Yo, what's up everybody, it's your boy floss back again with another video, and today we're gonna, take a look at the Nubia red magic 5s. Now this is a beast gaming phone. Now you can pick this up from red magic. GG I'll, throw the link-up in the description. The price on this one starts at 579 bucks. I repeat, 579 bucks! Now it comes in two colors.

You got sonic silver and pulse all right. So let's go through all the specs for the display. You got a 6.65 inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1080 by 2340 that has 388 for the PPI patrol. You got gorilla glass on the front and on the back you got a 144h refresh rate with 300 touch sensing. Now let me say that again you got a 144 hertz refresh rate, not 90 hertz, like the mi 10 pro, not 120 hertz, like the Galaxy Note, 20 a 144 hertz refresh rate.

That's why I say this is a gaming beast for the processor, get the Qualcomm snapdragon 865 with the arena 650 GPU? What does that mean in English flagship, specs, bro flagship specs? Now you got 8 or 12 gigs of ram 128 or 256 gigs of storage, no micro SD card slot for expandable memory. Now this phone features the trinity cooling system. So you got active liquid cooling, you got a built-in turbofan, and you got the ice dock support. So that's the holy trinity of cooling systems for a gaming phone. Now I'm going to show you how dope that is in a minute for the battery, you got a 4500mah battery that features 55 watt fast charge all right, not 25 watt.

Like your Galaxy Note, 20 55 watt fast charge, so that's zero to fifty percent in 15 minutes, zero to a hundred percent and 43 minutes. Think about that for the cameras on the rear. You got a triple set up. You got a 64 megapixel wide angle, an 8 megapixel ultra-wide and a 2 megapixel macro on the front. Furthermore, you got an 8, megapixel wide angle lens.

Now the phone features dual stereo speakers you got gaming triggers you got a dedicated game space. You get NFC, always on display, face unlock on-screen, fingerprint sensor and a headphone jack. All of that for 579 bucks, let's go first things. First, shout out to white shoes back in the building. I love my white shoes.

So let's do it one time on the front of the box got some nice little gaming images. This looks like uh Iron Man or one of those destiny characters fighter jets. I just looks like I don't know some, maybe a mega man character. I don't know, I don't know now the side. Note one more side note, usually when I test gaming phones, I play these little games like asphalt.9, no, not today, all right today we're going to do some real gaming, and I'm going to show you how beast mode this gaming phone is. Let's see, did we miss anything snapdragon, 865, blah blah blah.

This phone is 5g compatible. Now for the ram, it's LP ddr5 right, LP, ddr5, new coolant design, turbofan included liquid system. Like I said, the holy trinity of phone cooling. Here we go let's unbox this now inside. This is going to be your red magic 5s check this out now, like I said it comes in two colors sonic silver, which is kind of like a gray color, and this is pulse all right.

So pulse is the red and blue theme. Let's do the smell test on this one, real, quick that was scared, shoes away. This one smells like Xbox all right. This one smells like Xbox Live because that's how we're going to test this phone? Let's see what else we got on deck, all right, a little tray right here now. This should be your okay.

Let's open this one up check this out, this is gonna, be I know I scared shoes away. That was one of the real smell tests. This is USB-C the USB type-c red color cables. I dropped that to the side. I see anything else to handle, that's it for this box.

This is gonna, be your 55 watt fast charging, brick. Let's see anything else, all right, that's it for that and of course you got your sim ejection tool, that's usual books and pluck them and follow them, and you get a case. Let's see what kind of case this is now, basically just a gel skin case. Nothing fancy on this one, let's slap it on real quick, but it does have protection for the bumpers, the corners. Let's see all the cutouts buttons, cutouts nice amount of creativity on this one, so it's slam board certified now back to the red magic 5s.

Let's get a little wipe down check this out now, of course, gaming phones, ain't for everybody. You know they usually have this funky kind of patterns or designs to them, but if you're into gaming phones you're going to love this one, there's your triple camera setup on over here put your LED flash on the top there's. Your gaming triggers actually got two of this touch. Sensitive triggers. There's one of your cooling vents.

You've got your power button volume up and down on the other side. This is your dedicated game. Uh game space switch got another cool event. This is your pin dock system for your accessories on the bottom speaker, grille USB type-c charging slot got a mic on the top headphone jack Samsung apple headphone jack, google, headphone jack. Let's keep it alive, my little mic on deck, dual stereo speakers: let's hit the power button now, like I said, I've been using this phone for over a week now whenever I say that some people think I'm lying, but let me show you something real, quick.

