Meizu M2 Note Unboxing By Unbox PH

But it's open box, my name is John, and today we are doing a video unboxing of the maze m2 note. The amazing em to note is, if you don't know, it's the successor device to the m1 note by a zoo again was sold here in the Philippines a few months ago, and it was actually one of the phones that kicked off the bang for the buck Wars here in the Philippines this that m1 note was actually first phone under 10,000. That was really what you'd call really bang for the buck device, and it was followed by the Alcatel flash plus then the Lenovo a7000 and the flare eggs and all those other bang for the buck phones. So this is the follow-up of maze for it's its Note series, so the m2 note this particular phone is rather curious, because a lot of people think that the m2 note is a downgraded device from the m1 note, usually when, when manufacturers actually make a new or a successor device through their phones, they're, usually what you call this, they usually have higher hardware specs compared to go to the previous one. This is unique because it doesn't if we're going to be talking about that later on, but this particular phone actually is a bit of a letdown when comes to the hardware department, because it's slightly downgraded, so you're going to be talking about which will be talking about up length. So the m2 note this is the box.

Let's try the plain box, as you can see, you can just that's my IMEI. You don't want to see that. So this is the contents of the phone. You see, em to note phone power, adapter, USB, cable, sim, eject tool and warranty certificate. What it does not include is a pair of headphones, and you'll probably see why in a bit, so let's open it up, fail opening.

So you are actually presented with the phone or first time you open the box. This is the phone. This is the same. Eject tool actually uses a call. This NATO sims 2 90 sims inside that in using a tray that you actually pop out.

So there you go so how much is this so this particular phone is priced at 7490 pesos here in the Philippines, that's 16, gig version it went on sale earlier in July, I think so went on sale for a far cheaper price. It was around 6990, but it was online only so now it was a time exclusive with Lazada it's over.

You can actually buy this particular phone in over seven tech, physical stores, if you want it to so, let's put that away. Let's talk about a phone because that's what we are here to talk about, so it means to em to note so yes, first impression is it feels like an iPhone, 5c kind of, looks and feels like an iPhone 5c. It is kind of design just like that. That's not actually a bad thing: the iPhone 5, if there's one company that you want to copy a lot be apple because they really do make fantastic designs and fantastic. Looking phones, so 5.5 inch, full HD display uses our 1.3 hurts MediaTek's, 6753, outscore, processor, 2gb of ram us again, 5.5 inch, full HD, sharp TO display 16gb of storage expandable via micros 13, megapixel, rear camera, 5 megapixel front 3g, LTE, dual sim Wi-Fi android, 5.0, lollipop, 3100 mAh. So let's go through each one of those things one by one and compare it with the m1 note.

So the m2 note they say that the m2 note is a downgraded version of em. One note, because the media, tech, 67, 343, outscore processor, runs at one point three gigahertz in comparison: the M domains of em, one note which runs the 6752 outscore processor runs up, 1.7 gigahertz, so the m1 notice faster and also the n1 note, also uses a much faster GPU is essentially the graphics processing unit. This is what's responsible for powering very graphically intensive games, so the m1 note uses a 760 mp2 GPU, a Molly 7760, sorry I'm, Ali t 760 mp2 GPU, while the m2 note. Actually let me pull that up uses a MAL, ET 720 GPU. So that means the hardware in this particular phone is definitely downgraded compared to the m1 note, which is kind of weird, but you are actually what you're training off with that is that you actually get a micros expansion slot here.

So it uses typical system dual sim. You can actually use one sin: you have a choice to actually use the dual sim system, or you use just one Sam and use the other symmetry for expandable storage. The lack of expandable storage is actually one of the biggest problems of the m1 note, and a lot of people did not want to buy the phone because it only went came with 16 gigs of storage. That was that this particular phone actually fixes that, but you will actually have to trade off a faster processor and a faster GPU for that I. Don't know if that is actually a good thing for a couple of people.

I, don't know, I know some people who gladly take that trade. You might not want to then that's your choice. So one of the unique changes from the previous phone from the m1 note is that this particular phone actually uses a physical home button. If you've actually see-saw our review, you know the preview of them. One note you know that, actually you actually used a capacitive home button, a halo button which has been the hallmark of maze for a long time.

Why did they go with this? Actually, they built in a couple of features into this particular thing, so I pull up that. So let me show you how it actually works. So if you swipe from right to left, it actually goes back. Let's take a look at the total score of the maze m2. Note then m2 note, like I said, has a slower, processor and GPU combination compared to them.

One note so the m1 note if I memory serves actually scored around thirty-nine thousand four hundred. Ninety-three points in an tutu this particular phone 30 1799, so it's still rather high, but it's not as high as what we've experienced from that its its its predecessor. Again. It's rather curious that mains are actually decided to downgrade this particular phone compared to the previous phone, because, usually when, when you're actually talking about successor devices, they have better processors but ram faster processors and stuff, like that. So we're going to see if that, actually what we call this that actually pays off.

One of the things that may actually improve because of the downgraded processor and also the GPU, is that the phone will probably last longer when you're, actually using it in every day. In you know everyday use, you might actually get better battery life compared to that, not that the m1 note actually had bad battery life. It actually had very good battery life. But again you know one point: three gigahertz off the core processor and the slower GPU might actually yield different results are going to be running park battery a benchmark on this particular phone, and we will see if that will actually yield better battery life when you're actually using it. So that's it for this hands-on and video unboxing of the m2 note.

Unfortunately, we were not able to install our regular gaming testing app, which is Marvel's future fight. For some reason we managed to install it, but when it's actually downloading updates it hanged and there are problems and stuff like that, we actually notice that with the flying powered and one note as well, there are a couple of apps that actually don't run on that. So we're going to be using another game to actually test the phone, we'll be updating our uploading. Another video for gaming test for this particular form later on. So that's pretty much.

Currently, in watch out for that updated gaming test, we will be doing one of that, or we will be uploading a game test to see if this particular phone actually is capable of running, very graphics, intensive games just to see if the prop or just to see if the GPU and the processor combination is actually good enough for gaming.
