Samsung Galaxy A11 - 111 Days Later!

So, it's been 111 days since I first got my hands on Samsung's galaxy a11, an affordable smartphone, which I can definitely see as the next phone for you or for someone you know in this video. I want to talk to you about some new experiences. I've had with the a11 over the past four months and find out whether this phone is the right choice for you or a loved one. Considering all the smartphone options Samsung provides, let's get started so starting with what makes the a11 such a compelling consideration price. At the time of this video, the galaxy a11, which comes in black blue red and this white color here and in configurations of 32 or 64 gigabytes of storage and two or three gigabytes of ram, is around 180. You are getting some excellent value for your money here.

In exchange for that price, you are getting a 6.4 inch display a greatly sized 4 000 William hour battery fast charging to keep that battery going and Samsung's one UI 2.0, which has been a great software experience on all the Samsung devices. I've used from budget to flagship. We also have a lot of small things going right here that anyone considering this phone will definitely enjoy, including the likes of a headphone jack nicely rounded and slim bezels around the display, a hole punch cut out for the front-facing camera in the upper left corner, which does a good job of keeping out of the way of whatever you're viewing and a physical fingerprint scanner on the back of the phone for quick and consistent unlocking. So then, what's missing on this a11 to get it to its more affordable price point, the most noticeable difference you will find here compared to the rest of the galaxy. A series is the lack of an AMOLED display which provides more vibrant, colors and deeper blacks compared to the traditional LCD, or in this case TFT display.

The a11's non-amoled 720p display, of course looks less impressive when compared side by side, with some of Samsung's. Other phones like the galaxy a31, 51 and 71, which all boast 1080p AMOLED displays. But these options are, of course, more expensive. Something else that makes any Samsung a series phone less expensive is the plastic backed design, and the a11 is no exception to this. Most of the other.

A series phones have a bit more flair to them with their colorful reflective backings, depending on which color you decide on getting, whereas the a11 has a pretty plain design. More importantly, though, durability may not be a stronger suit of a phone like this, with the lack of metal sidings, as you can see here on my galaxy a71, getting a decent dent on one of its corners after a drop on the sidewalk by my clumsy self. With that said, I would highly recommend getting a case for any of these phones. Should you decide to get one another important compromise worth mentioning? Is the lack of official certification of water and dust resistance, but in my personal experience and after hearing from many of you, the viewers experiences, your phone will be okay as long as it's not dropped in the sink toilet or a body of water. I have gotten caught in the rain many times with this a11 and I haven't seen any compromises to the device.

As a result, compromises aside, there are a few great things going for the a11 which I have thoroughly enjoyed over the past four months, the first and foremost being the 6.4 inch display. It may not be the highest resolution and have the most vibrant colors, like other Samsung phones, but in day-to-day use it has been an enjoyable experience and what really stood out to me is that the a11 display gets quite bright, with the display being viewable, even in direct sunlight. More importantly than that, though, the most impressive area of this phone is the battery life. The combination of the 720p resolution display the snapdragon 450 processors and the 4 000 William hour battery, give this phone incredible battery life in the process of creating this video and attempting to demonstrate what the a11 is capable of. I couldn't even come close to draining the battery after eight and a half hours of screen on time still having about 30 battery after an insane amount of usage, the a11 is a phone.

You won't need to charge nearly as often as the other phones mentioned in this video, giving you at least two days of heavy use and upwards of a week of light use, and when you do need to charge back up, it can quickly be done thanks to the 15 watt, fast charger included with the a11, getting you from zero to 100 in about an hour and a half, but with all specifications aside. What is actual day-to-day usage like on the a11? Something to keep in mind with this phone is that it is a bit slower than other phones. I have used over the years. The a11 sometimes doesn't instantly wake up after you've been away from it for a while navigating the phone once you're into it can be sluggish at times and more intensive tasks like gaming can be a challenge playing a passive game like old school RuneScape is possible here, but a game like Call of Duty mobile will give you enough problems to the point of it not being the best experience. The camera quality is just okay, nothing spectacular here, but it will get the job done if you're, in a pinch for a quick photo or video and the single bottom firing speaker certainly doesn't get as loud as some of the more expensive phones mentioned in this video users at a much more manageable price.

In this head-to-head video we are going to see which of these phones stack, but again it gets the job done for social media and watching YouTube videos. Phone calls are great with a loud earpiece and good microphone, so that you and the caller on the other end, can hear each other clearly, no matter how you use the a11, though the rounded design and feel of the phone in your hand, is excellent and having a physical fingerprint scanner on the back of the phone in my opinion, makes it a much more consistent and reliable way to get into your device. So after 111 days of usage with the galaxy a11. My final verdict is this: if you're looking for a phone with a large display to take care of your general needs without ever having to worry about your battery dying on you, then the a11 is perfect for you. The lower price also makes this an excellent option.

If you are looking to get a new phone for your child's first phone or simply getting a new phone for a parent grandparent or a loved one, if you are looking to get more out of your smartphone, then I would definitely recommend checking out some videos on the other phones mentioned in this video. But for the price of a hundred eighty dollars, I can highly recommend the galaxy a11. But what are your thoughts on the Samsung Galaxy a11?
