OVERHEAT? POCO F3 review! By Nasi Lemak Tech

Within polo's the latest keynote. There are two phones that were announced: the Poco x3 pro, which we have reviewed earlier, check it out the top right corner there, and also we have the new Poco f3, which we are reviewing it in this video right here. So let's take a look at the brand new Poco f3 and talk about it, six key aspects of a smartphone and see how it actually fares out among its competition, we'll first start off with the performance of the Poco f3, because this phone comes with a snapdragon, 870, chipset, 8, gigs of ram and also 128 gigs of storage. Now the question is: is the Poco f3 going to perform better than the Poco x3 pro with the snapdragon 860 chipsets? To answer the question we did a comparison between both of those Poco phones so check that out in the top right corner there as well, and if you don't want to watch that video as a quick summary I'll, tell you yes, this navigates 870 is obviously gonna, be better than the snapdragon 860, but, as shown in perv dog, its performance is not really that consistent. I would say it also stutters a lot, and it also runs a lot hotter on the Poco f3 and after playing the game for a while. The Poco f3 also showed to overheat message oops, and I also confirmed that this is actually happening to other reviewers with the Poco f3 as well, but in their case they're only taking pictures so yeah.

It's kind of drastic here and I think now is the most suitable time to talk about the screen of the Poco f3. Well, once the overheat message is shown, this is what you guys are referring to as the dimming issue on the Poco f3. What happens here is that when the phone gets overheated, then the screen will get dimmer, presumably to save its battery from getting overheated or something like that. I can't confirm what's going on, but it is definitely happening, but when the Poco f3 is not overheating, the 6.67 inch 1080p, super AMOLED screen looks nice and bright, and it can also go up to 120hz refresh rate, and this screen on the Poco f3 right here is obviously a big upgrade over the Poco x3 pro and now. Let's talk about the cameras on the Poco f3, there are total of three cameras right here, and all of them can be used to take pictures, which is real good, but it seems like the camera is used for the polo, f3's main camera and the ultra angle.

Camera is actually the same as the Poco x3. Pro pictures coming out of its main camera looks about the same too. It looks pretty good in broad daylight, but it starts to get affected when it comes to some low light situations and taking night shots using night mode on the polo. F3 means that the clarity and details will start to go a little haywire. The ultra-wide angle.

Camera is also the same as well looks, okay in broad daylight, but what I'm amazed here, of course, is again the macro camera on the Poco f3 again. This is the exact same five megapixel micro camera, as found in the 11 and, of course, this micro camera can take a lot of fantastic macro shots. I also promise one of the commenters that I'll be doing a quick camera comparison between the Poco f3 and the galaxy a72. In short, both phones take pictures with pretty similar colors and exposure on the main camera, but the galaxy a7 e2 has better dynamic range. As seen in this picture right here, night, shots are also better on the galaxy a72, which manages to retain a lot more details compared to the Poco f3, and do take note that the Poco f3 doesn't have is as well, and its shakiness will mean blurry pictures and especially blurry videos, while working on this very uneven terrain.

The ultra angle, camera on the galaxy a72, is also wider than the Poco f3 and also has better dynamic range once again, but shots involving the sky, though the galaxy a72 is obviously looking a lot bluer compared to the Poco f3 and once again, the macro camera on the Poco f3 is better, since it has that auto, focusing lens okay enough about the cameras. So what about the battery? The Poco f3 comes with a slightly smaller 4520 power battery, which can last for about nearly 12 hours. In our battery life test at 120, hertz refresh rate it's okay, and it can last throughout the day, without much of an issue if, if not much, gaming is involved, and the Poco f3 also comes with the same 33 watt charger as the Poco x3 pro, and it also charges the phone from 15 to 100 in more or less about 40 minutes time, and then we should also talk about the design of the Poco f3. It's very plain, actually nothing much to see here, and it has a black glossy back here, which means it's going to be a fingerprint magnet honestly, I just wish that they are using a matte finish right here. That would be great actually and the slight curves around both the left and right edges of the phone at the back here also makes this phone really nice to hold, especially combined with its thinners and finally mini 12.

I won't talk much about it here because we already talked about it in detail in our review of the 11, so check it out in the top right corner there as a summary mini is still a mess and the user experience is just still not as good as many other skins out there. They also need to make software updates more consistent, like Samsung, so at the end of the day, the Poco f3 at the starting price of 1 399 ringgits, I would still say it's a clear step up from the Poco x3 pro in a few aspects, particularly the screen design and also somewhat in performance. Yet it still comes with a few issues like the infamous dimming issue that you guys have been commented. Yes, we did confirm that it is indeed happening to the Poco f3. It is also a 400 ringgit price hike from the Poco x3 pro.

Is it worth it or not? That is something that I cannot decide for you personally. I do like the Poco f3 a little more, but the smaller battery and the heat that's coming out of this phone, while playing engineering pack is also not that comfortable as well. So if you want to buy the Poco f3, but don't want to deal with the screen, dimming issue, then my best advice to you is just not to play game changing back at the highest possible graphical settings or maybe just don't stress the phone too much else. It will start to heat up. Then the screen starts to go dim and all other stuff.
