Hey guys welcome back to Brock nation and in this video I'm going to show you how to transform to this phone into a PC. So, let's jump right in whoa. Let me shoot filming. This is what it's come to, and I'm in my pajamas by the way, just in case you're wondering so all you're gonna need for this is a Samsung device. Essayed onwards. You're going to need a dongle to convert from u.

s. PC to HDMI and USB s and keyboard and mouse. This can be wired or Wireless. I chose Wireless because it looks a lot cleaner and is more portable. Of course, you're also going to need a monitor to be able to view the displayed screen on to because it projects the image through HDMI.

Now, in my opinion, this is the best setup that you can get to get the most minimalistic design and without taking up a lot of space. This is from Logitech we're gonna, be linking it down in the description for you guys to check out spoiler alert. This thing is a beast and can handle a lot of apps at the same time, and you can do crazy amounts of multitasking I'm gonna talk about this a little later. So let me not get ahead of myself, so the dongle I was talking about, is gonna, be in the description below it, supports HDMI, USB and also USB, see force pass-through charging, so you can charge your device while you're using it, as you can see it there. If you were to connect this to any other smartphone with USB, see nothing would happen, and when you get a Samsung phone, you can do a lot of things since HDMI connected, and you can see the screen replicate itself, but you can also scroll down from the notifications to enable Samsung text.

So every single time you connect that now it's going to trigger Samsung text. Obviously you got all of your notifications and everything that you would get on your phone, but with the additional capability of getting a keyboard, mouse support and also monitor and all the key binds do work. So you can do control a to select all virtual, be to bold text control you to underline anything of the sort, anything that you can think of works seamlessly. You can even get away with shortcuts, like control, 1 control, toolkit well 3 to go through different apps, and if you press control W, it closes the taps the same as it would on a PC. Alt tab can help you shift through different applications same as on a PC which is crazy to think about a phone being able to do that.

Now. If you go to a website, it does take you to the mobile version. But if you request desktop side, it feels like you're on a PC there's, absolutely no difference. It's exactly like being on a PC. Closing on applications would be same as a phone.

You have the X button to click out if you want to, but you can get away with crazy amount of multitasking, like I mentioned earlier right now, we're how many apps, at the same time, one two three or apps at the same time, the limit for me as I found through this is five applications open simultaneously and here's. What happens if you open an additional application after the fifth one, it says, cannot show more than five apps, and it closes the previous app. In the background, you can also close all apps at the same time as you would on the phone. As far as sound is concerned, the sound comes out through the phone at first, but you can switch it to come out through the HDMI monitor in turn, coming out through your speakers, which is exactly what I do here. I can control the sound, and it feels like I'm using a personal computer and a home entertainment system and sounds very, very good.

The sound quality is very nice, obviously because you're coming up through those speakers, so when it comes to actual productivity, there's a lot you can do with this. The RAM on this and the processor is a beast. So it's able to open multiple files. At the same time, you can access all the different files on your phone since I. Don't have Photoshopped I wanted to create a nice little template for myself to post on Instagram stories.

Here's a picture I took with my phone and I uploaded it into this bone and open it on camera, using Samsung text, and I'm able to look through different fonts. The app works seamlessly I wanted to write in coming soon, maybe tease the video a little, and then you can just export to Instagram stories directly. It launches Instagram for you with the post created, and then you can just post it up right from there without having to close your app transfer it to your phone or anything like that. It's also seamless you can do sheets you can do calendar invites you can do everything you could do in a PC and if there's an app that supports it, you can restart it in the desktop mode, and it launches Skype, for example. Here's another example of sheets where I'm doing a basic.

Some addition thing, you know: I, don't use Excel a lot, but this is what I was trying to show you guys. You have multiple things like data validation that you can implement as well same as you would on sheets on PC this conditional formatting. Here's an example of me doing some stuff. If a number's, whatever just look through this guy's I, don't know I'm, just going to show you that this stuff works. Obviously for a majority of people.

Emails is a big thing, so you can reply to emails. Seamlessly feels a lot better, because the app is optimized for deaths. Now, I wanted to play games on this as well to test it out, because I knew some people would ask, so I'm trying a very basic game.2:04 if I set a timer for 5 minutes. Just because I wanted to play, and I got too into it, played it for a little longer, but yeah so seamless, guys like it really does feel like I'm on a PC, and I'm, not on the phone. Moving on to a little heavier work.

I want to edit a video right there on the phone itself, I shot this on the phone and I wanted to edit on the app I was using. Was the loan going to link it in the description as well? I feel like this is the best app for editing on the phone, and it took a few minutes. I didn't do some crazy, editing, just a few cuts, and then you can export it out very fast because of that processor again and that's the exported video here's what it looks like when exporting really quick guys if you watch this video so far, and you find our content a little interesting to you- do consider subscribing for more content just like this. Here's me watching some Sherlock on Netflix using my smartphone, and you can basically connect this to your TV and watch it on the TV as well with sound systems. It sounds very good, looks very good, and you can basically get away with everything you could on a PC, except for those crazy heavy apps. Maybe you wouldn't be able to like to edit full-fledged videos, no after-effects work, but for the most part it's able to handle almost everything I have been using this as my office laptop for a week, and the performance has been really great. I've been using things like sheets Skype, messaging, Instagram, YouTube management. Everything has been done through this phone and I have to say, with that RAM and processor it's been able to handle it.

Just like my laptop would even avoid a little of luck. That I think my laptop would have had, especially when I'm doing things like sheets. My laptop definitely lags out a lot and when we have documents that are shared across four different people, it does lag out a lot. But using this I haven't experienced any luck whatsoever and also the multitasking capability on. This has been very fun to play with you guys, I've seen I've been running five apps at the same time, and it's been doing really well a handle like that.

Samsung has its dedicated decks, don't know which wirelessly charges the phone, while you're connected to the HDMI I, think that one's a little more expensive. That's why I went for the cheaper option. I got this just for a hundred bucks off of Lazada, so I'm going to link that in the description as well, for you guys to check that out, and it does basically everything that you need. As long as you have an HDMI input, Samsung text will be triggered on an HDMI device, so you don't really need the decks.