Let's give it a wipe down on the front I'll, let you all see the boot up. Watch this animation. All right. Let me throw in my password real quick check out the animation, we'll turn this off turn it back on fingerprint sensor. Real smooth everything is all set up already, so I'm going to pause the video.

Let me just delete my browsing history switch over to my Wi-Fi in the basement, and we'll walk through the OS talk amongst yourselves. All right, josh will be back in now, like I said, I've been using this phone for about two weeks and I got to keep it real job on a scale of one to ten. This is a major major major go and at 579 bucks, as bob barker would say, the price is right: let's break it down. First up build quality, gorilla glass on the front and on the back, the phone is definitely a little heavy, but it feels ultra premium now again, as far as the looks everybody's not into gaming phones, but if you're a hardcore, gamer you're going to love this design. Like I said I went with the pulse color, I love the red and blue theme: little red magic, insignia, no RGB lights on the back, but it is what it is now there's a couple of different ways: you can open up the device real quick before you even look at that notice, always on display.

Now this is just one of many always on displays that you can choose from. I like this one, because usually I got my phone on the dock like this, so I like having a big clock, but it looks dope a couple of different ways: you're going to open up the device you can swipe up. Put in your pattern, your pin. You got your on-screen fingerprint sensor which works flawlessly. Let's do that again, bong.

Do it one more time bong just like that, and you got face unlock now face unlock on this. One is superfast watch this now, I'm not looking at it no face detected. Now I'm going to look at it. Bong. Look at that one more! Let me look away no face detected, I'm gonna! Look at it now, bang! I love it all right now.

Keep this in mind. I said this before, and I'm going to keep saying it. You don't have to spend a thousand bucks for a flagship phone. This is flagship status right here now the only hit you might take is the camera. That's going to be the difference between this and the Galaxy Note 20 ultra yeah you're, going to have a better camera with the galaxy notes, but as far as performance battery life battery charging speed the speakers the overall experience.

This is half the price 579 bucks. This is a beast all right now, if you look at the top 144 hertz refresh rate, you see it in the top 144 hertz. Now, you're not going to be able to see it on the video, but that means the scrolling speed on this phone is buttery smooth. I was just about to say that look like my brother, all right. Let's see, um hold up uh.

My brother just passed my brother passed away in 1992, so I just got emotional real, quick wow. I have never seen this one wow okay anyway, that one kind of hurt me just now yeah anyway, look at the scrolling speeds superfast super smooth. I'm sorry! Furthermore, I just got a loss for words. Superfast super, smooth, beautiful, beautiful all right. Let me bring it back.

Let me bring it back. Where was it all right? Let's run through the settings real quick! Now you got your basic toggles. I got your auto rotate. You got your flashlight split screen. Multitasking you got screen record screenshot got your docking station.

Take it over to settings now, I'm going to do this part quick. You got Bluetooth and NFC, okay or matter of fact, I'm using the three back buttons. Let's see uh, you got VPNs private DNS all right. So if you're going to take this phone out of town, you want to do some illegal streaming or legal game downloading VPN's property- and this is on deck. Let's see, let's go to uh display all right now.

This is max brightness and I will say this: let me just exit out real, quick, the brightness level on this. Let me pull up a website. Let's see what do I have? That's that's safe to pull up. I know, let's go to Amazon, let's go to official website the brightness on this excellent. All right now I don't know exactly how many knits super bright and, like I said, with the AMOLED panel you're, going to get that premium experience not to mention the 144 hertz scrolling speed feels like butter.

Let's see, let's go to refresh rate now you got 60 hertz, all right peasant mode. You got 90 hertz regular status, and you got the big ROG 144 hertz refresh rate. This is a gaming phone. So if you want a game, you want that higher refresh rate leave it on 144 hertz. You got dark mode matter of fact.

Let's turn off dark mode for the video you got, a notification led now. Notification led is on the top. It's pretty small by the fact. Let me see if I got a charger real, quick I'll. Let you all see how that looks we'll charge this up.

You see a little red light that just popped on all right. There's your notification led one more time, bong there it is now. I know if you can hear that watch this. This phone has a built-in turbofan. I'm going to put it right by the mic watch when I plug it in you're going to hear the fan turn on you hear that built-in fan inside the phone.

