Yo, what is good people Ben from lover of tech? Again we're back for another unboxing, and this time is another mid-range, 5g android handset. This one is the upper find x3 light. This one is an interesting one, because I've been using a 5g phone and mid-range phones are something I always try and get hold of as well. So again, a big shout out to Vodafone UK for supplying the Xperia find x-free light for review and testing on loan really appreciate them, but yeah this is the Oppo find x3. Let's unbox, it sees again big shout out to Vodafone UK for supplying the find x3 light. There'll be links in the description below for all the latest stills that you can actually get on the Oppo fine 3 on Vodafone UK um, but yeah.
Let's get unboxing it man cool, so we've got to find x3 lights, not many details on the box, okay, which ones do we have here. So it looks like we have a dual sim variant of the phone, and we are working with Aston blue with an interesting name: eight gigabytes of ram 128 gigabytes of storage, um. That's what we're working with on this one. So this is the Oppo f5 x3 lights, cool. Let's see how this one looks boom so put this here.
What do we get? What do we get? What we get? Oh, okay, first piece of treasure. You get a clear silicon case which I always appreciate. It seems like you get more of these mid-range phones um outright. I think this, I believe, retails for about 380 pounds um around 500, but I'm not sure that you can actually get in the US. You've got your sim ejector tool.
Obviously that's standard yeah, it's nice to get a closer look in case that comes in. I always appreciate that man um yeah piece of cardboard here and oh check that frosted paste- oh yeah, yeah already I'm liking it already. I'm liking it wow. That is a nice matte frosted finish there. Oh yeah, it's almost like sandpaper is, we'll come back to you, we'll come back to you.
Let's leave this on the side here quickly. So what do we get? What did we get? So we've got um their signature. Super took charging, so you've got USB-C to USB-C, so it's not c2c, I'm not sure which view this is from what I believe it is super boot 2.0, which is using 65 watt charging uh. Let's see if there are any details on the power brick, but we can oh look at that. Look at that.
Look at that. Look at that. Look at that. Look at that. You get earphones.
What does that basically tell you that there is a 3.5 millimeter, headphone port after f for respect for all the headphone ports? I've actually died. I'm sure concept. Creator is going to be happy that there's a headphone port. Yes, there is cool right, so you're getting a full sec, you're getting a case, you'll get a charger included and that's a superfast charger as well. Cable and earphones yeah looks like potentially flagship phones, ain't, really where the value is anymore.
To be honest, um, okay, what is the charging speed that we've got here? So this is 65 watts, 60 65 watts huge 2.0. That's insane! That's probably going to charge this in about 30 minutes, because I believe the battery capacity on here is about 4, 300 Williams, that's nuts! You get 65 watt charging at this price point a lot of mercy so yeah. Oh, let's feel this. This feels nice. Let's give it a product shot treatment.
Oh, my base. This feels nice, oh yeah, yeah, we'll do a quick comparison, but yeah. This is powered by the snapdragon 635 um, 735 g, so definitely accessible, 5g, dual sim um, I'm not sure if it comes with a micro SD card as well, but what we love doing these unboxing, let's use the sim ejector tool and see if what's that, okay, so it's decided you've got to be careful. So it's just dual sim. So it's just your sim, don't believe! There's a micro SD card slot, which is fine, so you get dual sim.
You get a headphone port. You get eight gigabytes of ram, 128 gigabytes of storage, snapdragon, um, 765 g, it's a 1080p, um, AMOLED, 90 hertz display, so we're going to boot. This up, we've got a single hole, punch and, I believe, that's 32. Megapixels for the upper logo, powered by android, and you've got a 64 megapixel main quad camera system. So I think that there's one ultra-wide and there's potentially a 16 there's potentially like a two megapixel macro or depth sensor.
That's in there um, but you've got the main 64 megapixel sensor and I think it's either 12 or 16 megapixels or probably an 8 megapixel ultra-wide. Let me check, as I try and refresh myself main camera yeah, so it's eight megapixel ultrawide, two megapixels micro, two megapixel depth, 64 megapixel main wide camera um, that's a one over one point: seven three inch sensor quite big um, it will probably pick, will be down to 16 megapixels, and you've got eight megapixels, f, 2.2 119 degree ultra-wide, and it's about to make a 32 megapixel selfie yeah standard procedure, android 11, color, OS 11.1 cool. So this is it now already yeah comparing this and how this initially feels right. This is giving me a much, much better first initial impression right, then, the Samsung Galaxy a52, I'm gonna, be very, very honest with you um, I'm still yet to. As of this recording work on my first impressions, I've done an unboxing of the a52, but I won't lie to you when the a52 just feels like a toy, and I get it's a mid-range job.
But mid-range phones within that 300 to 400-pound price bracket have become very, very, very competitive when it comes to the design to build in the field and if the Pixel 4a is any indication to go by man. The feel of this, even though this is like a tick box, exercise the feel of the a52. Although it comes with all the necessary stuff right, the hat takes I'm not enjoying the a52 as much as I thought, and I'll leave that for my first impressions, let's focus on the upper handed free lights. Okay, we are in the home screen. This is color OS 11.1. My first initial asset test will be the haptics.
How are the haptics? Is it something that they've just forgotten about, or you know, is the haptic feedback? Actually good dark mode, of course, could be on the dark mode. Um, let's go into display. You've got always on display, and you've got the high refresh rate right there, so 90 hertz 60 hertz. So it's already on like that's by default. Thank you very much vivid color mode uh, let's go to yeah the haptic feedback.
Just doesn't even feel you're, not yeah, shout out to the Pixel 4a for stuff, like that man, um yeah, but initial impressions. This is giving me a much better initial vibe than the a52. I can't lie to you. I know the a525g is got 120 hertz, but just mine up for my first impressions. If it's not gone live already, I will pin it up um, so you can actually hear my thoughts on it, but I think I will do a comparison of these two because they sit within the same price range of 300 to 400 pounds um, so around 399 380 that these retail for um, but already this is giving me much better vibes, especially because of the feel of it.
You know that that kind of matte finish that frosted finish yeah. It definitely fills the part, but again both just don't have great haptics. So just the initial feel of typing just feels a bit meh. I believe it's a 6.43-inch screen and the aspect ratio should be close to 20 by 9 aspect, ratio, 19.5 or 19 by 9 aspect ratio around it. So actually it feels quite manageable in the hand which is great but yeah, we'll pretty much run for it.
One thing I'm definitely going to do is a charging test, because man to get 65 watt view of super view. Charging 2.0 at this price point with a charger included with earphones included a 3.5 millimeter, headphone port, dual sim, and you're, getting a 90 hertz AMOLED display as well, and a quad camera system more like a dual camera system. If we're really going to be honest, 64 megapixels and eight megapixel ultrawide, the other two might be redundant as per usual yeah yeah, okay, based on my initial hands-on, as I do with my unboxing I pretty much just go raw in go by the field, is initially good, it's better than the a52 just based on the initial feel and even the build of it but yeah I'll reserve. Until my first impressions of this will do we'll run it through its paces, like you know, do the camera comparisons, the charging test, the reviews, the impressions um and the comparisons against the a52, but yeah. That is it.
For me, this is a quick fire unboxing of the operand x3, like big, shout out to Vodafone UK for supplying. It hopes you all enjoyed this unboxing.
