Hi guys, what we have here is my wife's Samsung Galaxy, a51 5g, which is identical to mine, which I'm currently using to film this on. I've bought us both protective cases, and there is a bit of a story as there seems to be on all my projects. Recently um I've made a mistake, and I've bought the wrong ones as such, but I haven't bought what I thought I bought when I got mine about two months ago. I ordered a case that looks just like this one bought it on Amazon and tracked it all the way to the local Amazon distribution depot, and then it magically disappeared and never arrived, and Amazon made me wait a month before I could get a refund because it might turn up. Well, it didn't. So.
When I got my refund, I ordered a pair of them, but I thought I'll be clever and order them from a different seller, because I didn't trust the one that didn't deliver so see. This looks identical to the one that I ordered, but this one it has got the protective screen in it, in fact that one's broken. Oh, that's! Good! Okay, that one feels fine, and I've already got at least I've used one on mine. Already I've got another spare, so that's not the end of the world that that one's broken but uh, that's pretty hopeless. Really isn't that, ah right I'll have to think about that, whether I complain or not, um anyway, so I've, but the one that I ordered also had a protection cover for the back um where the camera is, and this one doesn't.
So that's annoying anyway. What we'll do is we'll fit one of the good ones to my wife's camera because we got two sets of all these I'll use. The ones I didn't use out of my set. So the first thing you do is clean it with the wet wipe number one you can get it out. Okay, wet wipe just notice, you still got the protective plastic around the outside, but that's not going to matter on the screen.
Okay, that's the wet wipe, and we want the dry one. Okay, that's the dry one done now. We need these and this right that bit will peel off in a minute that way, but before we peel it off, we've got to lay it on there line it up and again, I'm a little annoyed because, I'm pretty sure the ones I ordered the first time we've got an extra hole at the top there. I think I can't remember now, but either way you've got to line them up, and you need a sticker. This one looks a bit small, not happy.
It'll make sense in a minute if you've never done one of these before right. So we've done that then lift this up, pull that off and the idea is because we've not failed totally. Then the idea is because you've got those lined up. It won't go out of position and do that. I don't know if you actually saw that shame.
If you didn't, you can actually see it gripping all the way across. I'm not happy with that seems much lower down than it is on mine. It's still going to fit in the case. It's got quite a gap at the top now and push that up a bit more all right, yeah, I'm not happy with that that didn't go on as well as it did with mine, but that's on you can see my dirty fingerprints up there. If I hold it like that- and that was the theory those were supposed to hold it in place.
You line it up, stick that on to hold it in place, and then that's job done. Take that tape off that she hasn't taken off already um. You know it was there right. So that's that so that fits in there. So I'm annoyed, because the one I ordered had got a little plate to go over there and protect the camera.
So though it looked identical, it wasn't right now. The other thing I was going to show you is on my existing camera phone. I made these dead cats as I call them with a springy bit in the middle, so it fits on the outside. But of course, with the case on those won't fit. So I am currently making myself some that'll fit over the outside of here, because you don't want them on all the time.
You only want them, or I only want one when I'm filming, so there's my springy bit, which I will superglue on the back. There just means you don't lose them when you take it off, and I shall glue some more fluffy stuff over the microphone holes. You you you you stuck to my finger foreign I'll, make sure it isn't actually going to hang over the lens, which was a mistake. I made the first time um. So there we go fluffy ears over the microphones.
We don't want all that hanging over the lens, so that's for use when I've got it on the tripod, not for when we're out and about, although I suppose I could use it when we're out in the bank. Oh, she hasn't got the thumbprint set on hers. I have on mine yeah. Well there you go job done. So this is my pop filter that I bought, which is pretty useless because when I'm using it, I can't see the screen of the phone, which is the reason I've gone back to putting dead cats on it.
Focus is going funny in that that's actually my wife's phone on there, but it's modeling my dead cats. So that's the springy thing across the back that just holds them in place. They're a tight fit anyway, but that just stops them working their way loose and that's with the protective cover on the phone and that's the ones I use when I don't have the protective cover on that's the ones I used before. The protective cover arrived, so we're probably getting a bit of pop, as I speak on the phone at the moment, because it's got no protect, no dead cat, no pop shield I'll do thanks for watching, there's, always more information down in the video description, and if you like this video, you might like this one up here, and you might like to have a look at my channel over here, see what else I do. Thank you for watching.
You.
