POCO M3 Pro - Mad Speed, Killer Looks. This is the first 5G phone from POCO. On the box they’ve mentioned ( 5G connectivity will vary based on local operator ) Lets see how capable this phone is. There are some interesting things about this - it’ll be priced under 15K & comes with Dimensity 5G SoC & a lot more Unboxing - It's yellow everywhere on the box, you get sim card tool, good quality case, documentation, smartphone - (keeping aside for a moment) You have an 18W charger & USB Type C cable. Time to check the phone. It has a very interesting & unique design, 5G & POCO branding.
It looks like the camera module is big due to its unique design and tt looks nice The case is of good quality & I liked it. (Generally redmi phones don't have good case but this a POCO smartphone & gets a good quality case ) Drop Test - ( intense drop test ) The case is really good & there's no damage even after dropping. In Hand Feel - It's good & I like it. It's slightly on the heavier side & it feels sturdy. It'll fit well if you have an average size hand & it feels decent.
Weight - It should be around 190-105 grams ( I’m guessing ). Lets see Yes - my guess was right. It weighs around 190-191 grams. Overall the in hand feel is nice. It comes with a scratch guard pre-installed.
(removing scratch guard ) Ports & Buttons - Bottom side : you have speaker grill, Tyce C port, microphone. On the left side : you have a sim card tray On top side :there's a 3.5mm jack, IR blaster & noise cancelling microphone. On right side : there's volume rocker & Power button that works as fingerprint scanner Let's check the sim card tray - It's a hybrid sim card tray meaning you insert 2 sim or 1 sim + 1 SD card. Time to start the phone but before that if you’re enjoying the video then don't forget to like & subscribe for more such amazing unboxing videos. Display - It has a nice screen to body ratio with a center punch hole.
Top & side bezels are small with average size bottom chin. So overall it's a nice looking modern display. This is a 6.5’’ FHD+ LCD 90 Hz screen It also has gorilla glass protection as well & its nice display at this price range. We dont know its actual price while unboxing but I’m expecting it to be around 13-15K Rs.14K should be the right price for this phone. Specifications - it is a 5G phone that is equipped with Dimensity 700 5G.
This is a budget 5G chipset that is based on a 7nm process. It comes in two variants - 4GB/64GB storage & 6GB/128GB storage variants. Storage type is UFS 2.2 which is good. (Generally we see UFS 2.1 at this price ) You’ll get better read & write speed with UFS 2.2 on POCO M3 Pro 5G. And it has LPDDR4X RAM.
Battery - It has a 5000 mAh battery with 18 W charging. With regular usage it’ll easily last for one day. Software - This runs on POCO UI. They claim to have a clean software experience. It's basically MIUI 12 but it does not have ads.
It is based on Android 11 with May security patch & you do get a clean experience if you compare it with MIUI on Redmi phones. The swipe & touches also feel fluid & I’ve not found any bugs till now. Dimensity 700 is a capable SoC. Talking about real world performance - You can play heavy games with medium settings & 90 Hz makes the experience much enjoyable. Overall if you want a budget gaming phone then this one is quite good.
Sensors - it has all the sensors with a side mounted fingerprint scanner, face unlock & both of them work quite well. Multimedia - But I want you to tell you one thing, this has a dynamic fast refresh rate - so it changes the refresh rate depending on the content i. e 30/50/90 Hz So it changes dynamically depending on the content of your phone. For eg : If you’re enjoying Multimedia then It’ll adapt to the content on the screen. Multimedia experience - It has bottom mounted speaker which is loud The speaker quality is decent & loud.
Display is nice & viewing angles are average as it has a LCD panel.
