Hey guys this is Mario here again and welcome back to my channel after days of excruciating weight. Finally, I received my third homophone of the year, the Pogo m3 pro 5g. I bought this phone on 6th of June and after 6 days later, I ride my doorstep from China. What's so special about this phone apart from using MediaTek density 700 chipsets that supports dual 5g standby, it's also the most affordable 5g phone available in Malaysia selling at reggae, Malaysia, 599 or less than 150 us dollars. The price is really insane for 5g phone. So let's look at the yellow box very similar to last year.
Poco entry packaging, except for there's a 5g function this time and to the left to the right on top at the bottom empty, nothing, I think most, you guys have seen the black color m3 pro, so I bought the blue color one instead, so that you guys can choose which color to buy the variant that I have is 4k of ram and six fog of storage with UFS 2.2 for faster data. Transferring as usual, let me tell you guys a bit with the plastic tearing super nice once you open the box, you'll be welcome with these few items, the first one, the inner insert open it, and you have the sim checker and nice Baku sticker and some documentation here. Just in case you guys are interested next one would be. The DPU case saw. One next would be the cable type c to USB a cable, and this is actually a maximum 22.5 watt charger. Although this one can only take in 18 watt of maximum charging.
Let's look at some information on the Poco m3 pro 5g, and it's actually powered by MediaTek domain ct700 chipset with dual 5g capability, and this is actually a seven nanometer processor and the screen is actually 6.5 inch that supports 90hz of refresh rate and the resolution is full HD, plus dot display and the battery is 5000mah battery yup. As I was saying, 18 more of fast charging maximum fast charging, and you have a triple camera setup with the main cameras, 48, megapixel and macro, and that sensor, okay, guys I'm going to temp you guys again with the plastic tearing ah nice, so guys, the back of the phone is actually blue, and it's made of plastic okay for the back and also for the frame. So what do you guys think about the color and make no mistake that the back is actually very firm, very sturdy, there's no hollow fee at all. The phone is actually quite light at 190 gram, and you can see here the triple camera setup whereby the main camera is actually 48 megapixels, and you have a 2, megapixel micro lens and 2 megapixel depth sensor, something that I actually forgot to mention just now that the back is actually glossy. So it's actually a fingerprint magnet.
So take note guys to the right. You actually have a volume rocker up and down, which is actually quite solid, and this is actually the power button which also acts as a fingerprint sensor and at the bottom. Here you have. The primary microphone, the type-c port and also the bottom firing speaker and to the left- you have the sim slot and on top you have the IR blaster and also the 3.5 millimeter headphone jack. As you can see here from the sim slot, it's only a hybrid slot, so you can only put two sim cards or one sim card with one micro SD card support.
As you can see here, there's a 6.5 inch, IPS LCD, 1080p, full HD, plus screen that the 8 megapixel selfie camera. And if you swipe down okay, you can see that it has NFC support. So guys, as you can see here, this is actually Poco typical launcher. And if you go to setting go to about phone, you can see that it's running MIA i12, which is based on android 11 and also 18.8 gig occupied out from 64 gigs of internal storage. And if we go to display, go to refresh rate, so the refresh rate is actually set at 60hz by default.
But you can actually change it to 90hz to have the 90hz smoothness and if you can see here, there's a lot of bloatware pre-installed. But fortunately you can uninstall them one by one, although it's quite annoying so guys before we end the video. Let me do my routine speaker test and for information. There's only one single bottom frame, speaker here: okay, which is supported by hi-res audio, and let me bump out the volume to the max and let's get watering started their eyes doing things. They know talking about the same old stories, they've heard about the people.
They think they know not bad. What do you guys think? I think that the loudness is actually slightly above average and there's a bit of bass there. So let me know in the comments below so there you go guys my first impression of the latest Poco m3 pro. I know some of you guys, especially Malaysians, will be saying we don't have 5g yet in Malaysia. Why bother getting this phone to certain degree? I agree with the statement, but you can't deny the fact that the Poco entry pro is the most affordable 5g phone in the market right now for just 599, ringgit Malaysia, anyway I'll be testing this phone for the next one to two weeks.
So my full review on the Realme gt near will be out soon, so stay tuned, guys until then take care and stay safe peace guys.
