NEW Spigen SLIM ARMOR PRO Case for Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G By EBPMAN Tech Reviews

Hey guys Eggman here and in today's video we're going to take a look at a brand-new case for the Samsung, galaxy, z, folder and speaking. That might be the best protective case on the market. This is the slim armor pro, and it was just released today. Let's check it out now I've purchased a lot of cases for my Samsung Galaxy z, fold, 2. , trying to find a case that gives me the best protection. Now I found cases that protect the back.

I found cases that protect the back and the front. I found cases that protect the spine too, but I haven't found a case that doesn't add a lot of bulk and protects everything about my phone uh. So today we're taking a look at this new case uh I pre-ordered this case. This is from speaking, it's the galaxy z-fold 2 case, and it's called the slim armor pro. I have the slim armor, but it adds some bulk.

So this is the slim armor pro, so this may be the best case that gives you the best protection. So as we take a look at what the case looks like and some of the changes you're going to see that there's some unique features that you found in other cases from speaking, especially when it comes to the back here. Look at this backplate, so the backplate here has memory foam, that's going to protect your phone in the event that you drop it in the back. It also has this little tape, these tape areas right. So when you remove it, it basically has an adhesive that sticks to your phone right.

So that's going to be some sticky material. We've seen this on the Galaxy Z flip cases, even the Samsung one has kind of like a little sticky stuff, and it has it in these corners and then this is where I think it's unique. It has a hinge mechanism. Take a look at this. I'm going to release it see that hinge mechanism.

So it has this hinge mechanism here that also has memory foam protecting your spine, and then it has again these little glue areas that, as you remove the stickers, it kind of adheres to your phone. But it has again, this hinge: that's going to protect the hinge of your phone, so polycarbonate material. You can see that it has also. It has a texture feel to it on the back, which is really nice, and it protects the front of your phone, and it looks like it's going to have a great fit. So what we're going to do is we're going to put it on our phone to see what it looks like, and then we'll see if this is the case to buy now, since I have a lot of testing still to do, I'm not going to remove the stickies from the back, I'm just going to place it on here, just to see what it looks like so just part in little sheets of sticky stuff.

That's that's hanging out. So with this all I'm going to do is I'm going to snap this case into place just like this, and then we'll go ahead and see what this looks like. So it's in place right there, and this is what the back looks like and at first impression it is a matte finish, not thick right. What we'll do is, I think, we'll do a video doing the comparison between the other case that they have but matte finish. As we take a look at the camera module it's well protected.

I don't have a tempered glass protector on it, yet I do have some from SP from a white stone that we're going to be testing shortly, but you can see it does a good job with the camera module, but we still have the spine here open. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to place this on top of it? This looks interesting, so let's go ahead and snap this in place just like that- and this is what it looks like now- keep in mind that I have its doesn't look like there's any sticky material here. All I have right here is: is this memory foam, but this is what it would look like right and take a look at that, so it's relatively thin not as thick as some other cases. You'll notice here that it's giving you some decent screen protection right. Some great screen protection going all the way around, so it has some nice depth to it.

Right feels good in the hand, easy to find the fingerprint sensor right there, so that works nicely. Let's open it up, see what it's like, so I'm going to open it up. Oh, I like that. Look at what happens here in the back. So how does this hinge work? Ah, so notice it right here it actually overlaps it when you open it, it kind of comes over the back here.

So this is how it will rust. So it's going to give you yeah it kind of has almost like it gives you like a viewing angle and if I were to use it in this mode, it also gives you kind of like a little prop right there. So it's nice all right! Let's do this way, so you can see what happens all right. So take a look. Take a look at this.

That's nice right, so I've seen spines that actually go in this one stays on the outside. So there's pros and cons to that right. So, first you, you won't be able to lay this down flat on a flat surface. You know face up, but let's look at that again, look at how it opens and closes all right. That's really nice and the cool thing about this is that it's going to protect your spine.

So if you do drop it uh, and it hits this way gets protected. So the question is um: does this still support wireless charging? So I'm going to pull a wireless charger out of here. Let's move this stuff out of the way. I've got some other cases that we're going to be reviewing, I'm going to put it right here, and we'll see if it does, and it supports wireless charging. So that's a win so guys overall impressions with the slim armor pro, I'm digging it.

I think that this is my new favorite case um. I like the way it has kind of like an angle here that helps you guide your fingers to this area, so it kind of has like an angle, as you can see right there. Furthermore, I like the fact that it has good camera protection. Furthermore, I'm really digging this back here, the fact that it protects the spine and as I open it up, it kind of just again seamlessly goes into that area. Just like that, that's a nice design.

All the cutouts seem to align nicely. It doesn't feel like it's adding a lot of bulk uh. The back here has kind of a texture to it, so it makes sure that it stays in your hand, um all in all uh. The next thing I got to test is just uh overall. If it supports a white stone, dome glass screen protector.
