Hello friends welcome to technique. This is normal here and in this video we're going to do the sweetest comparison of the OnePlus 8t with the OnePlus, so OnePlus 70 was last year's uh device uh. We just launched uh towards the end of 2019, and we now have the OnePlus 8t we just launched recently. Now there are differences between these two devices uh. The 80 is powered by the 865 outscore processor, while the OnePlus 7t is powered by the 855 plus the chipset, which is last year's flagship chipset. Now, even in software, there is a difference.
So we'll just go here. We have android 11 uh out of the box on the OnePlus 8t, while uh OnePlus 7t is still running on android 10. Now we also have a difference uh in terms of oxygen OS. This is oxygen OS 11, while this is oxygen, uh 10.3. So that's the difference between these two devices.
Now uh we'll do the speed test. Uh we'll be opening these 16 apps, so first we'll clear off all the apps in the background, and we'll also see uh the options here. So let's just turn off the Bluetooth. On both the devices' location, also, I've just turned on, so you can see that both the devices are now in exact, same uh, condition and uh, we'll just start the speeders. So before starting the speed as well just clear off all the apps you can see here, everything is cleared off now we have enabled gaming mode on both the devices.
So, let's start the speed test. So we'll start these 16 apps, so first up asphalt, 9. So, let's see which is able to open asphalt, 9 faster, so asphalt 9 was definitely faster on the OnePlus 8t uh, which is kind of uh possible, because this is last year's chipset, and this is a newer chipset. Now next is temple run so here again, you can see that temple run was blazing fast on the OnePlus 8t. Now next is play store again.80 was faster, now Chrome browser here again, 80 is faster. Facebook again 80 is faster Twitter again it is faster.
Instagram was slightly faster on the uh 70 Ghana. Almost same time, Amazon again, I was faster on the 80 flip card. Again, it was faster on the 80 file manager. Almost same time, probably settings. It was faster on the 80 YouTube uh, probably almost same time.
Gmail again, 80 was faster camera almost same time and finally maps here you can see.80 was slightly faster, so here you could see that the software definitely played a part, because android, 11 and android 10 did make a difference, and you could see that uh, the OnePlus 8t was faster in most of the apps, especially the games. It was much faster than the OnePlus 7t. Now we'll do the memory management test we'll open these apps in the reverse order both are available. Camera available, Gmail is available, YouTube is available, settings is available, file manager, Flipkart, Amazon, Ghana, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, chrome, play store, temple run and finally, asphalt line, so asphalt, 9 has been reloaded on the OnePlus 7t, which is kind of uh surprising, because uh. This is a perfect UI.
So we have seen that OnePlus has been having a great UI in terms of memory management, but with the multiple updates. Probably OnePlus.70 has this reloading issue with asphalt 9. , so that was the status comparison of these two devices, so you can see that obviously, the difference is much evident here, because the OnePlus 8t has the latest processor and also android 11 out of the box, so that definitely gives an edge to uh the OnePlus 8t. But again you couldn't see much of a difference. These are not really reflected in real world situations.
This just an indicative test in real world. You don't really matter one second or two-second difference both are really powerful devices, so that is the status comparison.
