New Sony E Ink Tablet Coming! Why Is This Important? By MorningCoach

Sony is going to be launching a new ink tablet. Why is this so important? Hey guys, good morning, JB here, I'm excited you're with me this uh today. I don't know what time it is for you, but I woke up immediately and had to do a video, because goody reader, who really is tied to Japan, distributes a lot of these products announced uh. That Sony is going to be coming out with a new e-ink tablet. Now. Why is this so important? Well, as you know, I use the paper daily.

That's what this is. This is the paper and basically the paper is on a four-year-old technology. It still works great uh, the stylus. I you know it works. You got to plug it in, but there are some battery issues with the stylus and there are some things that they have some issues with, because they're using Sony's four-year-old technology, I still use it every day.

I still think it competes well. They just upgraded their engineers, just upgraded the stylus, so it works just about as fast as a remarkable two. It's actually the second-fastest stylus in the market, and so Sony is now releasing a new uh ink tablet according to goody reader, and I'll post, that video below goody reader is really on top of things. They put a blog post up yesterday, now, what's cool about it, what they're reporting is that the new tablet is going to be using uh styluses, so, like the remarkable styluses, all the other styluses will now work on the new device. The other thing is that Sony is not releasing this according to them in their blog post, that third parties are going to be releasing it, which would mean the Fujitsu squadron and for people like me that, like the urologic paper uh, that is where who will be releasing these products, so Sony will be building manufacturing them for these companies.

So why is this so important? And why did I have to do a video right away? Well, because one, I don't want to stun clerk logic sales. I think it's great. This product still works. I think it's awesome that you know I've now I can get really invested into their software, because my concern was always that they didn't have a future road map that I didn't know what was going to happen. Sony has really not discussed what they're going to do in the future and what's going to happen when this device gets even older and doesn't work anymore now, with a new 10.3 and a 13.3 inch device coming out from Sony, it is my hope that quark logic obviously will also upgrade follow that hardware path and give them something that really, I think, would be the most superior ink tablet in the market non-backlighted for you, onyx users. I know you still love all your your you know the things that you can do on there, but I know a little birdie has said that their reader that's coming out, for this is going to be a great device and anything that we've known since June since they've gotten in the game.

They have really been active. Uh in this community, uh they've been discussing things uh with here. The engineers watch these videos. I know that they've they're working on making things the best that they possibly can, and they've really been aggressive in the marketplace, and I see them continuing that path and now, instead of them trying to put their awesome software on you know four-year-old technology now they're going to have the opportunity, I'm assuming these are all assumptions uh on some new technology. So me for me personally.

That means I can even get more heavily invested in the paper system, even though I use it daily. I can use it even more knowing that there is a future pathway and personally, with these devices I usually keep them two years. Anyways, it's just like my computers about every two years. I change them out as a business owner. I know some people keep things longer, but you know I typically run through um run through these devices pretty quickly, and so for me, I'm just super excited and- and I would love to see a smaller one of these uh- the 10.3 inch with the quark logic software on it. So why is this again so important is we've had these discussions and I would love to hear your comments below.

Is that the quark logic, and you can see a lot of people really are enjoying their software? Enjoy it? But they've had some issues a little with the hardware and now a sudden Sony's, coming up with an upgraded hardware, faster processor, different stylus, it's going to be a pretty cool device, I think, and it's going to give them a real advantage in the market. So again I appreciate goody reader, breaking this news to us and to me, as a paper user and a daily user. It really excites me to know uh that there is a future path. I thought Sony was giving up on this product, but now it looks like they're going to continue forward. Maybe quark logic and Fujitsu's had some sales right.

Maybe there it looks like they're getting some sales and Sony's going wow we'll stay in this market uh. So that's a good thing, I think, for everyone and again competition goodness in the market, it's making remarkable push a little harder. I would, I would think, super note and making all these products better. So, as always, I would love to hear in the comments below what do you think? What does this mean to you? I gotta find out from quark logic what are they thinking, because this could be a huge game changer in this e-ink market and could really make a difference for a lot of people, and I already use it daily but, like I said for me, the thing is now.

It allows me to know there's a future with this product and there's going to be some upgraded hardware coming along and as long as quark logic and Fujitsu keeps with their agreements, then they're going to have the ability to put their software on these devices and create you know a more supported device and a newer device.
