Hey, what's happening everybody sudden using the Samsung Galaxy S 10 ears, my daily for three weeks. So then I decided to pop the SIM card back in there. My note 9 and just see how everything felt right and here's the reason I did this little experiment. So when I started using 2 s10 II people at work, people at the different places that I go were like: hey, that's a tiny phone. You got it. I was like really, you know because before nobody ever said: hey, that's a huge phone.
You got people just it was a phone right. I guess people got used to seeing me with. You know the different notes and the other bigger. You know, phones that are out there right. So I started using this as my daily driver, the descent.
So anyway, here we go with the North woods. The note 9. Now the one thing I want to tell you. I noticed right away. I mean look, maybe I'm just going through a small phone phase.
But yes, the note 9 is big. I still manage it. It's not that it's not that big of a deal you know, I, don't have like tiny hands right now: I'm, not like Webster right about normal hands, but I will say this like. Whenever you're like kept tapping on stuff I got used to the s10 II, where I was not, you know, I wasn't reaching as high okay. You see what I'm talking about already so yeah so, and you know especially like when I have that you know having to go across the screen.
Alright, but still look they're big of a deal or I. Don't because I'm, not one of those people I'm not obsessed with one-handed usage I'm, not like that I don't have a problem holding a phone and messing around I'm, not trying to get everything like right there, but still- and one thing I did want to mention here- and this might like to push people over the edge, the Qualcomm 855 in the Samsung Galaxy s, 10 II, it's a gunslinger! It's an it's a trailblazer! It's fast! Alright! Now I get some frame rate drops, especially when I'm opening a folder ever, and you can see. I got rid of the edge screen right here, because I was getting a little of that the edge screen right. That's not a big deal, but it's something: a tech, nerd, wouldn't notice so Sam over here. Let me open something: real, quick, I, don't want to put myself on blast all right.
So let me do this again. So say it did you see that right there so say, I open something, I go into Chrome, and it doesn't in chrome right. They do it to better terror. All right! You saw it there so periodically whenever I'm in that folder it does that now with the Samsung Galaxy S 10 e, real quick. Let me just make sure to put myself on blast.
Okay here we go, so I'll go ahead and go back. It's its smooth! It doesn't. You know, there's none of that issue so whether I press, the home or the back okay, it doesn't do it, it's just fast, all right, and it's not that big of a deal. It's a nitpicky issue. Now the one thing I did notice.
Whenever I went back to using the note, 9 I'm one of those people that I gravitate towards new features right away, right, and I am especially when it comes to a camera. Now the one thing alright you all see that right there. This only happens when I make videos, by the way that my note 9 does not lag, but there you saw that right. There you saw that camera lag so anyway. How embarrassing so the one thing I was doing when I had the note 9 I kept opening the camera and I kept looking for that wide-angle lens, and it's not there right, like you, can do over here with the s10 8 alright.
Well, you know what that that camera wasn't even lightning fast, but there's the wide-angle lens right. There, I love taking wide-angle lenses because I go in and out of different auditoriums throughout the day, sometimes, and I like. Are they taking these wide-angle shots? Ok and the note 9 doesn't have that other than that, though, I mean it's not that big of a deal now, the one thing I did notice with the note 9 is the battery life. Yes, it's good, but the other day I was outside, and I had this thing turned up to about 90%, and it goes through battery life. You know just as quick all right and just look I've been using this all day right here.
Let me come over here, real fast go to settings. Let me come over here to device care I'm looking to the camera here, alright, and you go to battery how's the battery life today, Howard town, where teens go I'm at 20 percent right now. Ok, so I'm at 17 hours for our screen on time and that's 20 percent, so I'm easily going to hit 5 to 6 hours, and I'm, probably going to hit. You know the 20-hour mark with destiny, but I'm not gonna. Do that only kidding after a while, once I'm done doing like the 3 or 5 battery cycles, I, don't like waiting.
My phone's drop under 50, but I've been busy today, so I really haven't had time to you know. Do the whole charger thing? Well, you see right here with the s10 II Wow. You know I'm right, Tony, predominant, 19%, and I'm doing well still, alright I mean, so I mean it's not s.10 numbers because depends watch because this is a big display and if I keep it on, if I keep the brightness down to about 75 70 I, easily pull 20 24 hours, and I'm counting standby time as well. Ok, so I usually get 20 24 hours with 7 hours. You know, 5 to 7 hours depends on alright, so, but I want to say the main thing.
Whenever I went to the note 9, what I noticed is definitely the size, and you know the whole punch in the s10 II. It's not like crazy, intrusive, like the pill punch, that's in the s10 plus, so I didn't notice it as much whenever I was watching videos on just watch some videos right- and let me see here this isn't a video. It's just a photo but I. Let me see here they are watching a video right, and I'm over here going full screen. You know with the note, with the note 9 you don't get, you don't get a whole punches.
You don't get! None of that stuff. Alright, so it's nice, it's a very pleasurable experience, and it's a big displace, so I do miss that whenever I'm you know well, luckily, I have this someone I'm home I can actually you know, pull out the note, 9 and watch videos alright. So it's not that big of a deal, but whenever I'm over with this okay come on now load up. What is all this stuff? We come down here same video or not even the same video. It's telling the people so whatever I'm with this phone right here, and I'm watching videos, you know I, don't want to go BAM and yeah, it's nice to do that.
You want to get all the screen real estate. You want to utilize all of your screen real estate and there's that little hole, punch, thingy, which is silly. Furthermore, you know, I mean- and it's silly to me- I'm sorry, I'm, not giving no-one a break, I, don't like notches I, don't like the hole, punches I, don't like pill, punches I, don't think of that stuff. Alright, so the note 9 definitely will always get the win in this category. All right so anyway, so as far as that goes, I mean get out of this.
Now fingerprint scanner fingerprint sensor on both of these they're equally fast, so I mean not a big deal, did it anyway, yeah so and as far as the sound goes from both of these they sound equally great. They sound equally loud I. Don't have any issues I'm, not the kind of person that needs to turn the volume all the way up anyway. I have good hearing so uh. So now you know why my SIM card, even ok, now my SIM card, is in the Samsung Galaxy.
As Kenny yesterday, I tried using the note, I didn't try. I did use way no tonight as a daily driver, and I was like I'm still. You know, maybe I'm still in the honeymoon phase, with the s10 II, but anyway, I just wanted to talk to you about a few things that I noticed regarding these two devices and my experience thank all of you for watching catch you in the next one.