This is sick. This is sick. All right. Where was we letting's go to uh? Okay, always on display. Now, like I said, a bunch of different always on displays to choose from, I got that big giant clock, but if you want to you can have something small like this: we'll leave it on this one.

You don't need that big giant clock, but a bunch of different ones you can choose from. You can also do custom. Furthermore, you can add your own picture. Add your own design go crazy. Lets uh! What am I doing all right? Let's go back out of that.

Uh launch the lock screen, nothing to really see there. Let's go to sounds all right check this out bro! Oh, the speakers on this phone right. The speakers on this phone are insanely loud all right now, as far as the quality of the speakers not the best quality in the world, but these are dope, nice and loud all right, dope, nice and loud extra loudspeakers. I love it. Let's, let's exit out of that.

Okay, let's see anything else, let's go to cooling fan now, if you want, you can have the cooling fan come on intelligently, all right. So when the phone needs it you're going to have fast cooling, and you can also set the timers. Now speaking of cooling fans for 44 bucks, you could buy this. This is the ice dock all right. So, let's pop this one open real, quick I'll, show you how this looks.

I'm going to test it out when we do a little of gaming. Let's see, do we miss anything of course, usual books and no need to see that this one comes with the USB type-c. Charging cable actually comes with a double uh double cable, so you got USB the USB type-c USB type-c USB type-c, the USB type c. You got a little grip right here, I'm going to save those two of those, and this is going to be your USB type-c charging cable, basically how this works is as such. Alright, so you're going to find the pins on the bottom you're going to slap this right on just like that now you also have an USB type-c input, so you can still charge up your phone, and you got a headphone jack now you also have another USB type-c somewhere.

I thought it was two USB type-c. So maybe it's this. I will figure this out in a minute, but basically this is an external fan all right. So this is part of the holy trinity of cooling systems. This is just a straight-up external fan.

How crazy is that? So now you can have your phone plugged in you could be gaming and cool. Your phone at the same time, if you're into that hardcore supreme gaming, we're gonna play with that in a minute all right. Let's see where was we holding up? Let's go back to uh settings. You got ROG clone time-lapse, slow motion, panoramic macro, zoom, blur art, camera ID photos, phantom free zoom. I mean this is crazy. This is crazy.579 bucks you all keep it moving. You got fully functional pro mode. I change your white balance.

Change your focus, your shutter speed. Do your thing: you got regular photos all right, so this would be your wide angle, all the way up to maximum 10 times zoom. For the macro shots. Look! Look at my fingertip 10 times. Zoom you get the nice macro shots real nice.

You got videos with steady shot. Let's take it over to settings. Video resolution you got 4k 60 frames per second is max all right. So that's that's real nice change. Take the uh uh shutter sound off.

Why not for your clandestine photos? You got night mode, and you got portrait mode all right. So, let's take a look at some test, pictures and videos, so all right so now for the main event gaming. This is why this phone is a beast. Now, like I said, you got your game triggers on the top. If you want to use those, and you got dedicated game space, so we hit that switch gonna.

Take you into game space. Now from there, you have all your different games. I only have one downloaded asphalt.9. , you can add more if you want now from here, let's go over to uh your accessories. So this is your ice dock got your headphones, and you got your sports handle.

Take it over to settings all right. So you got a summary. You got your red magic time. You got your record settings. Furthermore, you got fan now check this out.

The fan is on you hear it. Spinning watch, I'm going to turn it off turns. Now, I'm going to do that right by the mic, so I can hear it. I'm going to turn it on the fan is running. This is pretty sick.

Let's see you got your net center all right control. Your networks got your lock, brightness floating window, display basic information, and you got your help exit out of that. Now again, you got a separate button right here. You can quickly toggle for cooling fan on and off, and you can block messages while you're into your gaming. Now I'm going to turn the cooler fan off for now and on a side note with the ice dock, it does have two USB type cs.

So once you connect this to your phone, you have it on the top. Let me modify. Let me show you how it's going to look real, quick you're going to have an USB on one side and an USB and a headphone jack on the other side, so, while you're gaming, you can have it plugged in and your headphones, or you can also have the USB from this side. That's pretty sick! Now, let's do some hardcore gaming. All right now, I'm using Xbox game pass.
