Hi guys it's Frankie from Frankie tag, good to see you guys again, and I'm here to share my initial preview, video between the 11i and the OnePlus 9 pro now guys. Yesterday, I did my first look at this device, and I was exhausted, so I probably shouldn't even do a video, but you know work has been pretty busy right now, and I'm trying to squeeze in videos when I can to share with you all and what I wanted to, let you know is that I will be doing a camera test coming up very soon between this me11i and the OnePlus 9 pro. Why is that the case? Well, look this OnePlus 9 pro! I haven't fully reviewed it yet, but I want to really try out this mix 766. I think it is sensor in this phone and really put it against what I think is now one of the best sensors on the market, the hm2 108, megapixel hm2, the kind of follow-up, or I guess some people have said it's- maybe a lower level version of the original AMX. But let's face it. This is still a terrific camera in this mi 11i, and I want to see how these stack up in the camera department.
I've already been taking photos on the ferry over here, and let me tell you: these phones are gonna, duke it out stays tuned for that you know, but initially just wanting to talk about these phones in particular, of course. As you know, the 11i, this phone has been out in some iterations quite a bit already. We've seen it in the Poco f3 in a similar format, we've seen it in the Redmi k40 series, of course, with the k40 pro and the pro plus, which is essentially the china variant of this phone. Then, of course we have the OnePlus 9 pro, which I got to tell you. I'm loving this phone, but I am finding you know, there's a similar thing that happens when I use OnePlus phones.
I love the software. Furthermore, I love the experience, but it just feels a bit sterile. It feels like it's. It doesn't feel as comfortable to me now. Maybe it's because I've used a lot of mini over the years, and I'm just more accustomed to this software skin, but that's not taking away from the fact that this OnePlus 9 pro is buttery smooth, and it runs beautifully.
If you compare these two phones in terms of hardware, I mean you can definitely see, they are premium, build phones, but you got to give the edge here to the OnePlus 9 pro, of course, more expensive, and it's going to be including a metallic edge and this gorgeous matte bag. While the me11i, let's face it, I'm not as huge a fan of this glossy back. I would have loved to see a matte back version for this, and I know they do exist so design wise. I do give the edge to the OnePlus 9 pro, but in terms of display. Furthermore, I think this is where, for the price this me 11, I just impresses with one of the most beautiful flat panel displays on the market, and you know what let's face it guys we've had so many of these curved displays the OnePlus 9 pro is no different.
We see it on the mi 11, we see it on the m11 ultra. We see it on the s21 ultra to have a flat panel display deliver. This good quality of a display is really important to me and I think, to be honest, if you are a flat panel lover, then this is the phone to get hands down. Now you could go back and forth, but maybe we'd have to give the edge here to the OnePlus 9 pro strictly because of resolution. This phone has a quad HD, while this me 11, I have a full HD display, which, honestly you can't really tell the difference, but it does lose in the resolution department 120 hertz on both, but I would give the slight edge in terms of display to the Xiaomi to the OnePlus 9 pro performance, of course, snapdragon 8 on both of these phones and the mi 11.
I am definitely you know for the price delivering some serious specs here with this device and of course I think, that's where they're most even but of course, I'll be doing a full throttling test for these devices in the coming week. So stay tuned, we'll see if the cooling of this OnePlus 9 pro is better than what this phone has experienced and remember guys, Poco f3. Some of these other phones of this format have had some screen dimming issues. I will be also checking to see if this phone has that problem as well dual speakers on both of these devices, but the m11i has a dedicated speaker at the top and, of course the camera test stay tuned for that. But let me tell you, comparing the images just initially there's some good things to say about both of these phones.
Of course, the 9 pro with the telephoto capabilities will do a better job, but the mia11i definitely strikes back here with some really quality shots, and this hm2 sensor does not disappoint so anyways guys, that's just the initial preview of this and stay tuned, of course, for the full camera test between these two bad boys. I mean honestly this me 11 I to me is the best example of a kind of affordable flagship phone, while the OnePlus 9 pro has really moved into flagship territory, ultra flagship, even territory, a more kind of fair comparison might have been this phone versus the OnePlus 9, but I don't have the OnePlus 9. So I'm going to make this comparison, and I do want to see how this sensor, the IMAX 766, if I'm not mistaken, compares to this hm2 stay tuned, of course, with a full camera test coming soon. But hit me up in the comments me 11i or OnePlus 9 pro, which phone would you pick and that's it for this video? If you liked it give me the thumbs up, give me that sound.
