Poco F2 Pro - Unboxing & First Impressions By Kevin Muldoon

Hey guys well I've got here as jimmies cuckoo f2 Pro, that's as a 5g, Android smartphone and is someone who owned the original polka for a f1 I am very excited about what this phone can do. Now that as apparently another version coming, which has got 8 gigabytes of RAM and 256, gigabytes of storage doesn't seem to be available. Yet I've got the version which was available at launch sucks gigabytes of RAM and 128. Gigabytes of storage, I had completely forgotten, color I had ordered, but you can see the other I've got the phantom white version now before I. Do the unboxing I just want to quickly show you some of its main features. You can see at the back here that it's called a quad camera system at the back.

It's got a 20 megapixel camera which allows it to have an old screen display, and you've got the fingerprint sensor at the front as well. It's all powered with a snapdragon 865. Furthermore, it's got ddr5 ROM and UFA's 3.1 for storage. So the reason rate teams should be very, very good here and addition to 5g is got Wi-Fi sex, so download time should be very good, and it's got a 4,700 William battery, which you can charge at 30 watts um. You can also see the display there 6.6 entries 2400 by 1080 pixels. Now, as far as the camera goes in addition to the 20 megapixel pop-up camera you've got at the back.

You've got a 2 megapixel depth, sensor, 13 megapixels, ultra-wide angle, sensor, the main sensor as 64 megapixels and then as a 5, megapixel, tell micro sensor. So I'll leave a link to the main website. Here you can take that out, check out the specifications and all the colors that are available, and I'll leave a link to GSM arena for the specifications and for the Xiaomi Redmi Deathly pro, because that is what this phone is based on, and you can look at the specs and compare them yourself, but this is essentially a rebranded red Nikki 30 pro now, that's well be available. What a raid via Amazon the Sharks, but right now, your best base to order it from China I, ordered Maine from gear best, and it took about three and a half weeks to arrive. One reason as I order that on launch day, if you don't know, delivery team should be à la beta cracker.

But if you want this safety net over warranty, you are probably better ordering in your local area without further ado. Let's get this open, and we'll see what the pork will F 2 Pro is all about. Okay, here we go so at the top here, we've got a lockbox, and we've got the phone underneath, which I will check and a second. So let's see we've gotten here, so we've got a semi jet or two underneath we have got warranty card, a user gate, and we've got a lot o silicone case to bandy. It looks quite a hard case.

I'd say this is quite a hard case. It's not as bendy as I've seen before and looks good got back cut at the top because of the pop-up camera I'm, not sure. If that's going to leave out a lot of exposed, then we've got the phone itself so set the phone there for a second I'll, just see what else is in the box here, we've got the tape e to tape, C charging, cable, and we've got the tape e charger which, because I'm based in the UK they have to provide me with an adapter. So that is what my charger is going to look like player Glee. If you look at the charge of the air, you can see that it says 33 watts max, which makes sense, because this has got a 30 watt charger.

That's what it's classed as the LT was so the Kilo is about a meter long, it's got a nice red tends to it. It's play thick noise, I, wouldn't say it's as nice as a bladed keyboard. Anything like that, but it looks like it won't last. It's too short, though I would see right away. That's just too short a keyboard.

It should be a little longer than that. You can see there. This is not a long cable, but ok. We can replace that. Of course.

Now, to the most important part, the phone, so this as the Poco F to approve that's their this. This is really, really nice till I stuck it off. Okay, here we go Wow em first impressions are this feels like an extremely high quality phone. It kind of feels like looks as well that you know just the way it's kind of shining. It looks a little like a Samsung phone to me.

So how is this kind of vowel quality looks really nice. You can see the SIM card reader in the bottom tape, C charger microphone, the speaker, growl I, like this red button here for power, you get the volume rocker next to it. The power button very good possession here, no problems here, it's another perfect possession I, don't think anyone's going to have any promises with that. You know I've seen it before ones have the power button. Are we up here, but that's in a really natural possession and look at the headphone jack another make at the top there as well and yeah we've got the popcorn? Are they on the camera system at the back? So my first impressions of the design and its bow quality are positive.

I think it looks great I. Think natural camera module looks great faintness weight. Color looks really nice, it's a little sloppy, but not too bad. Actually, it's not as bad as other funds. I've used, but I think the overall design here looks perfect.

The white contrast, the black, bears all at the front there, and I think the red button. The L looks really nice for the power bi, and it's kind of reminiscent of what you would see in a Google Pail phone. So the overall bow quality is really nice and, as you would expect, it's got a larger screen, and so it's all you know it's a larger phone and my why we P 30, but that as a small phone, but it's not much thicker, and it doesn't feel heavy in the hand either, and you know the / buttons in a perfect position. Now I had a quick try of the keys there and overall is good. I, like the fight, is more of a hard case there than you know.

One of those really bendy a plastic one very easy to get N, and it covers all the main ports along the side in the bottom. But the there isn't really much of a Latvia to give you any kind of protection and there's not really any protection of the back camera system. There Tyler, you can see that it doesn't it's not raised and off there, which you know does mean that it's very thin, and it's very late, but there's no protection at the top I that I'm not sure if there was a bit a better way for them to do that. There, the Versa left of space, because they've got this um. You know pop up camera, and they've got a headphone jack, and maybe you know adding a little of plastic here.

