Good morning, you all, what's up you guys were in New York City. Today the gang is back together, and we're actually going to be comparing video capabilities between the pixel three and the iPhone center. So the pixel three is arguably the best smartphone camera on the market. Right now, it's sharp. It has good color shoots raw natively, but what about video? No one is really talking about the video capabilities. It's cold out here.
My mouth's, like not work day, so I've been using the iPhone 10s, as my daily driver been shooting tons of video on it. I have to say I really like it. We just shot a cinematic video which will link below so the question is: will the pixel 3 be able to keep up or will it even outshine the iPhone 10s in terms of video? And let's do it all right? First, stop is the skate park, obviously, because we're in New York, and they have one of the best skate parks in the world. Le s skate park, Lower East Side, so we're obviously going to set the phones up, and we're going to set them on a side by side, rig side by side, rig, yeah and then test them out, and I'm going to roll around, because I got that warm up all right, so that was a 4k 30 shot. We're going to do a few more 4k 30s then hit some 1080 120.
Let's go all right. This is an audio test. Pixel con right here, how's it sound and iPhone 10 s, 4k 30 right now, we're actually going to switch over to slow-motion still shoot the hip, and I'll. Try one more trick: we're home all right, so Caleb's doing one more of these tricks: important real, quick! We are shooting in the native app of each device here, yes, who owe're shooting in the native app of each device does make an amazing iOS app that basically turns your phone into a way better filmmaking tool, video for Android coming soon. So if you don't have those yet check them out right all right, we were wrapped up at the skate park.
It was super loud, but we had some good tests now we're going to test handheld stabilization to see which phone looks the best just handheld walk. What are we doing now? Okay, so right now we're going to do a skin tone test. Basically the iPhone 10s my biggest complaint with it is how it can make skin tones super orange and almost like feature list that there are no lines on their face. So right now we're going to test skin tones and see which one looks better: okay, so we're going to test for sharpness right now. We're actually going to throw moment wives on both of the phones just to get more of the scene.
It's the perfect scene to use faces all right. We are finding the lowest light we can, which is this subway station. It's like low normal light. You might film in, so we're going to see how both of the phones stack up for low light video. It's something you'd actually shoot.
Okay, so that's going to wrap up the test for video. Let us know in the comments what you think 1. We have our opinions based on how it looks on the screen, but we won't really know till we get back on the computer. One thing to note is the iPhone 10 s does have a little more frame rate options, then the pixel 3 natively there are apps like the moment app, which you can download that has different support for various frame rates and shutter speeds. Another thing to note that pixel 3 comes in at $799 for 64 gigs, where the iPhone 10 S comes in at $1000 for 64 gigs, so you kind of have to weigh the pros and cons to.
We know this is an exceptional camera, probably the best. You can see our last review on that if you want as well but other than that yeah. Let us know in the comments we had fun guys good test, another New York we're just all thanks for watching. We love you guys.
