Meizu 16Xs Unboxing and First Impressions By Techaeris

This is the maze 16 XS we're going to unbox it and have our first impressions straight ahead. Welcome back guys, it's awesome. Tech airs calm, and we are going to unbox, the maze 16 X s, but first I'm going to go get some coffee, all righty, you guys. We are back and I have my coffee. So let's get to this unboxing of the maze 16 X s, alright, guys I am back, and I've had my coffee, and we are going to unbox. This maze 16 X s, the 16 X s is a new phone from maze which is coming in at 245 dollars, which is phenomenal, considering they just announced and released the maze 16 s, which I also have, and we're gonna kind of compare those two side-by-side.

They both have different processors, a few different specs that are different, which makes the price tag a little lower on the 16 XS. But I do have the 16 s here in hand, which is this one here and I did do an unboxing, and we did review that phone already, but we're going to unbox the 16 XS and see what the differences are alrighty. We got the top off here, and it's just a nice blue box, and you're presented right away with the phone and that's pretty normal 6.2-inch full screen display full F, HD plus. So it's better a little a bit better than HD. It's sporting, a snapdragon, 616, 5 and 6 gigs of ram I believe this in this one, with 64, gigs of storage, front camera of 16, megapixel, rear camera, 48, 5 and 8 dual tone: flash and screen fingerprint sensor, em charge and back blimey OS, and that is the phone there, and we're going to put that to the side for a minute see what else is in there.

You have your sim ejection tool and, of course, I believe this is going to be your paperwork, which not everybody reads. Most people do not read this, and that is all that is. There's paperwork put that to the side, and you have your charging brick and, of course this is a Chinese phone, and it's not for America. This actual adapter, so I'd be using a different, adapter I'm sure the ones that Duke end up coming out here to the US will have the correct adapter. This is just a sample unit.

So that's why it is the way it is, and you have your USB-C cable, pretty standard stuff here. Nothing else in the box no case, not nothing else. This is the 16 s right here, and this is the 16 X s, and we're going to peel, some stuff off real, quick alrighty guys. This guy does have some power, so we're powering up and, as you can see, they're very similar, both the 16 s and the 16 X s about the same footprint same size screens, and what I really liked about this phone is its full screen very thin, Buzzle's, and it's the same here with the 16 XS. Well, I'm going to set this up real, quick, we'll be right back alright guys we are back, and I have this 16 XS from Mizzou all set up.

This is what it looks like. It looks almost identical, well pretty much identical to the maze 16 s switches to its right. This is fly me OS! That's on here. This is what it's gonna look like out of the box. It's pretty straightforward, there's no app drawer, or it's just like an iPhone we're just the apps just up here on your screen, and they just continue adding screens all the apps are on this on.

Just your home screen, I'm running Nova Launcher over here on this one. So going to look a little different now. The major difference on these phones right now are the cameras. The 16s has a dual camera setup and the 16 X s has a triple camera setup here, and we're going to show you that real quick as you can see, and again it's its. The same kind of material kind of with glass feels plastic, but they say it's glass, it's very nice.

It's got a nice little design to it in the back, so it gives us some kind of little kind of same thing is the new mobile g3 I actually prefer the maze 16s design has that carbon fiber? Look to it. That's really! A nice look, I really enjoyed that a lot. This phone is nice to hold in the hand, and it's the same as a 16. The same thing here with a 16 X s, it's very small, with a 6.2-inch screen, but it's its nice to hold in the hand. It's very comfortable I like this, the thin bezels here on the top and bottom.

Then you have your front-facing camera right here and your volume rocker and power button right there USB- and this comes with a phone jack. The 16s does not have a headphone jack, so the cheaper $245 16 XS does come with a headphone jack. There's your SIM card tray on the side antenna on the top and a microphone on top speaker on the bottom. Next to your USB-C port. Now the 16 X s as a 6.2 inch display same as the 16 s. Next to it- and it also comes with a four thousand William hour battery six gigs I, ran, and I believe this is a 64, the 64 gigabyte version.

Yes, indeed, this is the 64 gigs of ROM or storage and six gigs of RAM six gigs of RAM on this as well. Really they almost look at there they're pretty identical, there's a slight difference, maybe in the chin, but it's its very negligible and the top I pretty much think this is the same chassis that some differences are gonna, be internal internally. This thing is running a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 with an adrenal 612 GPU. It is running Android, 9 pi, as is the 16s. The rear camera is a 48 megapixel and there's a triple camera on there.

One thing I am noticing right off the bat is this thing gets a lot dirtier quicker than the 16s. This seems to be to not hold fingerprints as much as the 16 XS, it's probably a glass material. On the back there, you have probably seen something very different, I'm, not sure, probably the save those costs, since it is only a $240 phone. It has the same fingerprint sensor on the underneath the screen. It's pretty quick, I think it works pretty.

Well, it's not the same fingerprint sensor as Samsung has on their s10, but it works really well.16S also worked really well. One thing I am noticing right now is that this 16s is slightly heavier than the 16 XS. It's not a lot, but you can feel the difference. Definitely so the triple camera on the back is a 48 megapixel F 1.7 ultra-wide and 8 megapixel F 2.2, and if I megapixel F 1.9 depth, sensors, oh that's where your portrait mode and whatnot and then of course, there's a flash on. There has HDR panorama shoots: video on 2160p 30 for 30 frames per second and 1080p at 30 frames per second with gyro.

Are you know, electronic image stabilization and front camera is a 16 megapixel, F 2.2 with HDR and 1080p F. Excuse me 30 frames per second video on that guy, and it doesn't have active noise cancellation, and it only has a one speaker. So that's the one on the bottom comes in carbon black, which is what we have here for a white and phantom blue, and it's $245. So that's actually a decent price for what you're getting here, I believe I, really love the 16s. It's a great phone.

The difference here is this is running a Snapdragon 855 with an Arena 8 640. So this is gonna. Give you a little better performance, but it's also going to cost you a little more money, but it's not that much more than the 16 X s, starting at 476. So a couple of hundred dollars more, and you're getting a little better performance on this one, but this is definitely on almost identical to the 16s. It's a nice phone holds well in the hand we'll have to test the cameras out.

If you haven't checked that out yet- and we also did an unboxing of this and first impressions right now for my first impressions on this phone I like it- because it's almost it's pretty much identical to the 16s- it's great- to hold in the hand- it's not too big- it's got a nice footprint, and it's very comfortable, and it still has that 6.2-inch screen not only that, but people enjoy that they have a headphone jack in the bottom there.
