Hey guys welcome back to the channel where we take awesome out of the box and what's up it's me Elle, and today we will be unboxing. OPPO'slatest future-proof offering the Oppo Reno 6 5g. So this phone just arrived today, and I'm really excited what it has in store for all of us and of course, I've been looking at photos of this online, and thankfully I got the color that I like and yeah without further ado. Let's go straight to the video here. We have the Oppo Reno 65g and for the box you get OPPO's signature, blue packaging, with the phone model and OPPO's branding plastered on the front and on the sides on the back and top. You can spot more details about this phone and, as you can see, we got the eight gigs of ram and 128 gigs of storage variant on the inside.
You get a matte paper sleeve that includes the usual documentation, a free jelly case and a sim ejector pin with an interesting circular design. Moving on. Of course, you got the phone, but we'll talk more about it later on. You also get an USB type-c charger, a 65 watt super took, 2.0 charging, brick and, to my surprise, it comes with a pair of USB type-c earphones. Well, sadly, no audio jack down here.
So if you want to charge your phone and listen to some music, you might want to grab a pair of wireless earbuds for the phone design. This device comes in two color variants, which is stellar black and the one we have is aurora, and I have to tell you guys. It looks perfect the Reno 65g sports, the unique Reno glow design, which adds a shimmer and dazzling texture effect on its matte glass, which makes it fingerprint and smudge proof, plus, if you pair it up with its stunning aurora northern lights, holographic inspired color such as sleek and absolute beauty, and also, if you guys want to see some northern lights action, try to shine a light on the back of this phone in a dark room and maybe play some chill music. In the background to complete the vibe and for the guys out there, who prefer a more simple and classic look, you can definitely go for the stellar black color and still rock that dazzling texture design when it comes to its in-hand feel. The Reno 65g is absolutely nice to hold at sobrangan de Malegaon, NATO guys the retro, boxy design makes the device feel more compact, it's lightweight and an easy and comfortable device to carry around weighing at 182 grams, and it is 7.9 millimeters thick. The triple camera setup is located in the upper left corner of the phone along with some oval branding in the lower right corner.
Moving on to buttons and ports, you can spot the power button on the right side, while the volume rocker is located on the left on. The bottom is where you can find the dual sim tray, USB type-c charging port and the speaker grilles now for display. The Reno 65g has a 6.4 inch AMOLED display with a 2400 by 1080, full HD plus resolution, a 90 hertz refresh rate and a 180 hertz touch sampling rate. Of course, on this channel we do love our AMOLED screens, because it makes the colors more vibrant and punchy plus it produces deeper blacks. It enhances your viewing experience, which makes it a suitable device to fulfill your Netflix marathons in full HD.
The viewing angles on this phone looks pretty good. You see the video as is no matter what angle you're, watching from plus the thin bezels on the sides, add a more immersive viewing experience now for the specs. The Reno 65g is powered by the MediaTek density 905g, with eight gigs of expandable ram and 128 gigs of storage space. It also runs on color OS 11.3 based off android 11. , plus it's already in the name.
This phone has a 5g connectivity. You guys definitely heard that right. The first time the Reno 65g does have an expandable ram, which means when you have enough available storage space. You can use a part of that to expand your pre-existing 8 gigs of ram starting from two gigs three gigs up to five gigs of virtual ram expansion, which I do think is a pretty handy and a great feature to optimize your phone's performance and take it to the next level. As for performance, the MediaTek density 905g is a new and efficient processor.
It can definitely run your favorite everyday game smoothly. Well, as for gens hen and other graphically intensive games, we'll talk more of its overall performance and benchmarks in our full review. Since this is an Oppo smartphone expect that the cameras are a big part of this device, starting with its 64 megapixel, f, 1.7 main an 8 megapixel, f, 2.2 ultra-wide and a 2 megapixel f, 2.4 macro lens, while on the front it has a 32, megapixel, f, 2.4 punch, whole selfie camera that isn't too distracting well based from my first impressions. This phone is packed with a wide variety of camera features that can help you produce endless creative quality content right off the bat on the main camera. It can start from 0.6 x all the way up to 20x of zooming capabilities, considering that the main cam is a 64 megapixel shooter, you have the option to turn that on once you slide down the options tab, you can also shoot in HDR, activate the AI scene, enhancement and add some filters that fits your liking for portrait mode. There are two additional features, and that includes the AI collar portrait.
That makes you stand out in a black and white setting. It also has the both flair portrait that makes your background blurry, making your photo look more professional as for night mode. This has the same zoom features, but without any filter option. However, this does have a tripod mode where you can capture nighttime images. As long as you keep your phone steady, preferably on a tripod for the video you get to zoom out from 0.6x all the way up to 5x. This also has a portrait AI highlight video feature, a cinematic poke flare video effect, and, lastly, it has a focus with focusing tracking that can lock on a subject and track it automatically, regardless if it's moving, the Reno 65g has more additional camera features from dual view: video slo-mo time-lapse, film, expert extra HD, piano tech scanner, macro sticker and solute templates, but of course, we'll test out this phone's camera capabilities in our full review, so stay tuned for that powering.
This phone is a 4 300 William hour battery with a 65 watt super loop, 2.0 charger. While it sounds like a decent battery size that can last you a whole day of regular media usage. However, we'll have to test this out in our battery test for the in-depth review to cap things off the Oppo Reno 65g offers a stunning and comfortable design. An impressive AMOLED display, an efficient processor and expandable ram, plus a wide range of camera features that you can be creative with not to mention this is a 5g phone which makes it absolutely future-proof. But of course we have yet to test this phone's overall performance in our full review.
The only thing that's missing is its price. Well, sadly, voil? paralegal guys. So let's wait for OPPO's official announcement regarding the price of this phone, but till then remember to subscribe to this channel and hit that notification bell for more updates and don't forget to check out unbox. pH for more awesome content and remember to like comment share and subscribe, because at 250k subs we'll be giving away a free phone, so that was another awesome gadget out of the box.
