixel depth, sensing camera and a 5 megapixel macro camera. So pretty much every feature that you could ask for with the OnePlus 9 pro we got a 48 megapixel, rear camera, a 50 megapixel ultra-wide camera, an 8 megapixel telephoto lens and a 2 megapixel monochrome camera. So these phones have basically the same things as far as their camera features go.

I would say the OnePlus 9 pro is probably going to be a tiny bit better being a flagship phone. It's most likely going to have a slightly better sensor. Not only that, but with a 50, megapixel ultrawide camera, I actually before this phone didn't even realize. Ultrawide cameras could be that powerful, so there's definitely going to be some sort of advantage with the OnePlus 9 pro. That being said, both of these phones are really at top tier cameras.

They can take great pictures so if you're just trying to take photos, you're not going to go wrong with either of them. As far as video goes that's kind of debatable, because on one hand the OnePlus 9 pro has a higher max in general being able to shoot 8k at 30 frames per second versus the a52, 5g being only able to shoot 4k. That being said, the OnePlus 9 pro and the front-facing camera can only shoot 1080p versus 4k as well in the a525g. So it really depends on if you want the best possible quality in your videos. The OnePlus 9 pro is going to have a higher max, but the a525g it can shoot 4k in the front-facing camera.

I can't really imagine a situation where someone would need that high of a resolution in the front-facing camera, but just keep that in mind. It really will vary based on your needs, but I would give the camera advantage overall to the OnePlus 9 pro because of its higher max quality in videos and the extra features like a telephoto lens that it has that the a525g doesn't have internally. The Samsung Galaxy a525g is getting eight gigabytes of ram with the Qualcomm snapdragon 750 g processor. Now, if you get the version of this phone with 128 gigabytes of internal storage, you're going to be getting only six gigabytes of ram. The OnePlus 9 pro is getting 12 gigabytes of ram.

With the Qualcomm snapdragon 888 processors. We ran geek bench 5 benchmark tests on these phones and the a525g came back with a single core score of 647 and a multi-core score of 1939. The OnePlus 9 pro came back with a single core score of 1131 and a multi-core score of 35.55, so the OnePlus 9 pro is definitely going to be the more powerful device. You're going to be able to do a lot more on it, there's really not a lot. The Samsung Galaxy a52 5g can't do that.

The OnePlus 9 pro can but at the same time, when you're getting into those upper level activities like video editing with large files in high performance gaming, the OnePlus 9 pro is gonna, perform a lot better. To give you a better idea of what these phones look like in action, I'm going to do a little demonstration starting by opening their browsers. So, as you can see, both of them were really fast, but the OnePlus 9 pro was clearly faster. Let's open a web page and see if it's consistent, so there was a clear difference here. The OnePlus 9 pro was definitely a little faster than the a525g.

Now keep in mind that this is just a basic activity that pretty much any phone is usually going to do just about the same. So the fact that it was so clear that the OnePlus 9 pro was more powerful just shows how much of a difference there's going to be when you get to more high-end tasks like high-performance gaming, for example, when you're doing something that's really taxing on the processor. Not only is the OnePlus 9 pro going to be better than far as processing power goes, but the ram is so much higher that it's going to be able to handle multiple things at once, better than the a525g. Now, as far as the battery goes, these phones do have the same size battery with the 4 500 William hour battery. So I wouldn't say: there's a lot of a difference there now, in conclusion, which of these phones is better overall, the OnePlus 9 pro does have pretty much every advantage over the Samsung Galaxy a52 5g.

Not only does it have a better quality display, it's bigger with a higher resolution, but it also has extra features like wireless charging, a slightly faster fingerprint scanner, a huge advantage when it comes to the camera and a much faster processor. Now that being said, the a52 5g is not a bad phone by any means, if you're not going to be doing super high performance activities. If you just want to take perfect photos, good videos and do a little of gaming here and there and then other than that, just basic phone activities, you're going to be fine with the Samsung Galaxy a525g, it's a 5g phone, that's already great, and if you don't need the extra processing power, then the differences aren't really going to affect you very much. But if you need the best of the best when it comes to video quality- and you want the extra processing power and a higher resolution, then the OnePlus 9 pro is most likely going to be more satisfying for you. But I hope you guys enjoyed the video if you did be sure to leave a thumbs up and subscribe, and I'll see you guys in the next one.
