Purple iPhone 12 + AirTags Unboxing! By Krystal Lora

Hey guys its crystal happy spring, as you guys may know, apple announced a lot of things this week, two of which I have with me. We got those new colorful iMacs new iPad Pro with a Dr display, a new Apple TV, those we should see in May, but today I have that purple iPhone, 12, 12 mini to be exact and the long awaited air tags. So first I'm going to open up the iPhone 12 mini because internally nothing has changed. It's just a new spring color and you guys know I've been excited about a purple iPhone. So let's open up the phone first, we have a new spring case too, but let's go and see this phone in the nice little mini box, wow, oh wow, so it is more intense than the iPhone 11's purple. I thought when I first saw it.

I was like oh, it kind of reminds me of the lilac looking iPhone 11, but this is definitely a bit more intense. Furthermore, I love this. Furthermore, I painted my nails purple to see. If I matched the phone it doesn't quite match. It's definitely a beautiful, intense purple, which I actually like more like.

I didn't want it to be like a light, it's pastel, but it's its more intense than the iPhone 11. Wow. This is so cute. I love this color, so this is definitely spring vibes all the way, but it is worth mentioning as a reminder. We are months away from when apple typically announces a new iPhone.

So definitely keep that in mind. But if you are looking for a new phone, and you haven't picked one up yet, and you like the color purple a lot, this might be the phone for you because I have to say this is definitely this is my favorite iPhone 12 color now to match our purple iPhone. We also have a purple new spring case and you guys know how I feel about the spring accessories. I'm definitely going to be doing an accessory haul coming up, but hey. Let's take a look at this one.

First. This is one of the silicone cases. Oh, it has MagSafe too there. It is wow that is a beautiful combination of purple like that light and dark combo. That looks spotless.

I'm all about this, and now it's finally time to take a look at these air tags. I feel like you guys might have known this has been talked about for quite a bit now. But if you don't know, this is apple's new Bluetooth tracking device similar to a tile where you can attach it to one of your personal belongings, whether it be a backpack or a set of keys, anything that you can attach like a caring accessory to you can use this. So you can track that item, and it's part of apple's find my system. So if you used find my iPhone before, you can now use one of these with the find my ecosystem.

But let's open it up, I'm very, very curious to see just how small it is, how it feels what it looks like this is just a single pack. You can pick one of these up for 29. I believe air tag there. It is wow. Oh, it's like a glossy material on the outside and I pull this out to like activate it.

It made us out. Look at that has Apple logo. Here is this now the smallest apple product to date, literally like the size of like a quarter, it's so cute, so the 29 price tag is for the single air tag. You can also grab a four pack for a hundred dollars, so let's open these up along with some accessories. But let's see these first four packs of air tags.

Wow, is these. These are personalized. This one says ca is that for like California, or like what's the c name, colin Andrews, that's Colin Andrews! I don't know. Oh, this one says KLM crystal Laura. I don't know woman.

What is this one? The emoji one? This is my favorite personalization, so you can actually put these the apple emojis on your ear tag. You can't personalize it with every emoji, but they do have a quite good selection. I think I'm going to have to pick up a ROG emoji one, but look at the little unicorn on there. I love like the glossy and matte emoji, feel it's so cute. Now, let's take a look at the air tag accessories because by themselves they don't have any way to attach it to anything.

So you pick up one of these to add a key ring to it. There's also the loop accessories. So, let's open one up. This is the leather key ring. Do you guys know what I'm thinking, I'm just the day that apple releases, a vegan leather line like you are going to? You know like that that movie scene when people like scream- and you hear it in the whole world, like that's gonna, be me can't avoid it sometimes, but here it is first time dropping the air tag into the accessory.

Wow, fits like a glove look at that wait. I want to attach it to my keys there. It is oh look at that that looks so cute. The blue, with my p, pink key ring thing. Now, let's take a look at the air tag.

Leather loop there's also a regular loop, non-leather, oh, but this I love apples like saddle brown. It's such a classy. Look like I love this color. Oh, it just snaps open just like that: let's do California into there wow, so you just like go through here. I guess and attach it to something yeah, that's beautiful.

