Official Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G Leather Case Black Unboxing and Review By Big Unbox

What is up guys welcome to the big unbox, where we do that small tech and today, I'm back with another big unboxing for you today we're back with a case from Samsung for your Samsung Galaxy z, fold, flip or z-fold 2. I should say- and this is going to be the official leather cover that really there's not so many accessories available. So this is one of the official accessories that's available to ship right now. Pricing is steep. You know. Obviously the phone itself is steep, so you expect a little of high price, but we're talking 80 bucks.

Now to me, it doesn't look like it's worth: 80 bucks. Just from my actual first, you know impressions of looking at what you're getting in the box, because I've had Samsung leather cases for um lots of phones. They even like the note 20 ultra and that's going to provide you some. You know nice protection, but is that any more than this one? I don't know it's we'll see. Obviously it's got more to protect, but we'll check it out together.

Pricing is definitely steep, but there's not a lot of options. One with the black version, so you get the black. You got the green and I think they're like a bronze color. That's that brown tan color. That should look really nice against your uh, the gold one which a lot of people have, but I don't want the black version.

Let's get to the unboxing. Let's get right to it and get to some accessories for this bad boy to see how it is I'm not. I haven't even really done anything with this phone. You know why it's so expensive that I wanted to get some case on it before I'm, not raw dogging.

This device does not raw dog. This device slap a case on it. I even got I even forked over the money for the insurance. I'll never do that. So this is one of those phones, I'm gonna, try to baby.

You just never know. So. Let's check this out, see what we're getting here so like this interesting. This is all you're getting huh interesting, so this is actually. This is what you're getting that's pretty crazy.

All right, I'm looking to see if there's anything else got to be missing something right. So this is it're getting you're going back cover and look at that? That's it not anything. I wasn't expecting much for the front, but maybe something to cover up the bumper area, but that's it. So I guess, there's really nothing to cover up on the front since that's part of your screen, but for 80 bucks am I that's crazy. Am I thinking this is crazy, guys, 80 bucks for this.

It just seems like there's nothing to it. I'm not gonna, say it's bad, I'm just saying what the for 80 bucks. What are we doing here? All right? Let me get a. I have to get a new microfiber cloth. You know what we're going to do here, we're going to wipe it down, wipe it down, make this thing look beautiful before we pop it into place, I'm really kind of uh shocked, but what we're getting here for that price point.

So excuse me: I'm a little shocked. Let's wipe it down, wipe it down, though, that thing looks beautiful, make it look clean for the camera, shine it up real nice. We got um some Samsung. I think we got another Samsung case coming, and then we got the sign pre-ordered, so that should come out soon enough. I think it's coming out later this month, so that might be something that's a little more manageable.

So it's going to pop it out like this snap it into place. Like this told you guys, I haven't really done nothing with this. I just wanted to get a case on it. You know what I'm saying get a case on it, swipe it down again a little cranky right. There hear that interesting.

That's what you're going to get again! Nothing for the front, got your screen up front, nothing on the sides completely exposed. So if I'm dropping this, that's that's a little. That's a little dangerous! There's nothing across the sides. You raw ROG in the sides, your ROG raw dog. In the front.

You just got a little back coverage and that's it I'm not saying it doesn't feel bad. It feels good feels pretty nice in the hands. It's got a nice texture to it. Furthermore, it's not going to add a lot of additional grip or anything like that, because most, your grip is coming from the actual side of the device anyways. So keep that in mind, let's check out the camera protection.

Actually, let's just look at this real quick again, some basic black Samsung logo right there camera protection, let's check it out, yeah decent enough. Actually I like what they did with this, so you can see it's actually raised up enough around the camera area. It's still slim, but it's definitely protecting the camera hump, and you can see how the leather actually comes out right there. You see that right there that little bump it's coming on like this, so they actually did a nice job with that extra reinforcement around the actual camera area. So very nicely done.

Let's do this we'll open them up like this. Let's check out the lip because everybody likes a fat Elizabeth, and this is interesting because you're getting some slippage, barely we're getting barely getting any lipids right there on this side, but nothing around this side. So that's interesting, so you fold it is does. It still feels like it's going to hold the fold around the actual device. It feels still crisp like it's a nice shut.

You see, you're getting that still a nice shut feeling where it's not like sticking out or anything like that, but it is interesting that you're just getting up to this point and then the rest of this is completely exposed. So if you drop it, this part is completely done so keep that in mind if you're looking at this particular case. So like that really nothing else to review. We check out the bottom right here, so you got your cutout speaker, grille or speaker um right there is completely exposed. You got your microphone right there and then the cutout for your power, nothing right there! Now, the there you go.

So your actual fingerprint sensor right there easy access that I, like that. Cutout's fine, I got no problem with that at all. Its easy access, and it actually feels really nice to hold. It feels really nice to rest in your hand with this particular device. I don't have a problem with the actual build quality of this at all.

It actually feels really, really nice, but it just almost feels like it's missing, something I'm not sure what it would be, but I just feel like it's just a ha. I mean: what do you guys think? Could there be something? Could they actually do a case where you're getting some coverage around the area around your actual fold? I think that that's the question I haven't seen a lot of reviews for the first generation, but to me, you're, just leaving this entire area forget about the screen, we'll get you know worry about that later, but to me, you're, just leaving this part exposed and then just like the metal area around the bumper part itself exposed. So to me, that's that's a little leery. So here's my advice to you. If there's nothing else available, which I don't know how many actual cases are available get this just because you can slap something on it, it's expensive, but to me, it's better than scratching up the back of it but dang.

That's that's a tough one. I can't say this is a hit by any means. It may be something I would say get because you need something for this particular phone at that particular time. Does that make any sense? So, with that said, we're going to kind of do a little, maybe hit it's definitely not a mini hit. It's a maybe hit.

Maybe if you, if you've got other options, get something else if you've got no options check out this one. But for that price point how expensive this device is definitely slap a case on it.
