An ultra-thin device with flagship power under the hood. This is my knee 11 light 5g review, hi guys it's Frankie from Frankie tag, good to see you guys again, and I'm here to share my review of the 11 lite 5g. I've been using this phone for around four or five days now, and let me tell you guys: this may be one of the best mid-range phones that Xiaomi has delivered this year. So let's go down the laundry list here. Design display performance, quick audio test, want to share my camera samples. Is this the best mid-range phone for you? Let's have a look so starting with design and display at 6.8 millimeters 159 grams, as I mentioned before. This is the key reason why you would pick up this phone.
It is just so sleek and so thin, and even though the edge is made of plastic, it's still a very premium built device, especially because of this gorgeous matte back, and I'm loving this yellow color, it's just stunning and looking around the phone, you have your volume rocker, and you have your power button, which also doubles as a side mounted fingerprint scanner. You have an IR blaster, your sim tray, USB and your speakers and on the front you have really tiny bezels on the bottom and a punch hole here on the left, and it's a little larger than the punch holes than we've. Seen on Redmi Note 10 pro, but it's still a very modern looking design overall and the camera module on the back. Just like the mi 11s looks really nice with that very modern 2021. Look, let's face it guys for many of you out there.
This is the reason you'll pick up this phone and companies just don't make phones that are this sleek and this thin in this day and age anymore. So overall you're going to love the design of this me 11 lite 5g, one of the sleekest phones, I've ever tested here on Frankie tech and with a 6.55 inch AMOLED display 90 hertz. It's a really gorgeous flat panel display with solid viewing angles. Now I wouldn't say it's to the level of the displays on Redmi Note, 10 pro or Poco f3, but I'm glad they included at least 90 hertz refresh rate on this phone and YouTube. Playback is solid on this me 11, lite 5g and the punch hole being here on the left side does disappear when you're watching content and with l1 security level on this global me11 live 5g you'll be HD, Netflix capable.
So it's a l1 party here on Frankie tech and our performance is definitely one of the strengths of this phone with the snapdragon 780g. This is a terrific mid-range chipset and that's why you'd want to pick up the 5g version, because the regular 4g version is using the snapdragon 732g, which is still a solid chipset, but it's not going to offer the kind of flagship level performance you're going to get from this 780g and everything on this phone flies guys. I mean mini 12 experience on this phone is terrific, and you see here I'm on mini 12.0.2, a rock solid and very smooth experience on this me 11 lite 5g. Now this is sounding like the ultimate mid-range phone, but there is one catch and that is battery life with a 4250mah battery. This is probably the weakest aspect of this phone and I guess that's the sacrifice you need to make when you're making a device this thin and light.
So just keep that in mind, but either way guys even at 90 hertz, I'm getting through the day with his phone, but at least you'll have 33 watt fast charging on this me 11 lite 5g to top this phone up in about an hour, and so just know what you're getting into by picking up such a sleek device. You're not gonna, get that level of battery that you see on the other. Five thousand William phones from Xiaomi and the side mounted fingerprint scanner is super responsive, just like the Poco f3 and these other phones. It's pretty quick as well, and I know a lot of you guys wish you had in-display fingerprint scanners on these recent Xiaomi phones, and I agree, but at least the capacitive fingerprint scanner is accurate and pretty quick on this device and the vibration motor on the mi 11 lite 5g is good, but it's definitely not to the level of the best vibration motors we see from Xiaomi on phones like the mi 11 or the m11 ultra. It's a decent experience, but it's definitely not flagship level, and you'll have all the latest comms on this m11 live 5g, including Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, 5.2, and you do have NFC for Google Pay on this phone as well, and it's time for the audio speaker test and dual speakers on this me 11 lite 5g and in my experience, they've been pretty loud, pretty good quality now they're not to the level of the mi 11, though I think that phone just does it better when it comes to speakers. But let's have a quick, listen here to lounger on the me11 lite 5g.
What can I say? They're not going to fill a room with sound, or you'll get a decent listening experience from the dual speakers on this me 11 line.5G and last but not least, we have the cameras with a 64, megapixel, f, 1.8, main camera, an 8 megapixel ultra-wide 119 degrees, field of view and a 5 megapixel macro camera. These are essentially very similar cameras to what I've seen on the mi 11, just replacing the 108 mp sensor for the 64. And, overall, the rear cameras on this phone are decent. They do take some quality shots, but yes, you're not going to get that level of detail from the 108 megapixel camera. My closest approximation to the quality of these cameras is kind of like the Poco or even the Redmi k40 pro that I did test on the channel as well and on the front you have the standard, 20, megapixel, f, 2.2, front camera from Xiaomi, which is still shooting only 1080p 30 or 60 fps video, and you do get 4k up to 30. Fps video on the mi 11 live 5g's, rear cameras, it's a pretty decent camera experience on this phone, it's on flagship level, but it definitely does the job but have a look at these samples and hit me up in the comments.
What do you think do? This is rear-facing video on the mi 11 light 5g, shooting in 4k, 30 fps and here by the chichi center gorgeous building now walk towards the sun? Good stabilization, though, on this phone wow that's way too bright that way, but listen to the mics here, how they sound and hit me up in the comments. What do you think and there's this front-facing video on the mi 11 lite 5g, shooting in 1080p 30 maximum 1080p 60 on this phone, which you know for the price, is more forgivable than it is on a phone like the me11 ultra? But here are the mics listen to how they sound hope. You guys are doing well and hit me up in the comments. What do you think so? That's it for this video and my final verdict on the mi 11 life IG. You know this is not my favorite phone from Xiaomi that I've reviewed.
But let me tell you there are two key reasons why you would pick up this phone number. One is the design and the matte glass back the flat panel display and the ultra sleek look is the key reason you would pick up this phone, but I'd say the second and big reason: you'd want to pick up this phone is because of the chipset. The snapdragon 780 g is definitely looking like a promising chipset on this phone and if you do have the money to step it up from the 4g to the 5g version, I definitely recommend it and this chipset is brand new. So you know you're going to get great, nearly flagship level performance with this phone that I can't really say the same for with the 4g version, and if you can pick it up in this gorgeous, yellow color, then even better. It's just one of the most stunning beautiful phones from Xiaomi that I've reviewed this year, but hear me out in the comments.
What are your thoughts on this me 11 lite 5g, and are you interested in this version of the phone or the 4g version of the phone hit me up in the comments? I'd love to hear about it and that's it for this video. If you liked it give me that thumbs up and if you love the content of Frankie tech subscribe to the channel, hit the bell icon for future updates and stay tuned guys, I will be doing a full throttling test on this phone, including gang shin impact gameplay, coming in a separate video very soon stay tuned. So that's it, and this is where I leave you by saying this is Frankie tech signing off have a good one, so sleek guys they just don't make them like this anymore. You.