I guess you can put this on a key ring, but I feel like this would be cool on a backpack. It's gonna look really nice and now last but not least, the regular loop. I wonder what material this is because I don't know if it is it like a silicone material yeah? It feels like the phone case. I love this and it's just like that. Leather loop that we just saw fits right through that little um, opening and slide it up and attach it to something all right.

So, let's pair it up, and it acts just like any other apple product or when you're pairing it little pop-up came up, shows a little air tag, so connect name air tag, so I can name it whatever I want, but it's got a bunch of custom pre-customized options here. I'm going to do keys because it's on my keys' jacket, headphones purse, wow, there's a lot of stuff. I didn't even think about luggage umbrella, but let's do keys register my air tag. Crystal's keys, I hear the sound for the first time. That's the air tag sound.

What's the tile sound, can we compare it? Okay, that's a tile, sound! It's honestly, not as loud as I remember future crystal editing here, and I just want to point out that the sound you just heard is actually the low battery sound on my tile because I've been using this for quite a bit, but this is what that full sound sounds like yeah. That's the tile sound that I remember. Okay and now the air attack sound. It has like a jingle to it that little speaker in here, wherever the speaker may be, it's really doing its thing yeah. I would hear that now, like I said before, air tags does work in the traditional sense where, if you lose your air tag out of your vicinity so like in another city, you can use it just like you would.

With find my iPhone, you can find my air tag, but it also works with precision finding using Bluetooth tracking. So if it's somewhere that's nearby and close by to you, you can use directly in the find my app the find nearby feature, and it'll pinpoint exactly where it is like to the feet into the direction that it's at, but we'll demonstrate it right now, so I'm just going to nicely hide it in the couch, because I always lose things in there, and we got it on our phone now. So it's telling me I'm three feet: let's try moving to a different location, two feet nearby, so I would know that it's like somewhere here. So let me get away. Let me like get up.

Oh, the feet is growing four feet to your right: five feet to your right: it has a little arrow. Oh, wow! Okay, that's really cool! Oh, it's! Here! It found it. Is there a sound? Oh, you could play the sound. Oh, that's that's cool! Okay! I could. I should have done that when I was looking for it.

Where are my keys? Looking for crystals keys, it's nearby pinging, crystal's keys, now wow, that's so cool! I know a lot of people that need that. That's awesome: it just automatically triggers a sound on its own dang Siri. Are you getting smarter or what so, I'm really happy about precision finding on here, because one thing I always worry about when I'm out on a run, I usually run with my keys in my pocket and I always worry about it like slipping out gradually. Maybe I might not notice it because I have music blasting my ears, so we're going to test it out kind of I'm going to just toss these behind me not going to see where it lands, and we're gonna. Do it? Okay, all right! I actually have a key on here that I care about.

Okay, ready heard it fall, so we're going to do fine nearby by nearby is on. My keys are connected. I have to try moving because this thing the signal is weak. Oh 33 feet, okay, we're moving! I mean okay, we're getting closer. Oh, the arrow's, pointing straight okay, 12, 11 10, oh okay, that's really cool, that's really cool! I want to throw it further, I'm going to really go for it.

Okay, ready! Did I go farther? Oh, here it is! Okay! Okay, okay, I kind of want to do like a hide-and-seek you'll hide them. No, I saw it did it go far? Oh, I actually don't see it. Where is it 33, 32 30 ahead? This way, this way nope this way, oh here it is, and one last thing that I didn't do- I'm going to toss it one more time. I'm going to do that way because there's like a lot going on there. Okay, I could do the sound too.

Did I hear it yep I hear it wow! That's going to come really in handy with me. I know I mentioned Bluetooth tracking, but what makes this type of tracking possible is that apple u1 chip inside and another cool bonus thing I forgot to mention- is his battery life, which should last you about a year or so, but when it does run out, you don't have to buy a whole new track or anything like that. You can just replace it with a standard battery yourself and there's no subscription either. So after you buy one you're good to go, so those air tags are definitely going to become an everyday tech item.
