Samsung Galaxy A30s Special Edition unboxing and overview By South African Tech Youtuber

Hi YouTube, I, hope, you're doing well today, I'm going to be doing a quick unboxing of the Samsung Galaxy, a 30s and I just a quick overview as well. So I purchased this phone in South Africa. So for those of you are going to buy this phone in South Africa. You get this special edition with the celebrity. So if we look at the box here, there's this additional paper over it, because it's a special edition, I think the different stuff that you get on. The special edition is just you know, different wallpapers and different alarms, so nothing major, but for the rest of you, this is how the Box all will look.

We have the phone here the nothing else as we can see at the back of the phone. It's an infinity, V display triple camera and on-screen fingerprint and yes, there are the specifications. The model that I have here is the 128 gigabyte model. There is a 64 gigabyte, as well as a 32 gigabyte model, so this phone comes in at about four and a half thousand and or about 5000 yen. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to unbox it, and I'll just get back to you in a minute.

Okay, so I've managed to remove the seals in the box. So let's see what we get in the box. So if we remove this here, we see the device itself here we will get back to that. I'll get back to that. In a minute we see that we've got a fast charger.

It's a 15 watt, fast charger, 9 volts at 1.6 7?m. So it's about 15 point 2 watts. We've got a semi ejected to see a USB type-c cable, which is nice, and we've got some cheap earphones as well, and if I look in the box here, just broke that anyway, at least they've. Given us, it's quite nice they've given us a clear case as well and a warranty card, so see what else is in the box here, no, nothing else so the device that, let me just put all of this aside, so the one that I got here is it is the violet color. So, as you can see, it looks quite nice quite unique and let me switch it on okay, so I'm going to get this phone started up, and then I'll be back with you again in a minute: okay, guys, so I've completed the setup of this phone.

So if we look at the skinny- and this is a six point- four-inch screen with the waterfall kind of notch at the top- if we look on the right-hand side of the phone yeah, we've got the the power on/off switch with a volume up and volume down, nothing else there. If we look on the left-hand side of this phone, we've got the semi-jacketed tool, and if this phone here I got here in South Africa from Viacom, which is a carrier, so it's not going to be dual SIM. Let me just show you what is in here. It's probably gonna, be one NATO SIM and a micro SD card, but for those of you are probably gonna, get it from elsewhere. I'm assuming you, you will, you'll be able to get a dual SIM as well.

So there we go so micro SD card and one NATO. Some okay I'll put this in a little later. Anyway. If we look on the top of the phone here, we've got a noise-cancelling microphone and nothing else, and at the bottom we've got with. Oh that's, nice we've got a headphone jack, which is a dying breed in this day and age.

We've got a USB type-c, which is also good. Another microphone and the speaker, so Internets look at the specification of this phone. So this phone here has a six point. Four-inch screen: it's a 720p display other things to look at as well. This phone was released in about August.

If 19 it was available in September and the phony, you can get it in single sim or dual sim. Like I said it's an it. The good thing is its a Super AMOLED display which obviously because it's a Samsung phone it comes with Super AMOLED, so the blacks will be very dark. You know, Samsung displays are superb. They excellent so I'm, like I, said it's a 720p, so no 1080p, which so type in 20 P, is not that great.

But because it's a Super AMOLED screen, it still looks quite decent. So this phone here is Felicia to operating system the software. The phone is running on one UI version, 1.5 an android version 9, but I'm almost certain this phone will be getting the Android can update very, very soon. And if you look at the chipset that the phone is, it has the Enos 7904, the mid-range kind of processor, it's outscore processor and the GPU is a Mali g71. The phone comes in a couple of variants.

You get a 32 gigabyte model with 3 gigabytes of RAM. You get a 64 gigabyte model with 4 gigabytes of RAM and 128 gig storage with 4 gigabytes of RAM. So that's the model that I have here and that's the one I suggest in this day and age I think it's. You need to get 128 gigs. So let's just double-check that if I go to storage here, yes, so already, twinning gigs is used with the operating system.

So you would have about 108, gigs or so, and there we go. One hundred and seven point: eight gigs out of the box to use Plus you can. You can expand the storage with a micro SD card which is great they import. Another important thing to look at in this phone is the cameras we see. We have couple cameras here, which is great for a cheap phone like this.

We've got a twenty-five megapixel main sense sensor with F 1.7 aperture we've got an 8 megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 5 megapixel depth sensor. The video is, you can record at 1080p with 30 frames per second. So let me have a look at this camera. Let's put this little swim, ejector tool here, so we've got there, we go, we've got the wide-angle lens, really, really wide. Looks nice as well, and we've got the zoom, not the zoom, sorry, the normal non-normal sensor, so it looks quite decent.

We've got the other modes, live focus, video slow-motion as well so and the selfie camera we've got a 16 megapixel selfie camera with f 2.0 aperture, and you can video at 1080p at 30 frames per second other features of this phone. It at least has a 3.5 millimeter headphone jack, and it also has Bluetooth 5.0 another feature: this phone has is an FM radio as well I think you can listen to FM radio yeah with without headphones, but I'll just double-check that, and you've got at least a Type C cable, which is nice. The sensors that this phone has it has in display fingerprint sensor it's an optical sensor, so not as good as like the Samsung Galaxy S 10 s, 10 Plus, which has it's another sensor, not an optical one, but at least with the optical one. It shines light, so you can at least put a screen protector on here, and it won't give so many problems with the S skin, which has the other in display. Since you have to get a very specific type of tempered glass for it to work.

So that's quite nice and this phone also comes pre-installed with a tempered glass screen protector. Another important thing: what this phone is the battery. It has a four thousand William hour battery, and it has fast dialing in 15 watts. It comes in various different colors. You can get a prism crash, black presume, crush white prism crash clean in the one that I have.

Is that present crash violet? So basically it comes in black white, green and violet. I. Think violet is quite unique. White is also quite nice, so yeah in South Africa. The phone is going for about four and a half five thousand friends.

You can get it overseas for about two hundred and ten dollars or 180 pounds or 200 euros and in India you'll be able to get it for around eleven thousand five hundred rupees, so guys I hope you enjoyed this video.
