Samsung Galaxy A21 vs Samsung Galaxy A50!!! Speed Test Comparison. By CV Tech

Hey everyone RJ here welcome back to the channel, and today I'll be doing a speed test comparison between the Samsung Galaxy a21 and the Samsung Galaxy a50, okay, so the a21 and the a50 both of these here are on the straight talk network. Now. Currently, I believe at the time of this video, the 821 for straight talk is still going for 99. walmart. com, don't hold me to that. Just check prices for yourself the galaxy the Simpson galaxy a50 is going for.

I think around 179. Math double check that there as well so a difference about 80. Here this phone here came out in 2020, the 850 came out in 2019, so yeah. Let's go ahead right now and get started with the boot up test, starting now, all right there we go a21 galaxy 850, but a bit of difference here in sizes, as you can tell here on the screen, but we're going to first just see which one powers up first, my bet is going to be on the a50, but hey who knows right so uh just wait here and see, and I think it's going to be the a50 and behind it there is the galaxy a21. Okay, so we're on the app opening page here now, just a few specs here, the galaxy a21 has a 6.5 inch. IPS lcd is 720x1600 with a 20 by 9 aspect ratio with 270 pixels per inch.

The galaxy 850 has a 6.4 inch super AMOLED 1080 by 2340, with a 19 by 5 by 9 aspect ratio with 403 pixels per inch. Now the galaxy a21 runs the MediaTek hello p35 outscore processor, with three gigabytes of ram and 32 gigabytes of onboard storage, whereas the galaxy a50 runs the Amos 9610 outscore processor, with four gigabytes of ram and 64 gigabytes of on-board storage. Of course, there are different variations between two devices if you buy them unlocked or whatever. This is the straight talk version for both phones. So that's what you're getting now both of these phones do run android 10 and there is no comparison to the screen quality between the a21 and the a50 super AMOLED here and the IPS lcd over here.

Normally I don't have a problem wit hip lcds, but Samsung's done a horrible job on the a21. I said it before I'll say it again, I'll get more hate for that, but I really don't care, I'm just telling you the truth here that the a21 display is poor um compared to other displays I've seen from the series of Samsung devices. So I'm doing that out there. You know, that's just how I do things now: let's go ahead right now and check out some geek bench five scores now here on the a21 you'll, see a single core score of 169 and a multi-core score of 997 and on the a50, a single core score of 347 and a multi-core score of 1324. So really, there's no competition here between the two devices here when it comes to benchmarks, however, benchmarks are just what they are they're benchmark tests.

They do not indicate how your phone will work from day to day, so let's go ahead and get in with this test. Starting now that goes to the a50 YouTube. That's not even calculator that was the a50 calendar. That was the a50 clock, a50 target that goes to the a50 there as well. Okay, there we go Amazon, and I wasn't really looking, but I think the 850 took that one there as well Instagram, that was the a50 play store.

That was the 850 prime video that was even Snapchat. That was close twitter. That was definitely the a50 Netflix goes to the a50 temple run two. So let's see what happens here. No doubt the 850 is going to take this one here, but we'll just see about how much, so it's already started up here, it's beginning to load here on the a21, so you can see there's a considerable time difference there between opening these apps and a bit of a freeze there, which does that all the time, but let's go back home here and go into dead, trigger the a50, took that one by a long shot turn the volume down.

Here there we go, go back home, and now we'll go into PUBG mobile. So there you have it right there. That's the basic, app open and test we'll just see which one can power up pub g first, which we pretty much already know, but um we're gonna, see just by how much, and we're going to see here, um what happens so, hopefully it is set up on the a50. I want to do all of that again um, but yeah, so both of them would be. You know doing the same thing.

It's just that the 821 is behind and there we go. The a50 pretty much started up. First, there all these stupid x's, you got to press but yeah way ahead. Here it's still loading up here on the a21, as you can see, and after going through all the x's you got to press here I mean you can see that yeah. It is still much faster here on the galaxy 850 and so yeah there you go.

Let's go back home here, and now we will reopen these apps to see. You know how many reloads I mean three gigabytes of ram here, 64 gigabytes of ram over here you know a much more powerful processor here in the a50, but let's just see what happens, starting with pub g, so both of them there were open. Let's just try to close these back out of here. Sometimes you guys don't want to register all the way dead trigger both were open. Now, we'll go into temple, run two reload there on the a21 Netflix, both of them kind of reloaded there.

On that one twitter, there you go Snapchat open had to reload on the a21 prime video you're, seeing that there reloading about everything on the 821 so far, we're pretty good. Here a little slow, a little reload there, but there you're, seeing it even the clock has to reload on the 821. Both are reloaded there on the 850, with the count with the calendar on the f50 and 821 YouTube reload on both and the bible reloaded on both as well. So you know there you go, you have a bit better experience with the app other with the ram management here on the galaxy a50, and you know after using these phones. I can tell you that the know that the performance on the a50 is going to be much better than the a21.

I mean the 9610 uh icons processor, with the extra ram, the extra storage the super AMOLED display has better cameras than the a21 does uh. You got a triple camera set up here on the a50, a quad camera setup here, but that don't really mean anything um. You know when it comes to how much better the cameras are on the 850 versus the 821. Now, like I said these tests here, don't really prove anything, and I'm just sitting here on the same network. You know open it up side by side and see which one gets there faster.

It's not scientific. It's not. You know proven it's just a test side by side. You know the price wise 821 is still 99 dollars. I do believe, and the a50 is between 179 and 200, I'm really not sure um.

You have to go on there and kind of just research, your prices uh from walmart. com. These are straight talk devices, so you can find them cheaper online, other retailers or whatever the case may be, but this is just a no test.
