So, there's no way that a $30 food stamp phone can compete with a thousand dollar Android phone, or can it let's find out what's up guys TK here with total tech, and I am back with another video, and today I'm putting the ZTE blade Z max up against the Galaxy Note 8, let's get directly into it first things. First, both of these bad boys got dual cameras. Now, if you're wondering what's shooting the video today, it is the iPhone 8 plus shooting in 4k 60 frames per second, and I'm uploading. It one take RAW, so you can get the full effect to the video. Both have fingerprint scanners. On the back me personally, I like the ZTE placement, more than I, like the Samsung placement, ZTE has a nice drippy material on the back.
Samsung is glass, looks wise I, like the Samsung feel wise I, like the ZTE I'm going to give the win to Samsung. On the front. We got a 6 inch 1080p display on the ZTE, which looks amazing, colors pop. It looks great on the Samsung. We got a six point.
Three inch Super AMOLED 2.5 k display whatever is quad HD, display, plus beautiful. Now you need to go into settings to up the brightness or up the display level. If you want it to be there in order to get that full display, look and I have it on mine and damn it. This is probably the most beautiful display. I've ever looked at again: thousand-dollar phone $30 phone, I'm going to say that a lot.
Now? What do you get for a $30 phone? Now you get to $30 price. You do have to pour it in a number two. You do have to pour it in a number to Metro PCS. They give you a hundred off and then this phone ends up being thirty bucks, plus your service and tax. So let's say you get the most expensive plan, which is what fifty bucks with this you're.
Looking at eighty you're, probably looking at like less than a hundred bucks out the door with a month of service and a full-featured smartphone and the camera on this doesn't suck stay tuned link will be in the description, but tomorrow, the next day I will publish a ZTE blade. What Tim they do. They make them it ZTE Blade, Max, I. Don't know why the notice call this is Emacs. Pro 2, but okay, blades Emacs I will do a video comparison between this and the iPhone 8, as well as some different shots against the note 8, as well with this $30 food-stamp phone I'm.
Sad again, now, listen don't get offended and in your feelings and start crying because man, you call this a food-stamp phone I use it I still use the ZTE Max, Pro and I called that a food-stamp phone. Does that mean I'm on food stamps? No, it just means it's a cheap phone. It's a budget phone, it's something! I call it just like some of my call think something: a budget phone you get offended when someone's call some a budget phone, no get out your goddamn feelings. This is a food stamp phone, that's what I'm calling it if you don't like it, click that button battles now USB type-c. So there's a note, headphone jack, that's a feature now definitely win microphone at the top there.
You can see it. You got your power button, which is textured which I like volume, rocker they're, not removable battery, and this is not water resistant. Now you do have hard keys down here at the bottom they're, not like soft keys, so you do get the full display which I like now Samsung. Does that now too, there's a little button? You can click to make the notification I mean the navigation buttons hide, but I like this again 30 bucks a thousand bucks. Now where the Galaxy Note 8 wins alright.
Now, where the Galaxy Note 8 will actually catch a win is in one of the most important features, not just water resistance. It's the S Pen. Okay, now ZTE can figure out how to make a stylus phone for the same price and have it be as functional as the s-pen I leave I'd. Have we paid more outside the discount? We get with metro I'd, happily pay more. Just for that pen feature.
The s-pen is the deciding factor in almost every phone comparison. I will put the note up against and in my opinion it is an unbeatable option. The S Pen is everything the S Pen is everything the S Pen is everything he said. So there is that the S Pen is everything so, in my opinion, yeah. The S Pen is everything that said if I had to pick between one of the other like if you're on a budget, and you don't have a bunch of money, and you're on a T-Mobile network anyway, you ride this I'm on Metro for a month and unlock it for free, okay right to the unlock app go right here.
Device unlock after 30 days, don't worry about what anybody else is. Going to tell you in the comment now that doesn't work in a've unlocked, so many Metro phones after 30 days, you don't know what you're talking about go into the Metro app unlock it and then, if you want to go to Circuit or you want to go to real T-Mobile or something real T-Mobile, has this phone I think -? It cost a little more money? It's just you know you just might have to you know food stamp it out for a month on Metro and then ride a team Oh. What's the same thing, it is what it is. So, in my opinion, the best value, hands-down ZTE, Max, ZTE, Blade, Max man, AT you all, got a you all need to figure out whose working in you all's marketing. Man just name your phones, right man, alright, the blade Z max, wins value eyes.
Hands down, beats the out of the note camera wise for photos. Pictures in perfect lighting on outside you're, not gonna, like what I'm going to say, there's ham there side by side if I took some just I may do this on Twitter I made you it on Instagram and just post some random photos, and let you guess between the note and the ZTE Max and I guarantee you I'm willing to put money on it. You're not gonna, be able to tell the difference between the two I'm willing to put money on it. Put my I'm out. This is what it is.
So there is that so yeah, so you got that right there, but when it comes to features you know the ability, the wireless charging everything else at the Samsung has. If money is no object, and you don't mind paying a thousand bucks for your phone, then in my opinion the Galaxy Note 8 is the winner and if I had to pick one myself, obviously I'm picking the Galaxy Note 8, but for my friends that are on a ball and on a budget, and you just need a phone to be able to go out. Maybe you need a phone because. You know you're going to get in a wreck that night take the ZTE. If you break it, we paid 30 bucks for it.
It's not going to hurt that bad. Don't take the note you in a cry when you break it, get both be like Dion. Both hit me in the comments. If you know what I'm talking about, let me know what you guys think in the comments section down below. In my opinion, the Galaxy Note 8 wins here just because it features if we're talking just stick strictly value to price gonna, ZTE wins, but my personal preference again Galaxy Note 8.
Let me know what you guys think in the comments below and let me know what you think about the camera quality here from the iPhone 8 plus, it's 4k 60 frames per second peace.
