Hey everybody we're gonna, do a quick unboxing today of the razor phone to see. We got it here. One interesting thing: we bought this from Best Buy. It came with this sticker on it, attention store manager, not for retail sale, I believe it says. Apparently we got a demo unit. I, don't know if that's going to affect the contents, but we'll find out all right so open it up.
It's held on with magnets, which is cool, I, think they did that last year, little note from the co-founder razor again and there's a phone same footprint as last year. Same square brick I like that it folds open like a book. Literature is bigger than normal. Okay, so we got USB c2 headphone jack. Supposedly there is a perfect digital analogue converter in here is I.
Don't know you guys, probably can't see it, but that one says thanks on it. There is the USB-C 2 C chord, it's a braided cord, it's not just plastic, that's pretty nice and the big fat Walsh after hair. It is so here's the phone and, of course, everybody's favorite part. It's not stuck on it. Just splits apart, and I just noticed tension store manager, merchandising display unit, not freeze the force feedback on my keyboard is a really strong right off the bat there's a half a gig update right, that's the but Knights, and it feels about the same as last year.
It's its pretty Blacky. So if you don't like phones with hard edges, you know well-defined corners you're, not gonna, like it, I kind of like it. I think the size is nice I, like the fact that the speakers that are in here are actually quality speakers. So this all this space on the phone has a reason to be there. Unlike some other phones and I, like the back, is kind of just clean and weird designs or fingerprint readers or anything it just camera and then glass if it's hefty too.
It feels heavy for each size and then, of course, the fingerprint readers on the side, and it's part of the power button. Here we are at the main screen. This is basically the biggest feature of the phone. The screen is HDR compatible and has a 120 Hertz refresh rate. That's only supported by a certain few games.
You can find them in the special store, but the HDR is interesting because it works with Netflix. You can see the big Netflix banner right there. All the Netflix HDR shows you can watch in Full, HD are but other than that this isn't really a popular phone. It's aimed at gamers. Most people are never going to buy one, and it doesn't sell that well, honestly, because of that, it is interesting to note that the internal specs of this are almost exactly the same as the Galaxy Note 9, which for 200 dollars less than the note 9 might be an intriguing reason to buy this phone, but if you are a gamer or if the screen quality is your 100% most important thing, you look for on a phone, the razor phone ? might be a phone for you and if you buy one he'll be one of dozens.
