Hello and welcome to quick tips 2. Today, I'm going to test the time it will take to charge and discharge the battery on my Pixel 4a first, I will start by charging it. So I will go to settings then battery. As you can see, my battery is currently showing 10 percent. I will now connect the charger. I will also start the stopwatch to calculate the time it will take to fully charge my phone.
Furthermore, I will leave it charging for now, and I will come back when the battery is full. The battery is now showing 100, and it took me one hour and 24 minutes to charge it. I will now stop my stopwatch and I will use my phone during the day and come back when the battery is nearly empty. Okay. Now I'm back, and my battery is about to run out.
So, let's look at the status of my battery. As you can see, my battery is on 10 percent. Full charge lasts around 1 day and 13 hours. My screen usage since fully charging. It is 6 hours, 22 minutes.
Now, let's check my battery usage. As you can see, I've already used my phone for one day and 12 hours and I still have three hours left. The top used apps since fully charging are chrome, YouTube, studio, camera and Gmail. Please note that I didn't use battery saver when using my phone so enabling battery saver is likely to extend the battery beyond 1 day and 13 hours. Hopefully this will give you a good indication into how much time it takes to charge and discharge the Pixel 4a.