We're never really worked, but it does mean that this is exposed so yeah, that is that, and I do like they live, include you that door, and it will certainly keep it going until you get something better. If you do want something more secure. But let's switch it on, and I'll get logged then same done to Wi-Fi, etc. , and then we can have a look at the display, and then I can give you my first impressions. So that's as the same card three of the Poco f2 pro, and you can see it there.

Someone now I had wrongly assumed initially that this was all I could hold once em. But one of my subscribers pointed out. You just have to turn it over, and you can see that as another slaw for a second SIM card, so that supports to seven cards. That is not any micro SD card slot, but it's called a slope for one NATO sandy and one on the other side, so I'm stoking through the installation process at this point, but there's a few things I want to talk about. Firstly, is that a 10-point nest before, but that does seem to be a scheme protector that has been pre applied and if you look at the air, you can see the line there.

It's maybe not obvious when it's switched on, but you can see that as a screen protector that has been applied, then it you know it's all aligned, and it all looks good. The second thing as that well look at that it looks great. Doesn't it, and you know I've seen phones with the noir chime at the punch out holes or with the teardrop con camera centered at the front, but this doesn't have that this has an old screen display, and it looks great for it really does look great. The fingerprint sensor, I've registered my thumb so far seems ok, actually seems better than any fingerprints instead of trying so far and yeah I'm not usually a fan of that, but does seem to be working quite well now. The next thing I'm going to talk about is something which I don't like personalized ads says here that you're going to be receiving advertisements now I need to delve deep into this and see how aggressive this is going to be, but I don't want any advertisements on my phone.

This is my phone I. Don't want that. So that's something I will have to review later, but when I go through the installation process, most of it has been fairly boring, feeling fairly self-explanatory, saying into Google, etc. But at this point you do get an option of two different color schemes and yeah. It's applying the theme, and it looks like I'm good to go theme applied.

So this has got a lot of setting up to do. I am transferring hundreds of apps I've got installed in my other phones, and I will have to get to do all of that in the background. So there's going to be a lot of things happening a lot of notifications, etc. But I should be able to log and soon and see what this phone is all about. So thence deletion process appears to be complete and because the phone has recognized that I have got makers off one shot and Nova Launcher asking me what lunch I want to use and well, so I normally do use Microsoft one shot.

I want to get a feel for the spoon so be using Porch launcher, which I have used before what the polka phone just need to remember any choice. Okay, here we go, so that is that that's as the Poco f2 Pro and you know, I do need to spend some time testing. Oh, this is something I'll cover and a future value, all the settings and everything just to check what's going on here, but the thing I want to check. Remember this choice here we go right. The thing that I want to check first and as the camera I want to show you this camera.

Let's see this selfie camera and cancel that right turn the camera around. Oh, look at that. Did you see that, so I'll show you that again, that's nice isn't it that is nice? That looks really, really nice I, like the way that comes, oh, and I want to show you from the back actually really nice. That's definitely one of those that you know they're kind of key features over this phone. Very, very nice action.

Obviously, if you're doing a face unlock- and you need to use this camera to unlock using the facial, a facial recognition, you're going to have to we and tell that pops up, but it looks perfect. That's the twin America pail sensor, that's one here! You can see that so at this point, what I'd like to do is summarize: the unboxing remained you what you get when you buy the Poco f2 Pro and summarize my initial impressions of this good-looking phone. When you buy it, you get this user gate, it's in lots of different languages, and it really just shows you how to put in your NATO some nuts that kind of pointless you've got a warranty card. You've got a semi jet or two, and it is hard to show you on camera, but that as a pre applied screen protector. So that's good I, like that, a charging cable type, a to tape, see it's got a nice orange red color scheme.

Quite thick doesn't look like it's going to free easily, but it is too short. Look at that. It's way too short. This should really provide a longer cable, but there you go this charger this as a 30 watt charger, but it does see a maximum voltage of 33 watts on the side there and the charger looks okay, but I've obviously ordered from China, and it came to the UK, and I've got a two prong european-style charger. So they've.

Given me this deathtrap of an adapter- and this is my horrible charging solution. No, but that's what you have to deal with if you order from China and get it delivered to a country where you're not using that charger. The charger does look good, though, as we all meet no problems here. The case I like the fact that provides you the case I like the fact this is more rigid than flexible square in each case and as quite thin, but, as I pointed out earlier on, there really hasn't any luck there for protection and there's no protection relief for the back for the cameras and the zero protection at the top, because they've had to build it so that those a space for this puppet camera and a headphone jack. What I'm not complaining, because it's free of charge- and you can go there and buy another case whenever you want, but so as I- consider that's good for the people that want err and for other people.

This will be a good solution until you get the case that you want. So that's what you get and the Box when you buy the poke or f2 Pro. As far as my initial impressions, fingerprint sensor seems good. The old screen display just looks stunning. It looks really, really nice that this play looks great a lot.

I love the overall build quality I, do like that red little pearl button. I! Don't know why I think it looks nice and that selfie camera yes a little going to key, but look at that. It looks great. Doesn't it is looks great, so this is just the unboxing I will be doing more tests.
