Hey guys today, I'm going to show you the screen, dimming issue with the Poco f3, while playing genuine impact. I will use the dev check app for the overlay, so we can see our CPU temperature, the ram and the CPU clocks, and also the fps um. As you can see, there are two temperatures, so the left side is the CPU temperature and the right side is the soc temperature. Underneath we can see the ram. There are six gigabytes of ram, and it should give you a little of an impression if six gigabytes are enough for you or not at the end of the video. I will show you also if the six gigabytes are enough to keep the game into the background, while starting another game.
I set the brightness level to about 90 percent and I will play game impact with this graphic settings uh so, and here's the first dimming of the screen we're playing engine impact, guys as we could see there were temperatures like 74. Furthermore, I think 75 and 76 also but never mind. That was the highest temperatures right now, but I'm playing this game like about three minutes and that's a little too early for me to dim the screen yeah, let's play a little more, my so guys the screen dims for the second time right now, um we have a brightness of about 50 to 60 percent onto the display, as you can see, and holy holy. We have a temperature of 94 degrees here, that's that's very high um. The phone doesn't feel really hot right now, but it's warm.
It is one. Maybe it takes, maybe a little more time to get very hot. Let's see, hey you stop right. There may, the animal god protect you stranger! I am amber out righter for the knights of felonies. You don't look like citizens of constant, explain yourselves very best of friends.
Okay, let's check the brightness here, because the screen got a little dimmer than before and as you can see, the temperature goes a little down um and, as you can see, the level of the brightness is about forty percent like this is very low and the second thing I'm playing this game right now for five minutes. Yet oh uh, I'm sorry, probably not something I should say as a knight. I give you my apologies uh strain, so we have 89 95 degrees, 91 degrees, the temperature is going up, but the phone doesn't feel very hot, like you will notice it that it's very warm, but it's not hot and yeah. If you, if you put your hand onto the display, you will notice that the display is pretty hot, but you won't notice it while playing, so I'm playing this game now for about um 10 minutes and as we can see here, the brightness is about 30 to 40 percent. So it's very thin.
So let's stop punishing my phone here and check the temperatures again. So if we go out the game, the temperatures goes down. Um, let's see how the memory does, because six gigabytes is it enough to keep the game into the background if I'm just want to serve or maybe check another app here- and I have a problem- I don't know why. But if I'm playing engine impact and switching and going onto my home screen, I have only 60 frames per seconds like why Is my screen is set at 120 hertz. I'm pretty sure that this is not because of the heat, it's just a bug, and it should be fixed in a future update.
I think because if I'm switching it here, um from 120 to 60, I'm back to 120 um yeah, I have my 120 frames per seconds on my home screen and everything is fine. Okay, let's see if it can keep genii impact in the background, while surfing the web, like the Wikipedia flash score for now, okay, so the game stays into the background after visiting two websites. So it's very lightweight web browsing here and the phone keeps the game into the background you can play like nothing happened. So the screen here is still about 40. So it's not very bright, it's still pretty, pretty dim.
Okay, let's try another app, let's open one, app, let's open, I don't know, and as you can see here, we have again 60 frames per seconds after going on to the home screen after playing engine impact. Here, it's strange but, as I said, it should be fixed in a future update. Okay, let's try another game here, sky and, let's see what happens. Oh, look. This game could be played with 120 frames per seconds.
Okay, that's nice, but I need to tell you it doesn't feel like 120 hertz uh, I'm not sure if this game running on 60 frames per seconds and only the screen, maybe on 120 hertz, I'm not sure, but it doesn't feel like 120 hertz, maybe like about 90. It feels smooth, but I'm sure that these are not 120 frames per second or maybe, or maybe just the game is um yeah programmed with a lot of delay, because if you can see if I'm looking around um my finger motion and the motion on the game is not equal. So I'm not sure but, like the motion alone doesn't look for me for my I like 120 frames, the temperature on this game are pretty low like about 50, and the brightness is a little higher about 50 to 60 percent. So it's a little bit better after the phone cool down, but let's try genre impact open it and yeah. The six gigabyte are not enough here to keep the game in the background, so I'm not sure if this happened or if the 8 gigabyte version can keep the game in the background.
But the 6 gigabyte version cannot ok guys. So genii impact is a really heavy 3d game for this phone. The cooling is not enough to keep the beast cool to playing engine impact for a long time, because the phone gets hot, not very hot. You can still play, but it gets hot, and I think if you will play a lot, it's not that great for the CPU yeah, okay, the CPU, maybe, is not going to get some damage, but I think the battery is not for the battery. It's not great.
If the temps are so high inside the phone or beside the battery here, so I'm not sure what's happened. If you charge the phone and want to play game impact um like maybe the screen goes to zero. I don't know, but I don't want to test it because I paid for this phone and I don't want to damage my battery. I hope that this phone can still last a long time here, but let's go to the screen dimming issue here. Furthermore, I think that the screen dimming issue can not get fixed guys because um what you can do if the temperature is really that high, you can only dim the screen or turn off everything and shut the phone off in a critical situation.
So the only fix that could be done here is to reduce the performance on the snapdragon 870, which would be a shame guys, because this processor is pretty good, but maybe they can. They can fix it by taking rules for some games like for genii and impact to don't go as high with the graphics as we played it, but as you could see, sky or the other games are running pretty well here with 50 to 60 degrees, maybe some games on the 70s side, but I think you can find another game that causing more problems than genii impact onto this phone so guys. I hope I could help you with the decision um with this video and yeah. What can I say is if you're a gamer if you're a hardcore gamer for genii impact, don't buy this phone guys. Thank you for watching, and I see you in the next one.
