Hi everyone, my name, is g and welcome to board lemme guess what I have in my hands. Yes, the brand new OnePlus 9 pro this year. The OnePlus comes with a lot of promises, mostly around the camera. OnePlus has released their collaboration with camera manufacturer Hasselblad. So of course, by association alone, consumers are being promised a superb camera experience, but will it pass my photoshoot test? Are these images really Instagram worthy? Let's find out first things? First, I love reviewing some of your favorite tech, so if you're into that, please make sure to give me a follow and say hi in the comment section below I love chatting with all of you okay. So let's get some specs out of the way the OnePlus 9 pro is loaded with 48 megapixels main camera, a 3.3 x, optical zoom, and up to 30 x, digital zoom, which segues us to the good stuff. The ultra-wide lens now OnePlus is putting hello emphasis on the promos of the ultra-wide lens, so bear with me, and let me read to you their quick pr.
Spiel the OnePlus 9 pro 50 mp, ultra-wide camera delivers some of the highest quality photos possible with a smartphone. It features the 11.56 Sony, mix 766 sensors, that is three times two larger than the iPhone 12 Pro max: ensuring enhanced image, quality and lower noise in English. What that really means is that your pictures will look better, and your objects will look crisper its pioneering free form lens uses a series of unique curves to correct the incoming light, bringing distortion at the edge of the photos down to around one percent compared to 10 to 20 percent on most smartphone ultra-wide cameras, translation, your ultra-wide images will look just as good in the edges as it will in the center. But will it, though, take a look at my outside shots using the ultra-wide lens? I personally really like the composition of this shot. The sky looks pretty cool the sun was setting, and the camera did a perfect job.
At capturing the light on the trees towards the right side, the contrast of the trees and the building are super dope. To me, this OnePlus and hasselhoff collaboration promised great color tuning. So I decided to go with the brightest orange jacket. I could find to put that to the test, and it really did make for an awesome shot. But my face is such a disappointment.
Wait not like that. What I mean is I look pixelated. You can't really appreciate the details of the subject. Aka me, you can barely see the shoe laces on my sneakers, which is a shame because it does a pretty good job at defining literally everything else. Here's another shot with me getting closer to the camera.
Now you can really see the details of my top and the color of the jacket really pops, but look at my hair. It looks fuzzy in the edges, like someone took the blur feature on photoshop and doodled it all over my ends, and that makes me kind of sad. Nobody wants fuzzy hair. So naturally, after seeing my fuzz hair, I was a little scared of using portrait mode on the rear camera. But surprisingly, my curls looks pretty legit on these there's a few in there.
That are a little shady, but I would say overall, portrait mode captured my hair texture, plus the color of my jacket, really, really pops. So one of the things that I found kind of annoying while I was shooting with my Bluetooth clicker, I tried to get motion shots, but they were all such a huge fail unsure. How much of that was the clicker versus my phone, but I was just never able to align the shot. I thought I was taking to the shot that actually appeared on screen. Therefore, unfortunately, the motion shots were a no-go.
This time around. I promise I will try a little harder next time. The OnePlus 9 pro has. What to some of you is probably a super cool feature pro mode allows you to select your shooting settings similarly that you could do on an actual camera. You can play around with your ISO your shutter speed, your focus, and some consumers, like myself are probably not going to know what to do with these features, but hey if it helps some of you all, and it doesn't get in my way.
I am totally game for it. In my rear camera shots. You can also appreciate the details of the surrounding granite. The color of my jacket is still true and as well as the texture of my top, I would say overall for the rear camera. These are very good shots, don't expect anything mind-blowing, but do keep in mind that the OnePlus is priced slightly lower at 969, which is just a tad lower than your usual suspects.
So, if you're gravitating towards this phone cause of the savings, I would dare say that the OnePlus 9 pro can definitely sit at the same table as your galaxy and iPhone. I mean they might not let him speak too much, but you can definitely sit there. Lastly, I think- and most importantly, the selfie camera aka your front camera aka, the most underappreciated camera for me, gets an 8 out of 10. The portrait shots and the close-up of these shots are perfect. My hair is a 10.
My eyeballs are sharp skin smoothness is amazing, it's not too sharp, but not too smooth where it looks sort of kind of edited. My only complaint- and this is probably mostly for content creator- is that for yourself time shots with your Bluetooth clicker the phone does a sucky job at bringing the light in keep in mind that I have a ring camera in front of me and a window. Next to me, the shots are still kind of dark and a little underwhelming. So in conclusion, it's the one plus nine pro camerae, the new standard by which we will judge all other cameras by now is the OnePlus 9 pro camerae. Good, yes, can the OnePlus 9 pro camerae be trusted to give you good social media content? Absolutely yes, okay, guys, I've been talking for a while.
