Samsung Galaxy A20s Camera Test | Watch before you buy (English Subtitles) By PhoneYear

I’ll be showing you the camera performance of Samsung Galaxy A20s which will make the buying decision easier for you. So let’s start the camera review but first if you are new to this channel please subscribe & press the bell icon to get notified about new videos Galaxy A20s has a triple camera setup at the back including 13MP wide, 8MP ultra-wide, and 5MP depth sensor which is used for bouquet effects. On the front, there is an 8MP lens for selfies. The phone’s camera interface is the same as other Samsung devices where we get photo, ultra-wide, live focus, video, and other modes.

Samsung Galaxy A20s captures natural colors in auto mode & doesn’t try to oversaturate or overexpose the colors but it also can’t capture any particular detail of the subject. If you zoom a little into the image, it gets pixelated and shows considerable noise. The camera of Samsung Galaxy A20s behaves inconsistently sometimes as you can see in these three images that although taken at the same time, show different details, colors, and exposure level. If you zoom into the images, you can notice different facial details especially the far-right image is overly processed making it seem artificial Samsung Galaxy A20s has an 8MP lens for Ultra-wide images. The images taken with Ultra-wide show a little high exposure level as compared to auto mode.

Here, we again get fewer details in the image and as you can see in the picture, the phone failed to capture the details of the grass, making it look flat. For bouquet effect in the images, the phone has a 5MP depth sensor whose performance is also unsatisfactory. Though it captured true colors in the image, when zoomed in, the cup’s edges were seen to be merged into the background and some part of the center was also blurred which didn’t look good. The live focus mode of Samsung Galaxy A30s shared the same problem. This image, taken with Galaxy A30s, also shows some parts of the subject merged with the background and the same issue persists in other pictures taken by Galaxy A20s.

With Galaxy A20s, you can zoom by up to 4x which is done through the phone’s software that crops the image. Again, you will be disappointed with the result as pictures taken with 4x zoom are flat Galaxy A20s has captured very few details and the colors also washed out. The noise level also increases as you zoom into the picture, as you can see in the image, the deer's horns have been merged into the background. Also, the 4x image wasn’t taken from a long distance if you compare it with the picture taken in auto mode. Galaxy A20s doesn’t show good camera performance at night as it captures fewer details and and struggles to focus against direct light.

As you can see, the image taken at night is flat and the noise level is quite high. If you zoom a little on the left side, you’ll notice that some parts are pixelated whereas the trees and light poles are merged together. However, the building has seen the worst treatment; not only is it blurred, but the camera has also changed its entire color tone. If you zoom into the top left side of the building, you can observe that it is merged into the background. We see some improvements in ultra-wide shots; firstly we see less noise level as compared to auto mode and it has also captured better colors.

By zooming in we can notice that the lights at the top of the building are captured better as they were blurry in auto mode. Here you can compare to see the differences between the two images but you cannot call the ultra-wide image good by any standard Friends, we recommend that you do not use 4x zoom of Galaxy A20s at night as the image taken in this mode shows a lot of noise giving us a flat picture with washed-out colors. So, this was the account of Galaxy A20s’ rear cameras now moving to the front camera, it captures better selfies with good details and colors in the day time. At night, the quality of selfies is quite mundane where the details are very few and the noise quite high as you can see in this zoomed image. Galaxy A20s can record 1080p videos with its rear cameras In this video, you can check the details, colors, and sounds captured by A20s but the result is quite the same as still images.
