OnePlus 9 Astral Black Unboxing By Big Unbox

What is up guys welcome to the big unbox, where we do that small tech, and today I am back with another big unboxing for you, and today we're at the all new OnePlus 9 to unbox do a quick review. As always, you know I'll, throw up the link in the video description if you want to check it out now. This is gonna, be the cheaper of the two versus the OnePlus 9 pro. Now that's going to cost you a lot. I mean. That's going to cost you a g, so this one is gonna, be the most affordable.

The two 729 is the price point. It comes in two different colors. You got like this purple, it's called winter mist, and then you got a black and you guys know. I went with the black version all day, so we're gonna check out the black version of this one to see if it's a hit or miss. So let's go check it out.

Presentation looks really. Nice got the red box, like usual, a little OnePlus branding right there 5g and then obviously the new camera setup that they've been hyping up pretty good, and this is a really thick presentation. They didn't slim down the presentation. You know how apple and Samsung have been slimming it down. This is even bigger than last year's version, so shout out to OnePlus so keeping it real with the presentation for all the YouTubers out there like myself and then 128 gigs of storage on this one, this model.

So let's go and check it out real quick bust up the trusty unboxing knife, like the old-school unboxing, get right to it to see. If it's a hit kind of curious to see how this is going to feel compared to the uh 5 or the pro now I did the unboxing of the pro really like it. It's got the glass and I think this is more of a plastic version. Obviously this one is in kind of pricing direct competition with the s21 from Samsung. Now you can get a s21 plus depending on the day for a discount, so that kind of begs the question: why would you get this one over the Samsung or vice versa? Would whatever you prefer? I guess you know, depending on there's only two big boys in the game right now for android, which is a little sad.

You want to see lg get back in the game and then there's a few other ones, Sony's kind of creeping along and then google, obviously they kind of need to they need to hit with the new uh six. So, let's be honest, Google does need a hit with that. So hopefully they come out with the big boy phone. Nothing! Really there nope nothing! You get! Some literature, welcome, never settle stickers. We'll put that to the side.

You don't get a case or anything like that, which is a little disappointing fat charging brick. I think it's a 60 watt. So this is a big boy. Brick, that's gonna, supercharge your phone, really quick, and then they always do it. Nice, with the re, the red on white combination.

I, like that, looks very, very clean together, so we'll put this to the side, let's get right to the main feature so again, 6.5-inch screen versus 6.7 inches of the pro. This is the pro, and this is going to be like that mist. I love this color tell me that color is not beautiful. You got this like dark gray at the very bottom, and then it transitions to this. Like light silver, I like that a lot we'll put this away for a second we'll get to it in a minute.

This is the main feature. Take it off sticker hate these stickers, hopefully no stickier residue. Let's give it a quick wipe down, wipe it down, wipe it down, so that black looks yeah. It's pretty deep! It's almost like a! What do you think about that? I, like that black I do like it. You got the OnePlus popping through almost like a really dark black to almost like a really dark blue, like a blacky blue color, but I really like it, and you can see I even like the logo right there, how it's so black.

You can barely see the logo. The camera set up the same thing, it's kind of the same color. Now this will be yeah. I don't really know if it's got that it's got the uh, the actual feel of glass, but you can definitely tell it's. Not the glass back finish definitely lighter than the uh pro, but I can't really tell too much of the difference between the two in terms of the glass back and then kind of this has that more plastic feel to it.

I don't have a problem with it. Now fingerprints, it doesn't appear to be fingerprinted up as much either um. Obviously this is just the first impression this has a little more heavy half to it. A little more premium build to it, but I can't really tell the difference: I'm not going to hate on the actual build quality. I think they did a pretty good job with it.

All things considered, you can see the camera again beautiful camera setup got the brand-new camera set up and looks very clean, very s subtle. I like the way that looks, give it another wipe down the front. It's going to wipe it down again, let's turn it on real quick here. It's definitely light a lot lighter than the uh. The pro see.

If we got any battery juice to it, turn it on real, quick, and it is rocking a pre-installed screen protector. So they brought that back now. I do get a tempered glass screen protector for the nine there's, not one out yet for the pro. So I got the official one we're going to do the unboxing and review of that as well. So keep it tuned, and we know we got all the official accessories on deck.

Got them lined up. So let's go and turn it on real, quick. You can see little hole, pun punch right there, a little more bezel, it's a flat screen versus the curved screen of the two you can see. This has got a little more um blue tint. So you can tell the difference just a little to me.

This is not. I haven't touched anything yet setup wise, so you can see just a little. Can you tell this is clearly that's a clear white versus has a little darker tint to it hole, punch, cutouts right there very similar, a little more bezel again, both very nice phones? This has got a little, have more heft to it, just a little more premium, build to it and let's go and check it out as compared to a couple other phones we got here. Let's see this is the Samsung s21 plus. Now to me, I like this one, a lot.

This is going to be hard to be you get the matte black finish that premium build quality. I like this one same very close to being the same size, and then you can see probably the true difference. This is definitely more of a blue black color, where this is a true matte black, just beautiful you got to go with the Samsung right there in terms of just overall look just. It looks a little nicer to me and then the camera set up very close. I really don't have a preference there very close, and this is the ultra, the big boy out of the group, a little bigger and the camera setup.

It is what it is. Some people love it. Some people hate it, and then I also got right here the pro. So what do you guys think which was your favorite out of these? I think they're, all really beautiful phones, a lot to choose from in terms of pricing. Obviously this is a little more affordable.

I would hi really. I got no problems recommending this phone. This feels really, really nice. You got the upgraded specs. The latest snapdragon nice camera setup feels really, really nice and good in the hands.

Uh perfect size. I really like this size almost once you get to almost seven inches. It starts getting to be a little too big in the hands. So this to me, 6.5-inch screen just feels really natural in the hand. So, overall I'm going to say this is going to be a hit.
