Hey, what's going on guys, I'm nick griffin, Android, and today I am back with another smartphone camera comparison with the LG v 60, which just went on sale this past week and comparing it to the Samsung Galaxy s, 20 plus, which I'm using to record right now. Now, as I do in all of these camera comparisons, everything that you see here is recorded with these two smartphones so keep an eye at the bottom of the screen to see which device is being used with that, let's jump into some side-by-side spec comparisons to see how these two devices match up on paper, we're going to start things off with the camera: specs of the Samsung Galaxy s, 20, plus on the back of the phone here, you're looking at four camerae: sensors, a 12 megapixel main sensor, 64 megapixels, 3x, telephoto camera and then a 12 megapixel ultra-wide camera with finally a time-of-flight depth sensor for capturing depth, information and then up front you're, looking at a 10 megapixel front facing camera, and all of these can record 4k video at up to 60 frames per second, while the main camera on the back of the galaxy s.20 plus can record 8k video as well when it comes to the LG v, 60 you're, looking at a triple camera setup on the back of the phone with a 64 megapixel main sensor, 13 megapixels, ultra-wide camera and then a time-of-flight depth sensor. Unfortunately, there is no telephoto camera on the back of this phone since they opted to go with digital zoom from the 64 megapixel sensor. As far as the front-facing camera goes you're looking at a 10 megapixel sensor, this can record 4k video at up to 60 frames per second, as can the main cameras on the back, but that one can also do 8k video at 28 frames per second now that we have the specs of the cameras on the Samsung Galaxy s, 20 plus, and also the LG v 60, all squared away, let's jump into some side-by-side photo and video comparison see how these two devices perform in everyday scenarios. From the main cameras on both of these smartphones, you can record 8k video, but what you're looking at right here is 4k video at 60 frames per second, it's not the brightest day out overcast for sure. So not a lot of contrast here, but they both perform really well, but it's nice to see that both of these devices actually have perfect audio from them, with the LG UV 60, actually having four microphones on the outside, which does help with noise cancellation when it comes to capturing video with the front-facing cameras with both of these devices you're looking at 4k video at 60 frames per second, which is pretty impressive, considering that we've only had 4k 60 on rear cameras for a couple of years now, as you can see, both of these devices do perfect.
In harsh lighting, like this dynamic range, looks pretty good. Let's see how they can do in low-light situations as well and for the rear cameras on the back of these two phones. They can max out at 8k video capture, but you're. Looking at video recording here, captured at 4k 60 frames per second, which is really nice, especially when there's a lot of light in the shot. I think Jenny's about to start recording a video I already did.
What are you eating? Lana, whatever it's called? Are you a rabbit boy, how you girls liking the coronavirus lockdown, and this here is a look at video quality at night from the rear facing cameras recorded at 4k 60 frames per second, it is a pretty dark out here, but from what I can see on the screen, both of these devices look like they're doing pretty good job by pulling in some additional light and again testing out the front-facing cameras on both of these devices? This time in low light situations walking down the street here, giving you an idea of what this image stabilization is gonna, be looking like if you're, recording, video and walking down the street at the same time. What's really sad right now is that this area of Cleveland is typically pretty packed on a Saturday night with all the restaurants around here, but unfortunately, due to the almost lockdown that we have streets, as you can see, are pretty empty. There are a couple cars passing by, but this is definitely not what it is typically like. So that's gonna! Do it for our camera, comparison between the galaxy s, 20 plus, and the LG V 60. Overall I would say these two devices are pretty well-matched with both of them winning out in certain scenarios, but if you look at it as a whole, Samsung Galaxy s, 20 plus, definitely comes out on top, though I'd like to note a few things.
The LG v 60 actually seems to do better than the Samsung Galaxy s, 20 plus when it comes to zoom, even though it only has a 64 megapixel main sensor, while the galaxy s 20 plus, has a dedicated sensor and lens for zooming in to 3x zoom and then there's the image processing for selfies. The LG does a lot better than Samsung does on the galaxy s 20 plus, you can turn down beauty mode almost all the way, but in order to turn it off completely, you have to go into manual mode which isn't convenient at all. So with that I'm curious to know which of these two devices you would rather own for taking pictures and videos on a regular basis, the LG v 60 or the Samsung Galaxy s, 20 plus, and you have more camera comparisons with these two devices, comparing them to other devices, so make sure you stay subscribe to the channel to see those as soon as they're online. Thank you guys. So much for watching stay safe out there, I don't catch you on the next one.
